Hi
I know it's not the problem of Oneplus team, but just Google Phone issue with
not wake up the screen on incoming calls with bluetooth headset connected.
Sow ... if you are on latest Google Phone app version 15.0.179075669 and you use bluetooth headset connected to the phone,
when receive a call and the phone is in sleep mode, screen won't wake'up and you don't see who's calling.
Guide how to resolve (partialy):
- download from www.apkmirror.com Google Phone version: 14.0.17616531 (nodpi, arm64) and replace'it under /system/priv-app/GoogleDialer/
- chmod to rw-r-r
- reboot to recovery and clear cache and dalvik-cache
- stop in google play to auto-update apps until Google resolve this problem
-done

Hey Guys,
I've been having a strange issue occur pretty often where when I first setup my device, opening S Voice would automatically have it listening and have feedback when I gave commands. But now if I open S Voice feedback is disabled and it is not listening with the Mic blue until I say Hi Galaxy again. If I enable feedback and close the app or restart the phone, feedback is disabled again. Any thoughts? Thanks,
Nila
same for me.. listening in
Bump, any thoughts with S Voice? I know Google has it's advantages but I rather like the setting appointments, alarms, blue tooth and wifi status from the road
Nila.
Problem with Google is, if you have system language set to swedish is rather useless. Even though it listens to English spoken commands it only runs a Google search. If I set it to English I can't dictate swedish to it at all. S voice at least works

Now it is comfirmed at least, checked my old S3 and it does indeed listen automaticly when prompting.

I'm having the same problem. Anyone have any idea?
Solved
The Instruction will be little bit weird, but I solved this problem by myself.
try below thing
1 - use Odin to reinstall stock rom and on the language setup page tun off the phone and again install stock rom 1 more time.
If it doesn't work
This is what i did
download odin3_v3.09
download cm-11-20140623-NIGHTLY-hlte.zip
N900VVRUCNC4_N900VVZWCNC4_VZW.zip
VZW-N900VVRUCNC4-20140512165349.zip
2 stock roms, googling those thing and
turn off - volume up key + home key + power button - wipe factory mode.
update cm-11-20140623-NIGHTLY-hlte.zip before restart.
and turn off go download mode volume down +home+ power after screen on voluem up key to continue
install N900VVRUCNC4_N900VVZWCNC4_VZW.zip by odin
restart on language setup screen turn off the phone
and reinstall VZW-N900VVRUCNC4-20140512165349.zip
if it doesn't work do it again.
i did 3 times this and got it s voice auto listening.
I hope it works for u.
Randomly when I make calls or receive calls I have no sound. I can't hear them and they can't hear me. Rebooting the phone will fix the issue for a short while. I have been able to reproduce this by connecting to my cars blue tooth and making a call. The 1st call works however all calls after the first call I have no sound again. When the phone in the no sound state (Phone Call) Bluetooth media still works just no sound while in a call. The speakers work because I can play music and the mic still works because I can still record sound. This issue seams to be related to the phone app its self???
My phone is a Samsung S4 (AT&T) with Android 4.4.2 (Rooted via Towelroot) with SuperSU by chain-fire installed.
Here is some of the trouble shooting I have already done.
1. Factory Rest the Phone via Stock Recovery (Still can reproduce the issue)
2. Played around with various settings i.e. Google Now Bluetooth options. Un-paired all Bluetooth devices and then re-paired one to try (Still having same issue)
3. Cleaned out all app cache (Still having same issue)
4. Re-installed pre-installed apps that I removed once rooted.
Long story short, this one has be baffled. The only thing that fixes the issue is re-starting the phone.
Thanks in advance for any assistance

