Hi. I have a doubt
My phone it the Leeco Pro X727 (USA version) and we got official update up to 5.8.021S. The Chinese version, the X720 got update up to 5.9.026s.
There are a lot of stock Rom for both Phones but the USA Stock 5.8.021S look newer than Chinese stock Rom 5.0.9.26S although chinese have higher numbers.
Security Patch on USA version (5.8.0.21S) its dated January 2017, on the (Higher) chinese rom its dated october 2016....
Also I could proof stock Camera on american 21S its faster and have better saturated colors than chinese 23s and 26s....
So, which is the most recent rom, the newer rom?
{Right now I back to 21s by Villarleg from 26S by Tora33. Because the battery and the phone warm a lot playing videos / Youtube / Gaming.}
Don't flash 26s it would be hard for you get root.
Custom ROMs are much better than stock!

Mmmm... I got 26s Lite and 26s by Tora33 and i had none problem with root. I back to 21s by villar leg because (in my opinion) 23s and 26s are rom compatible with x727 but work better in x720. The 21s by Villarleg is the official Stock update for X727 and for me work better, and the camera is faster than any another Rom.

5.8.21s is the latest firmware for LEX727.
It looks like Chinese just got a new update 5.9.28s? But I'm not sure.
Le Eco did just get a huge investment pumped into them, bringing the company back to life.

Its very weird, the last update for x727 (5.8.021S) look older than chineses Update (5.9.026S) but it (X727) security patch is more recent (1 January 2017).
that is my doubt. Which update was get launch first USA Update for X727 5.8.021S with Securty Path dated 1 January 2017, or Chinese Update for X720 5.9.026S con older Security Patch dated October 2016????

Well I was reading a little bit, now I think got it.
Update 5.8.021S was the last for USA Leeco Pro X727, release on February 2017, with security Patch dated January 2017.
Updated 5.9.023S and 5.9.026S for Chinese version X720, are from April-June 2017 but it Security Patch its older, dated October 2016 (weird isn't)
Anyway I tested 19s stock for X727, 21S by Villarleg that is the USA update modif. For both (x727 and X720).... Also the 23S by Mauro for X720 but work on x727, 26s lite and 26S by Tora... In my opinion, the best for X727 its 21S by Villarleg.... Has the better Camera like 26S by Tora, but had better battery and there is not trouble with Google Play service.
I have tried them all and the best one my option is aosip 8.1.

Mmmm.... How about the Camera and Sound? I fear to try custom Rom because from Nougat, almost there's not Rom "perfect" in any device, mainly about the camera and sound.
I love leeco's camera quality and the sound... Do you think I should to try it? Link?

The only thing that makes sense right now if you value our HiFi audio is a stock based Rom.
I was on LineageOS first, then decided that I bought this phone for the sound and switched to Stock B15 US Edition (on my G device). Their software unfortunately lags a lot, so I switched back to B10 European software and now I am on the official Stock Nougat B01 G Version

I know right...turns out it won't restore my backup of the B15 week I had... luckily I store much on my SDCard
I have this phone (X820) about 6 months, the FP was dead 1-2 weeks after I got it, tried to set up on other rom but didn't work. I been flashed various rom on it, last rom I was running for long time was Tora33 stock Eui 5.9.023S rom.
I decided to flash latest stock rom 5.9.26S (LE_X2_X820-CN-FN-FEXCNFN5902604241S-5.9.026S.zip size 1.5Gb), and the next day I was on this rom tried to set up the screen lock and tried FP, and it came back from the dead somehow. I setup 3 fingerprint it all works fine, speed is not the fastest but hey it's working.
Sort of same worked for me also. Was sure that IT was a software prob and not a hardware one some people where sure it was. But it definitly is not a hardware problem
Mine works perfectly fast and five vinger option.
Heyyo, for custom non EUI ROMs you must update the modem firmware is all you need to do.
Most people recommend 466D or Chinese 26s modem firmware.
I know it sounds odd but yes the modem firmware does affect the fingerprint reader when the device is asleep.
I use Chinese 26s 05.09 from here

Download a zip and flash it via TWRP. Don't need to reflash the custom ROM just wipe dalvik and cache.
Hi ThE_MarD, between Canadian I own the Le Max 2, change the sellers rom to have the system updates to stock 5.8.16S than install the update 5.8.19S and notice that the fingerprint unlock is slower, can you flash one of these as an update on stock or really need TWRP and it's for custom rom only (not installed on mine). Can the 26S be installed or flash on the 19S? merci.

I've been experiencing alot of battery issues in Pixel Experience and thought about changing back to the orignal MIUI Global ROM.
what i need to confirm is:
Can i just flash the file i downloaded from the official site using orangefox recovery? The same Wipe data, cache, dalvik, system. Then flash method?
Can i flash magisk (root it) and still get Offical xiaomi OTA Updates?
If you want to use a stock ROM then why not xiaomi.eu?
coz xiaomi.eu is not on the latest update.
and i want Latest OTA updates

What? No, dude you're just wrong about it, but before I go on, if you want, yes there is a Global Stock Zip that you can flash from any custom recovery and you can flash Magisk after.
About xiaomi.eu yes they have an OTA update and yes they are on the latest version available, both the stable and beta version, as matter of fact they are already on Miui 11 while the global Stock still the Miui 10 version 10.3.4 iirc.

No! After you replied I went ahead and checked the right versions.
What I'm saying is that xiaomi.eu is always up to date with the official release.
Now after that where do you even found that ROM (10.3.12)? Are you sure that's that is the right ROM for lavender? If you flash a firmware designed for another phone you will hard brick your device.
Here is the official stock ROM and still V10.3.10.0.PFGMIXM (MIUI10)

My xiaomi redmi note 7 device is currently running Android 11 Lineage OS 18.1, and I've been facing an issue in which the phone just freezes randomly, and I'm unable to use it until I force a restart. I faced a similar issue when I was using Cherish OS A12 but it was less frequent. Does anyone have an idea on what the problem could be or how to fix it?
One day something similar happened to me, I recommend you flashing the original firmware of the Redmi Note 7, you can download it from mi community.

UPDATE
I have since flashed the latest firmware and the issue still persists. I also flashed the fastboot ROM of the device to have a fresh start per se, but the issue still returns when I install a custom ROM. Currently on Project Arcana OS, and it's still happening. I have decided to use the ROM without Magisk, because it seems to be the only thing I haven't tried yet, and there haven't been any freezes for almost 24 hours now. I will update this if it happens again.
