Am I correct in understanding that there isn't a way to root this device? Or is it possible some way that I am not seeing? Thanks.

Hello,
please do not expect ANY response, if you do not provide any information.
What build of 4.3 do you have?
do you have root?
what recovery?
what ROM?
any additions?
What did you change before it happened?
Do I really have to explain that?
Hi,
im trying to help someone root his S5 the easiest way possible as i cant get to him and he's not too computer savvy. Some sort of 1 click method would be great as i can talk him through it.
Does anyone know if towelroot.com still works for it? Or is there something similar
UK version if that matters
thanks in advance

Hi,
towelroot works fine, but you need a stock 4.4.2 and install the boot NE2 (To Odine) have to get to the root...
it keeps knox to 0X0.
Easiest way to update to marshmallow when i'm already rooted? Will it delete all my ****? Do I need to make a backup? Thx in advance.
Can anyone explain to me why I would root my phone? What are the benefits of rooting? I know you can flash roms or install Xposed framework after root but what are some other reasons to root?

There are countless articles online on why one would root, start with Google.
How can you tell which version the bootloader is? Sorry if this seems like a noob question..
Do you have Root? This app may require root but should be able to tell: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo
