Blank and white navigation bar everytime i pull up keyboard - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

This has only been around for a couple of hours, but it seems that everytime i open up my keyboard (either swiftkey or stock) on my galaxy s8, the navigation bar turns into a blank white space. I didn't tamper with any settings prior to this, it just appeared out of the blue, which seemed unusual. The buttons still work as they are supposed to but its just a really annoying thing that i wish to get rid of. Do note that I am using navbar apps and it didn't make a difference if i uninstalled it or not. Any fixes?

try to reflash
Thanks! but how exactly do i reflash? i just learned how to do all of this maybe 2 days ago so i'm still really new to everything.
Did you install any lock-screen apps? I noticed that when I installed those, sometimes my notification bar would get stuck.
On the other hand, you can reflash by reinstalling Cyanogens rom.

[Q] X 2.2 official Issue: Bottom dock bar not working correctly

I noticed this issue after froyo and numerous fresh restarts.
The bottom dock bar of the x(philblur/motoblur) is not working properly. Usually when you switch screens the home button, phone button, and contacts button, slide down and another bar replaces it(the one with the dots representing which number screen you are on). Now what it does is that that the innitial bar never goes away and the screen bar just goes over the first bar and you can see the 1st bar in the backround. This especially looks odd when you go to delete an icon or widget because the trash can just sits on top of the little triangle icon which brings up your apps. Anyone else have this issue and know what the cause or fix is?

On-screen navigation keys acting strangly

Has anyone had any weirdness occur with the on-screen navigation keys? I got the OTA update, and nova launcher now turns the background of the soft keys to black, rather than being transparent like on the stock launcher. When I open the camera app, the keys flicker a bit, and occasionally in Chrome, the color splits down the middle lengthwise, between black and completely opaque gray, of all things. The last is particularly alarming, since third party launchers are one thing (although that never occurred before the update), and cameras can be funky, but chrome is a system app. Has anyone else experienced this? Or have any idea what to do to fix it?
Let me add, not rooted!

Second screen tied to notification drawer

For years I have hidden the notification drawer on the top of the screen, most of the info there is duplicated in my widgets, and I just don't like the clutter. However with the V20, hiding the notification drawer also turns off my second screen...which then gets rid of one of the marquee features of this phone.
I've tried on multiple launchers (Nova and Next), and the same result. I've tried permanently hiding it, and using gestures to toggle on and off.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Any rooted users know if this is a problem after root? This one little problem annoys me to no end.
Thanks a lot.
I'm on a non-rooted Verizon V20.
There is a setting that might help that allows it to be active when the display is in fullscreen mode. It's meant for videos so it might not have full functionality.
I'm rooted and I get the same thing. I use Nova and the "toggle notification bar" shuts the second screen off along with the notification bar. I don't know why they're tied together like that, it's annoying...
The second screen's "show time while content is shown" option will leave it on with the notification bar toggled off, but it doesn't do anything, it just shows time and notifications up there. You can't scroll it to get to anything.
