bump
Usually to change the CSC you have to flash the new firmware (which you have done) but then also flash to change the CSC. - On previous Samsung's (Note 3) - you have to flash the firmware, wipe the device then insert your SIM and it changes to your region.
This *may* apply to the S5 also, but only way to actually tell would be to do it, extract the CSC info and flash it. If you're unsure how to do this, then I'd hold off for a little while until others have tested different methods or release a guide on how to change it.
I am just wondering if I9505OXXAMDC means that any CSC ending in AMDC is compatible, or I need to look for that specific one?
What is relevant and what not in the CSC naming?
CSC = Country Sales Code
There is no problem with flashing or if you want you can change CSC every day via Phone info

Hi everyone,
I installed an original firmware from germany and my CSC shows as original the CSC code as SIM which is from Slovenia and only firmware from that country is for the 910C but I have a 910F.
Now I would like to know which is my original CSC.
thank you!
I will try to explain muy question...
Im using a S8 Dual Sim (SM-G950FD) with XSG CSC (In Firmware section appears XSG/XSG/XSG like mi CSC code), but im from Mexico and recently I changed the firmware to another with TCE code, but when my phone starts, after the firmware change with the combination rom, my CSC code was something like this:
TCE/TCE/XSG
What means each one of these codes and why the last didnt change to TCE?
