Yep, this happed with me. After the new cm based roms (after 0619 releases), FC-s the settings and security option, and fingerprint only some CM roms. After flashing it's gone, and everythings great. I was need a week to find out what's happend these problems So I think it's usefully for a lot of people.

Well you can't. Developers are more concerned on CM13 that they forgot to make a flashable bootloader to revert back to MIUI which is in LP. You need to flash official ROM thru fastboot mode. No other choice.

So as I Was Searching for Miui 10 GCam Fix i Ran Across That Video
And Since That We Have The Miui 10 issue for Google Camera For Black Screen and As Im Still Working for a fix (nothing worked yet) and we still have to use the bad processing miui cam and Cam Api 1
i need testers for this apk i found in this video that claims to have blackscreen fix
also i m thinking that Xiaomi Enabled Cam Api 2 by default in framework cause when i compared both Miui 9 and Miui 10 Frameworks they were identical and the camera api 2 folder exists and untoched (used mild to compare) and might be also a bug in libs or maybe cam xmls which are in /system/etc/ still dont know
so since am not home and i dont have miui 10 installed on my device yet (cause i wont change and lose my google camera for a skin sorry)
am calling for who have MIUI 10 To Test it and tell if it worked

I tried the apk without camera2api enabled and it just crashes, with camera2 enabled it still shows the black screen.
If you want I can try the camera libs or the xml from Miui 9 in 10.
If anyone links a system dump from Miui 9 I can try to copy some camera files around to 10 to see if it works.
It's the only thing who i don't use miui 10 actually. It's hilarious that Xiaomi doesn't fix it when in others Xiaomi all works great without any fix. And no one dev doesn't care about this... i don't use anymore miui for this.

Guys can we clearly mention Which custom ROM's Does the Pixel 3 Camera ? mod (working Night Sight) by Arnova8G2 Work? And Specifically which Build?
I have tried it on first Official Build of Pixel Experience ROM and it did work a few bugs here and there tough the Night Sight worked really well.
I also had the Pixel2Mod V8.3b1 Camera for my regular use and Pixel 3 based Night sight enabled mod for Night Mode as they have different package names.
Lets us find out the best Stable PIE ROM(With Fast Charging as well) + Pixel 3 based Night sight enabled Camera Mod Combo and keep posting updates.

So far the custom pie roms that work with pixel 3 camera 6.1 debug2 by @Arnova8G2 on Asus x00td 4/64 variant base on my experience are:
- Pixel Experience
- Liquid Remix
- Havoc
- XenonHD
- AEX official
- Frankenrom
Night sight work
front camera result become green but if I took photo with front camera outdoor with daylight it works fine

Did u uninstall previous build b4 install the 2nd debug version?
I cleared storage of the previous build b4 uninstall, then install debug2 version and work

I didn't have any previous versions. Even beta1 and 2 can't be installed. Does it have to do anything with the Gapps version installed?? I have installed full version. What have you installed??

I am on AEX 6.0 android 9.0
If i install open Gapps mini with the ROM the app installs but with any other higher set of Gapps the installer fails.
Hi guys. Nobody posted a thread about this so I posted one. I am using the Xiaomi MI A1 with Pixel Experience rom installed. I got the Pixel 3 GCam Mod from the developer BSG and got the green tint. So I went into Settings>BSG Mod Settings>FIX and turned on the fixed black level. It improved. The green tint was gone but now there's a pink tint. I also used Arnova8g2's GCAM but there was a FREAKING GREEN TINT! Can anyone help please? Thanks
Note: Please don't ask me uninstall the GCam. I really like the Pixel 3 GCam

Hi I did turn off HDR but I am not able to take any photos with it off I don't know why
It is a common problem with modded GCam 6.x... tried multiple distros, all of them share this problem. I suggest downgrading to 5.1 or 5.3 if you'd like to take selfies with GCam, Arnova's builds work perfectly on Mi A1's, but keep on eye out for new 6.x versions. I'll keep on trying out new distros too and will inform you if anything gets fixed.

Which 5.3 versions work? I tried Arnova's 1.4 and 1.5beta2, and BSG's latest 5.3 build, both of them crash when trying to open.

Use 5.1 based version, 5.3 had bugs and were not working properly.
