I'm currently using Pixel experience ROM but I guess it's a hardware issue.
Is there any way to disable audio routing to the earphone?
Hi

Has anyone had issues with there audio through the headphone jack? It sounds like I am listening though a tunnel!!! And even through the speakers I notice it a little. Any suggestions?
I had this issue with the first set of headphones I tried (the set that came with my Samsung Galaxy S). I swapped the headphones for a better set (Sony's standard €20 earbuds) and the problem was fixed.
Just disable Dolby Mobile in Settings when listening with the headphones. Dolby Mobile seems to be related to (optimized for) the internal speakers.

This will indeed fix your issue. Also make sure the jack seated correctly... sounds silly but on the iconia I have noticed many times that it didn't correctly sense my headphone jack and audio was coming through the cable but sounding very thin, as well as still playing out the iconia speakers.
Hi,
I have been facing issue with nexus 6p when headphones without mic like sony xb30ex earphones are connected. This headphones do not have mic embedded in them so when these headphones are connected to the phone ideally the microphone of the phone should be enabled. So that user can use the mic of the phone to talk to caller. This does not happen in the case of nexus 6p. When i connect my sony xb30ex headphones to phone the microphone of the phone is disabled and the caller does not here my voice at all. I have been using these headphones with other phones such as motorola, sony, micromax and htc. I never this issue in any such phone at all.
I have tried this on vanilla settings , safe mode and that too after resetting the phone. But the issue persists which means its a bug with the OS itself.
have you looked at the dialer to see if there are options between handset and headset?
i have the same issue. how did you resolved it?
Hey p8 lite owners,
I have noticed that when playing audio/ music via Bluetooth to external speakers the sound output is extremely distorted & too "bassed". No issues with connection just bad sounding music.
Am rooted on marshmallow, unlocked bootloader. Anybody know how to fix the Bluetooth audio quality? Shame. This phone has a nice set of inbuilt speakers.
TIA
Issue seems to have resolved itself after a while.
What version of firmware are you running?
Hi,
I lately bought bluetooth headphones and I didn't know about P9 lite audio bluetooth issues. Is there any way to fix this annoying distortion or should I just use jack. I have my phone rooted and viper4android installed.
(I know there was a seperate thread about this problem, but i couldn't find a solution there)
Hi,
Controlling Music via Earphones is not working in my One Plus 6T.
Call receiving and rejecting is also not working.
I observed this issue after Android 10 update.
The Same headphones are working other phones. I tried with other earphones but the issue is same. Do we have fix or solution for this?
