Well a couple days ago I decided to try out amona Ra Recovery. I don't know what happened but after I installed it and tried to flash a rom my tablet would not boot. So I said no big deal. Ill just wipe and flash again. Well now everytime I try to do anything like restore a backup or wipe data(even mount the data partition) I get an "cant mount /Data" error. Same with the internal sd. I cant mount that either. I can mount the system and flexrom and just about everything else. So I then loaded thor's touch CWM recovery as well as the standard cwm recovery and still a no go. Can not mount the data or sdcard partition. So I then decided to try and flash thors ICS rom. When I did it would boot but it gets to a screen that say encryption failed and I need to do a factory reset. I never set it up to encrypt by the way. But I cant factory reset due to the fact that I cant mount the data partition. Hope I gave enough info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ill probaly donate to the person who can help me. Thanks in advance
EDIT: Also if anyone may happen to have a copy of the acer unbrick Update.zip that would be greatly appreciated. All the links I find go to megaupload.com which I'm sure everyone knows by now is shut down. Thanks again
Go to the RA Recovery thread .. There is a link in the OP Post about that specific issue.
if you cant find it Post in there your problem and how you got to where it happened.. He will help you
thanks for the reply. I will try that

try this...
I'm using a Asus Zenfone 5 LTE T00P (A500KL) that has been upgraded to the latest official 5.0 ROM for a few months. Phone has not been rooted & is completely stock.
Suddenly out of the blue today, a series of forced stop error messages started appearing and I was unable to cancel all of them without rebooting the phone.
I decided to reboot into the recovery mode and that's when I saw a string of error messages that the cache partition cannot be mounted.
I have not seen this before previously.
Even when I tried to clear the cache partition, the same error message appears.
Is there a way to recover from this error without factory resetting the whole device?
I have not backed up all the data since upgrading so I'm somewhat hesitant to proceed with the FR.
I have been able to run a ADB Backup but I'm not sure if the backup.ab would be useful after the FR.
Any advise from anyone familiar with this situation?
Try to flash the actual ROM again, it shouldn't erase anything but it could help.
have you fixed this issue?
I can not flash anything in my phone anymore
Hi All , So recently ive been out of a phone and my cousin was nice enough to give me a broken android which he said , If i can repair it i can keep it . So i think its easy enough to fix its just a boot loop ill just flash CM As it has TWRP Already
Not So easy... I go to TWRP with some ROM's Pre-Downloaded onto a SD Card and go to flash them when i notice when i try selecting a partintion it says 0mb , Think maybe its just a weired temp bug and flash or atleast try to flash a new rom and keep on saying the same sadly
E; Unable to Mount Data
E; Unable to Mount System
E; Unable to Mount Cache This has been going for about a few weeks now with no avail and think this would be a nice forum to ask for some help , Other things to add are...
When its on normal boot its a boot loop
When i try using RSD To Flash Stock its still on the CM 13 Boot Logo loop
I also tried Upgrading the TWRP Version and Flashing CWM But still no luck
Any and all help is apreciated thank you all !!!
Anybody!!!?
So apologies is this is done to death, but I've screwed something up.
My phone is rooted/unlocked and I had twrp installed.
I tried to install a lineageos rom but it didnt work, and it would get stuck booting.
I can still get into fastboot and twrp, but I don't know what to do from there. I have tried install the stock recovery and then installing the stock emui rom but it doesn't seem to be working, and I can't seem to find a thorough walkthrough of what I need to do.
I have the Japanese version of the phone (WAS-LX2J) if that helps.
So I can force into TWRP using adb reboot recovery
When I get into TWRP the UI is all red - it used to be blue? I might have just installed a different version but seems strange to have gone red now.
Whenever I try to wipe data, or format data, I get a bunch of errors:
unable to recreate /data/media folder
unable to mount storage
unable to mount /data/media/twrp/.twrps
unable to open '/dev/block/dm-0' to wipe crypto key
etc
I am also unable to repair, resize or change the file system apparently.
Okay I reinstalled twrp (from here) and that problem seems to be solved. (in red)
I would basically just like to restore my phone to factory but I don't know how, any help would be hugely appreciated.
I can provide any more info if required, I just dont have a way to screenshot my phone atm
