I used almost every Custom ROM out there and I didn't have any option to enable video call directly . Every time it gives senseless reason like BATTERY IS TOO LOW {even the battery is 100 %} or call just simply disconnected.
please anyone give any satisfactory answer {if you know}.
or if anybody knows how to enable it please let us know in comments.

So, i don't know if this happens to everyone who has the I5800, but it happens to me since Eclair stock, and now that i flashed Kyrillos v3.0 extreme (froyo)... it happens too.
when a incoming call starts, the volume starts like a 30% for aprox. 1 sec, and after, increases the volume to the value that it's set in the system.
I have been reading the Galaxy S forums and this issue its a "feature" that samsung made...
so, one of the devs over the Galaxy S forums came up with a fix, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=759537, and seems to be functioning very well.
So, i ask, can anyone of the i5800 devs make such "fix"?
i don't know that if anyone else find this "feature" good or bad. but it will be nice to have the option to deactivate it.
Thanks!
I agree with you. It would be good to fix this. It is anoying.
Here! You can find the solution. Thanks to tgm28 and Kyrillos13!
Hello to any and all that might be reading this thread. Before I start off, allow me to say that I have attempted to search for a solution in other threads and I have found nothing. If any of you can find another thread doing so, please let me know
Anyways, my current issue is that during phone calls, I cannot hear the other person calling me. I can repeatedly speak and the person calling will be able to hear me but I am not able to hear them speak. In addition, I am able to make phone calls, but in the process of doing so, there is no dial tone and I cannot hear anything until I put the phone into speaker mode.
I originally thought it was perhaps an ROM issue, so I did the usual power down and battery pull and nothing occurred. I then proceeded to flash over my current ROM with the same zip (there hasn't been an update) and still nothing. If anybody can help me, it would great by appreciated.
I should also note that I am running Virtuous G-Lite 2.0.1 and have attempted to search for an solution in that particular thread before posting here. Thanks in advance!
if a full wipe and a flash of a stable rom won't fix this, then its a hardware faliure. chances are you need a new speaker
so either use headphone jack, speakerphone speaker, or replace the internal one

hello. i have a question maybe you may know the answer and maybe you can help me.
does the call quality and network signal has anything to do with the installed stock rom/custom rom ?
i tried few stock rom's and a friend of mine which i called after every install told me how it's the call quality, and when using a stock rom downloaded somewhere from web he told me that the call quality it's better than other times.
it this possible ? can a rom improve or degrade the call quality and network signal ? if so, how can i know which one is the best ? trust me, this problem is freaking me out so it became a major problem since i can't have a normal call because others can hear me very well and they hear echo aswell
thanks in advanced ^^
Different roms have got different qualities...
The ans of ur que depends on what roms u tried..
Btw if u are gonna ask me this question...
Then my ans is NO
**rooting is new for me...and i am noob to root...**

Yes you can to an extent if you flash a stock rom that isn't native to your region you would get poor signals it would constantly drop out you may not even be able to connect to hspda (know from experience) so in that capacity flashing a rom that is native to your region if you were on 1 that wasn't would improve call quality so since your question was if changing stock roms could improve our degrade call quality then yes it can to know which rom is native to your region check here

some custom roms may have the call bug...but as now i am using Jelly Blast v3.0.4 i am not having that problem...and i dont think that roms are responsible for call quality...may be there might be a signal prob...lolz
***See Kevev's excellent workaround to this problem in post#8 below***
I believe we need a thread dedicated to troubleshooting this problem. I know there are a very few others that touch on it but no one place to discuss possible solutions. Additionally it's quite hard to look for answers using google as thread titles don't specifically mention the issue. If mods think this does not warrant its own thread do as you must.
If you have T-Mobile paired with this device you know call quality sucks, and sometimes randomly. Personally I have had excellent to terrible call quality since the MM upgrade with Volte on. Choppiness on my end with some Roms, choppiness on the other end with other Roms. I don't use the phone feature too often on the phone so it has taken me quite a while to 'test' Roms looking for good call quality.
Yup Moto/Lenovo sux. I'm done with them. Gave the phone to my Mother with VoLTE disabled.
One thing to note for any Devs willing to look into the issue, it occures when using the earpiece. It does not happen when on speakerphone call and headphone call. When the issue happens pressing the power button to wake screen or pressing either volume button fixes the issue for a few seconds. My guess is this is a power management issue and maybe the bus speed for the audio system is too slow. I wonder if we can prevent sleep while in a call.
Maybe some can try this app?

I'll play around with that this weekend, thanks.
And as luck would have it I'm on 12/22 aicp with no calling issues after calling 2 people in a different area and one landline.. all without modifying any settings or running the wakelock script. So I'll run this rom over the holiday and see how call quality is. Good news certainly, we'll see how long it lasts. FWIW I always full erase and re-download apps
Make sure you test in known congested areas.
Anyone interested in testing my wakelock script on stock MM for MXPE please send me a PM. I am looking for users who regularly have VoLTE issues on T-Mobile or MetroPCS. The script does NOT require root. I don't want to post the script until I am sure it works. Also please don't share the script until it is released publicly. Thank You.
OK I am pretty sure the wake lock script works. My mother has been using it for 3 days and so far no choppy audio. The script will need to be imported into the Automate app. Start the script and set Automate to Run on startup so that the script is running after reboots. Also be sure to install Telephony permissions from within the Wakelock script screen in Automate. Good luck.

I can add my confirmation that Kevev's script works great. I don't use the phone much so it took a while to get a dozen or so calls that worked with the script.
This is definitely the best workaround for T-Mobile subscribers until Moto fixes (fingers crossed) the issue in nougat.
Awesome. Glad to know it works.
I flashed my phone with [AOSP][7.1.2][HLTE][Rev5][23-Aug-17]Resurrection Remix it all dandy, but how to disable auto answering call when connected to BT headset, when I get a call a prompt pop-ups asking to answer or dismiss if I didnt do anything it will auto answer the call, so I wanted to disable it
Thanks
Please ask in the ROM support thread, you will have a much better chance of obtaining your answer than starting a new thread. Also, use the search function first as somebody might have already experienced your problem and maybe found a fix.
search did not yield any result, I will try asking official rom then, but this also happen on kitkat stock rom for note3
