Since I own this device I have difficulties with bluetooth all the time. Besides that the device is randomly disabling and enabling bluetooth for now evident reason, I have the issue of low volume and bad quality when streaming music. Last night I was so desperate that I even did a factory reset, restoring my setting and file for the rest of the evening :crying: but I have still the issue of low volume and random bluetooth disables.
Does anyone else have or had these issues and knows a solution?

I have had my Oneplus Two for over 3 months now and always have the same problem with my Bluetooth. At times the Bluetooth media audio and phone calls works flawlessly, but other times it gets extremely choppy to the point where it skips a second or two at a time continuously. I have noticed that this mostly happens when I get a call while music is playing and the phone changes to the phone call and then changes back to the music which becomes choppy. But also happens at times when the phone just connects to the Bluetooth. This problem/bug happens to all my Bluetooth devices car/speaker/etc which points to the oneplus as the culprit. Manually turning off Bluetooth and turning back on and connecting to the Bluetooth player resolves the problem. As I thought this was a problem with OOS I have waited it out for the MM update to come, but got annoyed and flashed CM13 on my device and the problem is still present. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if so how did they resolve? Thanks for taking time to read this post and any answers are greatly appreciated.
Tldr: Bluetooth audio extremely choppy at random times looking for solution.
I see this device has a buttload of issues with Bluetooth....And have tried clearing the cache in Bluetooth...But would love to fix this totally garbage issue of the Bluetooth totally turning off, forcing me to re-enable it to connect again. Any help would be greatly appreciated! ☺
Any luck with this? I'm stock and noticed mine started turning off about two weeks ago. I'm assuming some app I installed is causing it but not sure which one.
Not turning off however I am having issues with auto-reconnect on my BT headphones (JBL Everest 700). When I turn the headphones on they never auto connect to BT, I always have to go in and select them and only then will they connect.
Also other BT weirdness: Music plays with no sound although BT still connected. Not sure how I managed to do this as its happened a few times. I think leaving the music paused too long does it. Maybe the headphones stay connected but go to sleep...not sure. Anyway to get sound again one must close the music app, turn off BT device and switch off-on the BT on the phone...
Hi,
I never had any issues with my 6P, but out of nowhere, observing since few days that my speakerphone whether be in regular phone call or whatsapp call is not working. However, audio plays fine otherwise in apps like youtube etc. I tried doing factory reset, and reflashing 8.1 stock, still didn't help.
I tried going to 8.0 Dec firmware but ended up in bootloop issue(which I never saw otherwise), so re-installed 8.1 Jan package.
This is driving me nuts not being able to use the device for whatsapp kinda calls.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
anyone please?
Do you mean people can't hear you or you can't hear them on speaker phone? If other apps are working, it's not speaker but mic problem.
I can't hear on speakerphone, others hear well.

I would do a complete wipe including internal (back up everything.) Then flash latest 8.1 with bootloader, vendor and radio through fastboot. If still doesn't work must be issue with hardware .
I have the same phone and the same problem. I doubt it's a hardware problem. I don't have a solution either as I've tried many things.
Same issue with mine, they haven't missed off the lines of code again, on speaker phone audio is only coming from 1 speaker.
I still have this issue, has anyone managed to resolve this.
Same issue here. I thought it was Bluetooth related until I tested it today with Bluetooth off. When making or receiving calls sometimes audio will not work at all thigh speaker phone or regular call audio out.
A temporary fix for me is turning speakerphone on and off a couple times then audio is usually recovered.
I noticed this typically happens when audio interruptions occur for instance your listing to Spotify via speaker or Bluetooth and then make a call causing an audio Interruption to switch to call audio from media audio.
Definitely not a hardware issue and very annoying hoping to have a phone for more than 2 years without so many issues.
I am having a weird issue that I've never encountered before. I have a bluetooth earpiece (an MPOW one from Amazon). If, while listening to podcasts (or music or anything else) through it I disconnect from Wifi, the audio drops from the earpiece and keeps playing from the phone's speaker. I then have to turn off my earpiece and turn it back on again to get the audio to route through the earpiece. It doesn't disconnect (still shows as connected) when this happens...it just stops playing though the earpiece.
I've tried forgetting and repairing the bluetooth device. I've tried rebooting. I've tried clearing the data for the Bluetooth Sharing application...none of it has fixed the problem. If I turn my wifi off, this doesn't happen....
Any help?
Bluetooth is 2.45Ghz, actually 2400Mhz to 2483.5 MHz including guard bands 2 MHz wide at the bottom end and 3.5 MHz wide at the top...
"2.4Ghz" 802.11 WiFi is 2401Mhz to 2495Mhz...
See the problem here? Your issue is not uncommon... reconfigure your router to a different channel or use a 5Ghz WiFi connection and your situation should improve.
This varies by device, and even varies between identical devices, and depends on the environment and situation at the time. My device may have no issues with my BT headset and your does, it actually isn't that unusual.

I'm having the same issues. The wifi interference is not the issue. It's been happening to me playing offline materials on Google Play (podcast) and Amazon Music apps It's auto dropping when connected to my car, headphones etc. I wonder if it has something to do with my Pebble smart/dumb watch.? I'm going to try and disconnect that and reconnect it. It was a pain in the Arse the first time. Let me know if you ever figured anything else out. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of traffic on this subject. It's gotta be something obscure. :cyclops:
I finally just did a system reset on my phone and it has fixed the problem. I wonder if it was an app I had installed that was causing the issue....I'm not really sure though.
I'm having the same issue - bluetooth disconnects whenever Wifi disconnects. Anyone figure out what's causing this?
Same issue here too. Mine says it is still connected, but starts playing through the phone speaker. It just happened on a second item, so it's the phone end.
I suspect a rogue app.... Moto G5 Plus

This was driving me crazy too the last few weeks. Cache Cleaner seems to have fixed it.
Mine has been giving me the exact same issues!!! It is driving me crazy!
Tried clearing cache...didn't help. I can't get my wifi to stay connected for the life of me! I'll connect, and it'll die within 5-10 minutes, and won't reconnect until I manually reconnect. This is getting really annoying! Any suggestions?
Cache cleaner turned out to be a temporary fix only. I think I have finally fixed it, but the bad news is I can't really tell anyone what I did. I just went through and either uninstalled or froze all the apps I rarely use including several Motorola apps and it appears to be working now. So if it continues to work, it was a rogue app...just don't know which one.
I was wondering if anyone else is having Bluetooth volume go up and down while listening to music? I am on the T-Mobile variant and 8ts very annoying. I've seen elsewhere people suggesting Disable Absolute Volume but still does it.
Hey, I have the same issue here. I was wondering if it's just in my head, but sometimes it is pretty much recognizable, so it is not just a feeling. It is pretty annoying. It happens on multiple devices, from Bullets Wireless, JBL Flip 4 and even Car Audio System. I tried to change BT codec in Developers Settings, without any success. Interestingly, it does not happen with every connection, only from time to time. But when happens, then it occurs all the time to next disconnection.
If it is Android 9 Pie issue, let's hope for quick fix.