Same Problem Here, I may have figured it out:
After I rooted I used some apps to auto kill some running, supposedly non-essential apps. This caused my phone call problems, same exact issue as you're having. A reboot fixed it for me as well. I will let you know if it happens again without closing any apps.......
Hi,
My Safestrap rooted phone started having call audio problems soon or immediately after upgrading from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 (I337UCUFNJ4 ATT stock rooted ROM). I also installed Wanam Xposed and DroidWall and a few other utilities at the time. I since disabled Wanam Xposed in the framework. I finally figured out how to duplicate the problem reliably:
1. Reboot phone to start from known state. NOTE: failure even happens in Safe Mode!
2. Connect to bluetooth car stereo or Motorola earpiece (Media and Phone)
3. Make a call and everything works normally. Hang up.
4. Make or receive a second call. There is no audio in either direction. However, if I press a number key, I can hear a beep over the bluetooth and the other end hears a tone.
• I have not been able to find any way to get the Phone audio to start working again without rebooting. (ex: I turn bluetooth off and there is still no Phone audio.)
• Turning cellular radio off/on doesn't bring audio back.
• Media audio apps like Music player continue to work.
• It appears I can make calls all day long without bluetooth.
• "OK Google" detection often quits working, but in my short test above it seems to keep working even though Phone audio is not. I'm not 100% sure this is related.
Anybody know what's going on or have debugging suggestions?
Nevermind for now
I bricked my phone trying to restore a Safestrap backup, so for now I've reverted back to 4.4.2. My battery life was horrible in 4.4.4 anyway.
I had the same problem. Go to Google app , menu, settings, voice, ok google detection, turn off from any screen.
Hello.
- Until mid-November LOS update, I had my car stereo connected via BT (phone, multimedia, contacts - all at once). Through Android Auto I used to make phone calls, listen spotify, listen to whatsapp incoming message (and reply); all of this through voice commands ("ok google, do-this-do-that...")
- After mid-November LOS update (week more or week less), every time I tried to give a vocal command, the car stereo and the phone got stuck, with the google assistant 4 dots that were rotating waiting for something. Same thing if i tried to play a whatsapp message (however the message was not read through the BT). In both cases after a minute being stuck, the phone rebooted itself (quick reboot, for the ones using the reboot extended menu).
- After some tests, I see that I can't use anymore BT "multimedia" and BT "phone" together, or I get the above malfunctioning.
- The problem is not Android Auto (I reproduced the issue also with "standard" launcher). The issue persists also if rebooting in safe mode.
- I did a couple of factory resets (wiped everything, also internal storage).
Googling, I found many BT problems with Android, but not this one. Has anyone suffered this issue (or is suffering even now), even on other phones or with other Android versions? Any solutions?
Thanks.
Hello,
I'm trying to help a friend with her problem on Samsung A9. whenever she is playing voice messages sent to her on whatsapp over bluetooth, they play fine as long as the screen is on. the minute the screen goes off, the voice recording starts to stutter. the minute you turn the screen on and unlock the phone, it plays fine again. the problem occurs only via bluetooth & only whatsapp voice recordings. playing songs on google play music are ok when screen is off, it's only whatsapp recordings over bluetooth when the screen is off. recently the phone was updated to pie & I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this problem.
I have tried:
unpairing and repairing bluetooth
Trying another bluetooth ear piece
Clear Bluetooth cache
Reset Wifi & bluetooth settings
Remove Whatsapp & bluetooth from battery optimization & allow background activity
Turn off wifi & bluetooth scanning
No power saving enabled
Clear partition cache
In developer options tried changing AVRCP version annd codecs
reinstalling whatsapp which solves the problem for a short while & it comes back
Even tried going to Safe mode to see if it happens there as well but all 3rd party apps like whatsapp are not working there so couldn't test.
a regular recording that was sent to her via whatsapp (a phone call recording attached as a file in whatsapp) was playing just fine on bluetooth when the screen was off, it's only an issue with the built in voice recordings in whatsapp. whatsapp is updated to the latest version and the phone was upgraded to pie. would appreciate any help.
i have the same issue. Curious about a solution!
