I have been running Frank's Marshmallow ROM since two days and its great. The one thing i miss from Lollipop is Franco's Kernel. That kernel had option to boost headphone volume. Since there's no Marshmallow version for Franco's Kernel, i am stuck with low volume.
Is there any other kernel that has option of increasing headset volume ?
Faux Sound 3.6 (veeery good boost volume on headphone and speakers ) has implemented on taurus & AK kernel avialible on Marshmallow

Thanks! I am using TaUrUs kernel and found the option to gain volume
Is there anyway to get a MaxxAudio/AudioTuner style EQ bass boost for the built in external speaker on cyanogenMod based custom Roms? I am open to any suggestions, thank you.

Which nougat ROM + Kernel and other accessories combination is best for music experience
Thanks for your opinions

I have tested 4 nougat based ROM's- Ressurection Remix, AICP, Official Lineage OS nightlies and AOSP-Extended and I have to say, being an audiophile myself that Nougat ROMs won't give you a very great music experience. The sound was distorted in both the speaker as well as the headphone jack. AICP was the only ROM that came with AudioFX and it wouldn't work when I would connect my headphones. I flashed the ARISE mod as well as Divine Beats and it would just make it worse. I even flashed Viper4Android and Dolby Atmos separately and it would increase the distortion. My suggestion, stick to a MM based ROM if you are picky about your Music as Nougat ROMs still have this issue to be fixed. I had asked this question on XDA as a matter of fact and they all told me the same thing.
