Enforcing selinux on Oreo ROMs

Hello,
system crashed after trying to set selinux to enforcing and after some searching on forum I found out that no Oreo ROM has enforcing selinux because policies aren't written yet. So I would like to know if somebody is working on these policies and if enforcing selinux will be possible in future.

You can set selinux to enforcing in unofficial crDroidAndroid by difr, you have to set it manually though as default is permissive.

Well I prefer Resurrection Remix much more, but I will try to build it with difr's device/kernel/vendor sources.

Shox Extreme Requirements

I really agree that the latest version of Shox Extreme v3.7 @PrasadSable is really a game changer for sound on the Z2 Plus.
But many are asking about it's compatibility as Dolby is currently not working in Treble Roms.
Thus flashing the Shox mod will totally disable audio input and output unless...
You install Audio Modification Library from Magisk Repository.
It is universally compatible with all Oreo Roms irrespective of being Treble or not.
Thus once you install this in magisk, you get the mod running on both speakers with enhanced loudness.
Tested on all Treble ROMs by myself.
You can adjust the quality with the default audiofx too. Dolby would not be necessary.
I hope I could help.

Audio Modding on the LG K20 Plus

Hello guys, so the story is I just loaded the Viper4Android Magisk Module onto my K20 Plus, and it sounds really neat. However, I now want to try out A.R.I.S.E Sound Systems on this device, and I am wondering what's the best configuration I could perhaps use on A.R.I.S.E for this device.
use this insead https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/soundmod-ainur-audio-t3450516
ARISE has a lot of useless bloat.
I am using Magisk with the following modules and it sounds amazing...practically on par with my old OnePlus 5T.
-03/17 release of Ainur Sauron (which is the last version to allow qualcomm vendor patching)
-V4A by ahrion
-Audio Compatibility Patch (to allow processing with streaming apps)
-Audio Modification Library
All of these are created by the same guys and designed to be used together. Flash them in the order listed and you will be in business and Viper will process for everything.

[SM-J500FN] Disable SMS-to-MMS Conversion

Hello everyone.
I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 SM-J500FN, on which TWRP recovery, and subsequently Magisk v17.1 have been successfully flashed.
Is there a flashable mod, or a Magisk module that allows the SMS-to-MMS conversion to be disabled?
:fingers-crossed:
I await your valuable replies.
Hello everyone.
Having successfully flashed Magisk v17.1 on a Samsung Galaxy J5 SM-J500FN, I would like to know if there is a mod or a Magisk module I can flash or install, on the device running stock firmware (Android 6.0.1 - Marshmallow), that will aid in disabling the SMS-to-MMS conversion?
:fingers-crossed:
As usual, I await your valuable replies.

ok so you have magisk.
Next is to install xposed magisk module from here https://forum-xda--developers-com.c...errer=https://www.google.com&amp_tf=From %1$s
Then go into xposed and download and install this module https://repo.xposed.info/module/uk.co.villainrom.pulser.allowlongsms
That should do it

@garylawwd, thank you very much for the apt suggestion; I have installed the Xposed Framework version 87.1 by @wanam and subsequently the Disable SMS to MMS Conversion module by @pulser_g2, which appears as AllowLongSMS within the Modules section of the Xposed Installer 3.1.5 app.
:good:
However, using the stock Messaging app, when I compose a text message exceeding 4 SMSs, it gets converted to an MMS; how do I utilise the aforementioned module?
Pardon my naivety.

Riru EdXposed Experience on H990DS Oreo

Hi, does anyone have been using Magisk Module Riru Edxposed on their H990DS Oreo? How's the experience? I found a thread in reddit who share that their system became lagging after installing this magisk module. Anyone care to share the experience? Much appreciated. Thanks!
I have been using it on the US996 stock Oreo, I doubt there are many differences between the variants.
I did use much earlier versions of EdXposed that seemed to have lag issues that caused me to go back to the original Xposed.
Current versions seems to be OK thought with the added benefit of SafetyNet passing.
Keep in mind that I am currently using the beta Magisk (21.0), 21.1 caused bootloops, with the Canary version of EdXposed.
I have also used EdXposed with the stable Magisk 20.0 with no issues other than SafetyNet was harder to pass.
Beta Magisk 21.x needs plugins to be updated for it, only the Canary versions work for it as far as I know, the versions available in the Magisk repository are not compatible, they throw up errors during install.
Some updates.
I tried the very latest Canary and Alphas (0.5.1.3_xxxx) and had issues with random restarts.
The 0.5.0.6_xxxx versions are much more stable, I would stick with those for the time being.
