I'm curious to know as I saw that Linux will soon have a 3.0 kernel from 2.6.39...
The Glitch V11 kernel for the Galaxy S series is running Kernel 2.6.35
Would we be seeing something from a newer Linux kernel on our phones?
Do our phones run a different version of the linux kernel? God I wish I knew what the clear difference was!!

Stock Rom unrooted, get 4 to 5 hours of SOT. Great performance But the WiFi disconnects during sleep are driving me nuts. Time to flash again.

Which MaxxAudio are you running? As I can see many are having issue with it.

I have a custom install zip I put together from a couple sources. I've only tested it on this build of 6.0 but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work on others. The only problem I have currently is the fact that it doesn't recognize when headsets or Bluetooth speakers are connected so it defaults to the speaker profile no matter what. Otherwise it works perfectly, and I've got a pretty killer sound profile going on it.

Yes, it doesn't recognize headsets. That's a major bug.

Rom: Cloudy G3 v3.3
kernel: dorimanx
Rom: Resurection remix
kernel: sweet lamba
Rom : cynaogen v12.1 ( more stable than cm13)
You are going to get as many different opinions as there are users.
For me AICP stock Kernel gives up to 9hours SOT and/or up to 3 days battery life.
Sonedays can be 5hours SOT and 1 day.
I'm thinking about flashing a modded kernel on my s3 neo to improve performances and battery life
I found in the forum some kernels for stock and i saw the most populars and updated are the Sev3n Kernel and the STOCK v.3.7 UBERT gcc
I'm looking for something for everyday use and that everything works.
Could you help me on choosing pleeeease? ^_^
Sev3n Kernel bro
But i recomand you cm 12,is good, nice battery life and no bugs
Hmm maybe I'll try cm 12 too, the only thing that i don't like is the nfc support missing .-.
I use Renix kernel v3.7 zram,Seven good too, but it have overheating problem in heavy apps.
Hello, which kernel do you recommend for Pixel Experience ROM official with overclocking CPU/GPU feature? I tried eXtreme kernel 12.1 but after that I was not able to connect my device to PC, it does not recognize device. Before I use eXtreme 12.0 kernel on unofficial Pixel Experience ROM and I did not have this problem so I do not know whether it is problem of kernel or not. Thank you for help.
Moun Kernel is the best I think. It is stable, have a bunch of cool features and also has OC to 2.2ghz. Definitely worth to try.
Try extreme kernel v13 beta (keep in mind that it'll only work with roms based on linux 4.9)
