Mysterious Power Issue - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

X727
First off, all the ROMs I try I clean install. Currently on Resurrection Remix with Black Screen Kernel
No matter what ROM I try, my phone seems to go from 50% charge, to 0% charge randomly. Sometimes, it won't charge.
I've tried different adapters, different cables, etc.
Charged the phone before I went to bed last night, wake up with 0% battery. It didn't charge.
What else could this be? I'm trying to avoid getting a new phone, but idk what else to do.

Battery issue likely.

Ordering a new Anker Cable. Using an Aukey cable at the moment.
The performance just tanks when all this power stuff is happening too. Know of where I can order a genuine or better than OE battery for this relatively cheap?

You can see the instant tanks of battery life.

Personally I would go back to stock and return if you can.
Because it could be hardware.

What exactly is a QFL ROM? Looks like it could really **** my phone up if I don't use the right file, or do something wrong.

There are a lot of files in the main ROM that if your files are corrupted your phone is having trouble, then everything should be restarted again and the phone flashed with full ROM.

I agree with effortless ^^^
Edit:
I agree with bs828 as well vvv
maybe he means cant turn on. no download mode, no emergency mode no nothing like what happened to me
take the case apart inside where the sd connects to the main board there are two batteries remove the board holding them leave the whole thing disassembled over night
next put it back together and plug in usb
leaving it over night has erased all its memory and the computer can see a device doesnt know what it is but its there
now reboot (pul out usb and bat)
plug back in as soon as you see it reading the device quickly catch it and run the kdz
after kdz is complete there is a boot bug (atleast when i went through this) so no screen untill completly loaded
once this is done look at fishears tutorial on how to fix the boot bug issue
hope this helps it worked for me and if its bricked what have you got to loose atleast thats what i had to keep in mind as i ripped my mates apart
also good chance to clean contacts etc

It actually is working very well. Includes a new CWM 5.5.something...lol.
Messaging app sucks...no dark option.
I so want to flash this, but I need my phone to work and the bug list is long and distinguished.
I can only imagine the progress they can make in a few weeks, then when all you die hards get all the problems worked out, then I pounce!

Face unlock is working pretty well. Got to be in a well-lit room though. But from m experience, it's working. It might not recognize your face sometimes. Try it for yourself. qbking77 also had a video on YouTube showing the face unlock feature on the Epic 4G.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iM4upoE1CtQ&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
I flashed it and face unlock is there. cant comment on how well it works because im in a darker room but i love it. I dont really want to go back to CM7. ahh why do i have to choose. :-(
Update: I've noticed it gets used to the charger and the heat goes away once the battery is at a higher percentage

Same experience. I was playing around while it was charging and it was hot. Checked the battery temp it was 102.5 or something. Put it down for about a half hour and checked the temp again and it was right around 90. And the battery was about 80%.
Why did the thread get temporarily closed?
Edit: Nvm, I worry too much.

You don't say?
make your battery last longer by simply cutting the apps off when your not using them and change loads of your settings like the screen display the weather and clock app its not hard unless your brain dead.

Surely there are plenty of other medical conditions other than brain dead that may cause the difficulty.

You should actually keep the phone in your pocket and never take it out. That'll more than triple your battery life.
To save battery life , I'd underclock dual core phones

I don't know about you guys but I thought that the first post was witty and funny! You hear people complaining all the time and pestering others about how to increase battery life. This solution is the best one for those type of people!
I thought it was funny too :good:
Well I know how to make your battery last indefinitely...
Switch it off and never switch it back on.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Also you can take a knife, and cut the processor in half to get eight cores instead of four.
Keeping it in your pocket won't do anything for your battery life........
Oh the controversy. You can please some people sometimes, but you can't please some others half the time... No wait a minute... TBC
lol
Good joke tho
I've taken your advice and kept 5 of them in my pockets all week but my battery still dies after 14hrs of use???
Can anyone help?

Broken Andy with Warning Logo Error Screen?

Has anybody seen an error screen with Andy laying down and broken with lightning coming out of him? Also with a red warning triangle?
My coworker had her Nexus 7 plugged into her computer to charge and she said this screen came up. She went to using a wall charger, and there's no problem. She's not tech savvy and I wasn't around to witness it, so I don't know if these details are correct, but I couldn't find any info on it via searching Google or XDA.
That's the stock recovery mode screen. Not sure how you'd get to that unless the phone crashed and you somehow got into bootloader and launched recovery though....
Do you have an image, so that I can confirm with her that's what it is? Maybe she was pushing random buttons and somehow got into it... I really don't know.
Something like this?

Just tell her to hold the power button for about ten seconds and it will turn off and turn on again. I've used that method about three times already. Hope this helps

Pretty reasonable. Thank god I pretty much turn off all non necessary Samsung apps because that's just how Samsung rolls lol
