Whenever I try, Google Play Services force closes. I installed OpenGApps aroma package for 7.1 and ARM64, I choosed all apps, which are in pico package, and that 1-2 apps I need. I installed GApps on Android 8.1 this way too, but on Oreo it's working.

Can someone supply a zip to flash for just the Play Services?
Are there also Google Play Services Crash fixed GApps for 5.0?
Installed cm13 last night and installed the pico gapps package from the cm wiki page. Everything else is working great but downloading apps from Google store is fluctuational. Sometimes dropping to 500 KB/s or lower on a 50mb/s cable internet connection.
Any ideas ? Any better gapps package for cm13? Would highly prefer a barebones package with just google play store and necessities for it to function.

New gapps package seemed to help.
I installed on my Nexus 4, Nitrogen 7.1.2 and Open Gapps ver.7.1 aroma. I noticed Google keyboard Gboard is not working with Cyrillic now. Flashed again and tried mini, nano and stock but all the time got error 70 – not sufficient space. I suppose there is a conflict with Gboard installed over the initial package from Open gapps.
Is there other package instead of Open Gapps?

You can try Beans gapps mini... They should also work. Open gapps mini, nano and pico should work. I always use Open gapps pico. In that case it will never show "not sufficient space" error.
Try a clean flash once.

Let’s consider a minimal installation with: Slim7 + Chrome and Youtube (whatsapp?)
We can preinstall with Slim7:
-Gapps Mini: it has YouTube and we need to install Chrome with Play store
-Gapps Micro: it has only the Play Store, and we have to install Chrome and YouTube
-Aurora apk (manually) : it has nothing, and we have to install Chrome and YouTube it with it own store
The PROBLEM is:
are we still facing the banana-gorilla-jungle problem, when we start installing a program with Aurora Store or Gapps micro ?
Id est, when we will install the YouTube & Chrome, will the installer NEED anyway to get ALSO all the other libraries and components that the Gapps *Mini* has already stored on your Tablet ?
So at the end, will the system end with the same library and components installed ?

Just installed lineage 14.1 and Gapps pico. Not so bad ....
Tryed also to install Aurora Store apk... BUT
WARNING...
The installer fails to download the apk you want, when connecting in _anonymous_ mode.
The installer offers to connect via your account but WARNS you that, being Aurora a banned app, your Google account may be banned too if fount using Google Play store (!!!).
READ the Aurora Store notice very carefully BEFORE accepting or denying..
I'm NOT a gapps user so I will NOT be participating in this thread. I'm not supporting or answering any gapps project questions.
This thread is for users who want/need to run gapps with 19.1 on msm8916 tablet devices like SM-T35x, SM-T550, SM-T560NU and SM-P550.
I opened this thread as a courtesy for users who want/need gapps.
At last count there were 5 gapps projects and they are in various states of "working" wrt to 19.1. It's your responsibility to put in some hours of research to find out what gapps works for you.
All I can say is that some testers report that NikGapps 12.1L arm64 core (May 1, 2022) work. Despite the arm64 name, that version WILL work on msm8916. Your mileage may vary.

I installed retiredtab's Lineage 19.1 on my P550. I then tried to install various GApps to see which was best (doing a clean install of lineage and then the Gapps files each time). Here's what I found:
1. Could not find any OpenGapps 12.1 to run on ARM
2. FlameGapps did not install (error: must be ARM64).
3. MindTheGapps works but seemed to really slow the P550.
4. NikGapps ARM64 Core works okay. I tried the other larger NikGapps (Basic, Omni, Stock & Full) while they installed okay the functions did not seem to be present. For example the Lineage Calendar did not get replaced by the Google calendar, Chrome did not replace Browser, etc. Perhaps they are ARM64 versions that do not run on ARM devices.
5. BiTGApps-arm-12.1.0-v1.4_signed.zip was the best I found. The first time I loaded it, the Google Play Store always showed 'Paused' but I reinstalled it (wipe everything, format, then load Lineage and BitGApps zip files together) and everything worked fine. Quite happy with the this setup !!

Then you won't have access to the Google apps and services.
Some things you can access with other apps (like checking your Gmail in another client).
