Well then try phonograph from playstore or ported Huawei music player which has online music playback support in hq
I suggest to use the Retro Music Player it has the best looks compared to others trust me. You can get it from the link below. ?

how did u get to view you tube on your 8125? i have orb 2.0 and it keeps asking me for some codecs.
You have to download certain codecs and install them from there website. The codec that i installed to get the youtube videos to play was the ffdshow codec.
what do you guys mean? go to tinytube.net on your phone and you can download any video from 6 different sources, including, google, myspace, and break just to name a few.
its awesome

I second that. Nothing to install, just download away.

You CANNOT view youtube videos with tinytube.net. Plus it seems im always being queued to view a damn video. Orb is faster compared to the quality...only downside is you have to have your computer running. Which I dont find to be a problem personally
but most youtube videos are on google and myspace anyway
It seems that none of the offered solutions properly play streaming video. Anyone found any other way to do so?

I followed these instructions and the work very very well on my WM6 Kaiser.
http://www.allshadow.com/2007/11/28/how-to-watch-online-video/
Kind of off topic, but a little similar... Is anyone having problems downloading streaming media from these sites? I have an AT&T Tilt and whenever I click on a streaming link that is flashed based, Realplayer will come up and tell me this file format is not supported. But, there is no option anywhere to uninstall this thing! I also tried adding all associations /w TCPMP but still no luck. Anyone else running into this?
Sorry if this is old news but I've been looking for something to play flash on my XDA for a while but I couldn't find a mention in any forums, so I tracked this down on the adobe site
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer_pocketpc/downloads/player.html
again sorry if it's old news but you never know someone else may have been looking for the same thing
Edit reason - realised people may skip this if they thought I was looking for a copy rather than I'd found one, also attached the file just in case it disappears from the adobe site
won't play
i've downloaded the flash player and installed it..but i still can't watch videos from youtube??? any suggestions on how i might fix this???

You're right! I was looking for this. Many thanks.
Actually for watching youtube videos flashplayer 7 is not enough, because, if I am right, the video streaming feature (which is used by every video site) has been introduced only in flashplayer 9.
Hi,
This tool will help you to enable flash support into your Opera browser: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4255967&postcount=21

Latest european 3G firmware has the AllShare app. The AllShare apk is posted in this thread somewhere http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1262343
No idea if it will work, but give it a try.

Hey, thanks for pointing this out. I have been looking for a DLNA client for ages now -- really missed AllShare.
I hope it works on my INU firmware though :-/
PS: The apk is in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17602427&postcount=48
Not working well. Photos are OK on your tab. Flac files dont work. If you want to stream a movie on your tab program crashes. Since it crashes at tah point I wasnt able to stream anything from my PC to my Samsung TV using the tab. But it sees all my servers right away... then not working.
It's worth trying Skifta, although it can use battery a bit quickly if left running.

Aww... anybody using AllShare on the firmware it officially came with? Maybe for some reason it doesn't work properly with other firmware.
I've just tried the Allshare app on my standard UK WiFi Tab, I've only tried streaming a standard avi file and it works fine for me.

I tried it and it worked just fine. It's very fast and smooth moving in folders and scrolling movie lists. Played every file i tried.
Maybe it has something to do with the firmware or stock video player. I noticed that the built in video player plays streams (from web) that it didn't play on previous firmware.

Gave it a try on my INU firmware -- it plays MP3s fine. However if i try to play any videos, it force closes (if i have installed it as a normal app). If i install it as a system app, it doesnt force close but gives a 'unsupported file format' error.
Can someone please post the VideoPlayer.apk from the working ROM please? Also, DivX.apk (just in case its needed too).

I have not rooted my tab, so unfortunately i can't help with the apk's. Try to ask in the ROM thread where the AllShare apk was posted, i believe someone surely can post the apk's.

Did that - thanks. If that doesnt work as well, I guess i can just install the entire ROM.
has anyone had any luck with moboplayer? it dioesnt find the codec on the play store, and i cannot access the .mobo folder in the sdcard to manually install the codec.
edit - moved the files appropriately through the computer, still not working. getting the same "download the codec" screen.
I didnt go through that much trouble but it wont work for me either. It was my favorite player!!!! MX player works well, but the on screen buttons dont disappear.. just darken so what feels like a lot of the 7 inch screen is taken up

Think its broken for Jelly Bean currently, no luck on my Gnex either.
what about rockplayer? does that work?
Threads about apps go in the Themes & Apps section
I've always stuck with Dice Player, plays every video file perfectly and its also working on JB.
No luck here either. I tried BSPlayer and it's not bad. MX Video Player is ok but had trouble with an AVI. Dice Player has replaced them all for me now.

firstly i have not used freedom app so i cant say anything about it !! but u can flash gapps once and see if its works or not !! if that dont work then flash stock !!
and for video player MX player is the best !! and for mx player u have to download and install two files 1.mx player 2. MX Player Codec (ARMv6 for galaxy y)
i think u've installed the codec and thatswhy u can find it on ur phone !! i gave u the solution !! try it...
woah ty ALOT dude i mean seriosly ur soloution worked great man.....both of em
but the problem im facing right now is that the vid im watching is lagging alot on my cell on mx player is there anyway i can speed it up ?

if it is an mp4 encoded with the x264 codec then no - not in its current form as the galaxy y does not support hardware accelleration
you have two choice
1 - download videos in avi encoded with xvid
2 - use your pc to convert the video into avi encoded with xvid
besides that there is no way to speed it up what about ram consumption or cpu control ?
do I HAVE to switch it to avi and is there anyway i can do that on my phone ?

no if it is encoded in mp4 x264 - the galaxy y is not powerful enough to play it as it has no hardware accelleration
there are apps that convert video but I wouldnt bother with them - it would take days on a galaxy y
converting on pc or downloading avi in the first place if possible is the only solution
cm7 does support hardware accelleration with mx player but as we dont have full working libs the chances are if you turn on hardware accelleration in mx player your video will not play at all
It's better to convert it on PC and transfer to your phone

try clearing playstore data
About your problem with the Google Play Store:
Install Root Browser, navigate to system/etc/ and delete the hosts file. Then reboot your phone and your Play Store will be working.

Freedom sucks
Just uninstall the freedom app ...... and reinstall the old version of Playstore like 3.10
But i would really suggest u to stop using freedom
