Hello, few days ago for the first time I became an owner of chinese phone and it is a Le Eco Le Pro 3 x722, and so far, everything is fine but I have a problem with keyboard.
I would like to install additional german or croatian keyboards, but I can`t find how. I believe it`s connected with regions I can choose from, and there are only few like Russia, Hong Kong, China, USA and 2 or 3 more. I can choose language and I do set it as Croatian or German but what I miss are some special characters on keyboard when writing SMS, and I'm still stick with chinese pinyin and english.
I tried to install Google`s Gboard, and it works but then I don`t have a text-to-speech option for SMS writing.
Is there something I am missing or there is simply no option to choose other then those few keyboard layouts?
EUI version is 5.8.020s, and the phone was ordered from Banggood if it means something.
Thank you in advance

Smart Keyboard has worldwide language packs and some very nice retro themes. Plus, the click vibration is so pleasant I immediately bought it after installing the trial. The last update was in 2017 but I would swear by how sweet this keyboard is. if you want something more modern, with world language and probably the most colorful and dynamic keys you have ever seen then I would recommend Chrooma keyboard. Although I also own the pro version of Chrooma keyboard, I prefer the Smart keyboard, it just feels more natural and the calibration is perfect.

Hello.
My HTC HD2 only recognises Chinese handwriting, and not English. I went on the settings but I can only chose between Chinese Traditional and Simplified.
Is there anyway I can delete the Chinese Langauge Pack and put the English one on?
Starting to think my HTC HD Has a Chinese ROM on it, could that be possible.
I have CE OS 5.2.21869 (Build 21869.5.0.82)
Also when i turn the phone on, The writing right at the bottom says :
1.48 71284
Everything else is in English though, just the handwriting recognition there is no English for it.
See I don't want to go through the trouble of flashing to a English ROM so is there any files that I can modify to make the handwriting in English?
Regards.
yeah i have this same problem, but mine is an import from hong kong, so would explain why its like that, but i was also wondering how to change it to english handwriting?
Yeah it's a shame.
Anybody know ?
Will anyone here like to trade with me? I have the Tmobile version, and i want the hand write in chinese. Please PM me
English Handwriting
Hi, i got a hong kong htc hd2 import (simply electronics) and i have the same problem, the only handwriting options are for chinese
Also i have to say, the keyboard for the chinese language (when you press the chinese button on the english qwerty keyboard it looks like an iphone keyboard) looks much better than the htc english one, is there any way to change this?
After i try it for few hours, i give up. It is way too slow than the iphone. I return it back and turn back my iphone. I believe I will stay on the iphone...... unless one day they make a better phone.
HI! My Aria only has English, French, and Spanish. I want to be able to type in Russian as well. A guy here at work has an HTC with Verizon, and he has lots of language choices. How do you add languages to the Aria?? I tried a third party app but it didn't work. I would like Russian. Thanks!
You need an "input method" that supports keyboard layout switching. The stock Sense keyboard that comes with Aria doesn't allow for that.
But there is a whole bunch of multi-lingual keyboard apps in the market; some a free, and some are not. I like Smartk Keyboard Pro. It costs 2 EUR, but it's the best out there. It After installing it you'll need to download Russian keyboard layout for it, which is free.
Try to search "MoreLocale" in market.

99.99% work east asian fonts support (incl. chinese, japanese & korean) and locale
hi friends,
i've made a cab to view chinese, japanese and korean for windows mobile (tested on my Xperia X2 WM6.5.3 and should be working fine with other versions). just install the <East Asian Fonts Support.cab> and do a soft reset. if you want to input chinese, i suggest using baidu input, plumsip or qq pinyin.
if you face difficulties in reading emails and browsing using ie, you may also need to install <Reloadnls.cab> to have the necessary code pages. ce star is using old wince.nls so please do NOT use ce star for your device or you will brick it. since wm6.5.3, the codes pages are no longer saved in registry but in wince.nls. the wince.nls is extracted from a taiwan rom (wm6.5.3) of x2.
please remember to do a full backup before installing the cabs!!
by the way does anyone have the latest wm6.5 rom for Xperia X2? many thanks!
for any issues or problems please feel free to let me know.
Thanks, good work.
great job, thx
Thanks. Hopefully this work for me too!
thanx a lot man..

in this case you need to choose the correct coding (e.g. unicode, BIG5, etc) for the email message, or the messages contain wrong coding which cannot be displayed correctly.
Any chance for a japanese language pack?
great job, thx

it supposes to be able to display Japanese.
my device shows Japanese correctly.
I am able to use these on my touch pro 2 with customized ROMS. It works very well until I tried to input Chinese. For all the Chinese input methods I tried, the menu of the input methods display blocks. Do you know a solution to this problem?
great works! thanks!
going to try now, look promising
you scared me. i installed CE Star (including pinyin input method) after flashing a 6.5.3 rom, and it displays chinese fonts correctly in IE, Opera, Outlook, AlReader, etc. But some fonts in S2P are messed up. But no way it would brick my Samsung Omnia2.
hi,
I installed your .cad but i faced two things:
1 - Using Opera 9.7 and i can't view japanese in google search result page, but i can view japanese when click on the link and go to target page.i do not know why
2 - Using Ressco keyboard pro 6.0, setting up second language is japanese, switch to japan keyboard and only square with a question mark within of the keypad showed up.
please help me get through this.
Thanks
Thank you for doing such a good font for us!
thank a lot ...
Can use in WM6.1 ?
I will be try for HTC Touch Daimond2.
It works pretty good!
I have searched this for quite a while, thanks for shareing.
Thank you
I've been looking for something like this. My OmniaII originally came from Hong Kong, but after I flashed it with Energy/MS Team ROMs, I lost support for east asian languages. Loading Meiryo fonts didn't help (primarily need Japanese support) much and worked very randomly. I'll give your method a try
By the way, do you know a good ime for Japanese? I've used ookii's, but I don't always have my stylus and sometimes I don't remember a kanji ^^'
I've tried CE-Star 2.8R3C, but it broke more than it fixed D: Thank god you try their software before you buy
Isn't it possible to rip the IME from a Japanese Windows Mobile 6.5(.3) unit? Something like the one used on Toshiba's or Samsung Omnia I, which actually got a Japanese version?
Great jobs!
Thanks for the apps!
Hi all,
Proud owner of an unlocked Dell Venue Pro 16GB here. I love the look of the Chinese language in Windows Phone 7, and I'd like to give it a try, however the phone only includes English (US), and Mango was supposed to add Asian Language features. Can someone help me activate them?
Thanks,

OK,done it!!!
There is a list of all the language files on the hacking forums. Find them and install them via the cab updater.
