I will try to keep this short and simple.
In July I ordered the bogo s8+ from Samsung. The wife's came first but didn't work right out of the box(wouldn't stay connected to the cell towers). After talking to tmobile and Samsung tech support Samsung told me to send the phone back to. They gave me a label and I sent it back.
Here is where everything goes to ****.
Ups takes my phone in early august and it disappears. No tracking. For the first 2 weeks in August I was arguing with Samsung and ups and getting nowwhere. Then all of sudden I get an email from Samsung in the middle of august with a refund confirmation for 850. I never get the refund. And no one can figure out where the email came from. I have talked to e-commerce department tons of times and i have been told 3 times that the refund will be given on Friday. It never happens.
So today at work I get another email saying the my phone has arrived at the repair center. I check the tracking number again and it still says it is lost.
I called th repair center and ask guy how a phone that was lost almost 2 months ago just got delivered. tells me the phone has been sitting on the lost phone shelf.
I have probably spent 10 plus hours talking to these dumb asses.
They are giving me 100 dollars to spend at the Samsung store and a wireless phone charger.
You would think that if a phone does missing that would have been the first place they would have looked.
I did right the repair number on 3 sides of the box.
Like I said this is a condensed version
Thanks for reading my rant.

I had to order a replacement through Asurion and since they're charging me $100 for a phone that's coming later then they originally told me, I'd like to know if there was a way to make sure they got an 100% non-functional phone.
I somehow got water into my charging port which lead to the screen being jacked up but with normal usage it has somehow 'healed' itself. Most likely because the water has evaporated or something. The screen actually looks almost back to normal but the performance and battery is still bad.
Any suggestions besides shoving a screwdriver into one of the ports (I've considered it) when I have to send my 'broken' phone back.
Or, would it be possible to send the new phone back to Asurion, get my money back, and have Sprint replace it for free?
pull the battery out while your flashing a new radio. or try to downgrade to Hboot .76 and pull out the battery in the middle of the process

And I'm pretty sure that the pic has been posted a few times before as well, so where are you going with this?
Asurion covers water damage.
You want to do this just because the shipment is delayed? Grow up.
No, guys......this doesn't call for a facepalm.
How about I Paypal you $20, and you ship it to me so I can keep it for parts. That way, you'll at least get part of your deductible back. If not, you can go ahead with your childish antics. I'm sure Asurion will learn in invaluable lesson if you send them a bricked phone, but my option might actually work out better for you.
So as usual, I was on my way home with the bus. When I wanted to get out at my town I couldn't find my bus pass any more. Two girls helped me find it but as soon as I got off the bus and it drove off, it struck me - I left my phone in the bus!
I rushed home to turn on my computer and check Prey - thank God I installed it a few days ago! Since I was in the bus I had put the phone to mute because I didn't want to bother other passengers with annoying notification sounds.
It seemed as if it were near the train station where I got on the bus, so I drove there right away. In the meantime, I talked to public transport customer service and they told me I had to take better care of my stuff. Also, they only did effort finding things like laptops (while this phone costs more than most regular laptops).
However, when I was at about 300 metres away of the train station, my moms phone rang. It was my phone calling. A girl said she found my phone in the bus and I could pick it up at a town next to mine.
When I arrived it turned out to be the same girl who helped me find my bus pass.
I'm pleased to have realised there are still genuinely honest people, and thank God I have my phone back.
Just wanted to share this story with you, letting you guys know that losing your phone might not necessarily mean you won't ever find it back.
However, please take this as an advice and install anti-theft software on your phones. You never know when a hectic situation occurs, making you lose sight of your phone.

Okay so im still sort of new to this whole forum and so far I've talked to some great people who have helped me understand how to root, and theme haha thanks.
But this is a serious matter. My mother has Verizon wireless their tech support can't figure out whats going on with her phone and shes getting death threats and lawsuits.
She has switched out her phone 2 times, changed her number twice and it still sends out messages of spam, like to random numbers, Pretty much she's spoof'd. I have looked at her phone and I've yet to see any strange apps, I've ran scans, she doesn't even have an SD card anymore. While she was transitioning to a new phone tho, they gave her a loaner phone, before she got out of the store she had 13 new messages sent out to random people.
I'm stumped, Verizon is stumped my moms freaking out etc.
I have also updated her phone to 5.0 here are the screen shots and the actual model of the device.

Hey guys,
I've been visiting this forum for the last 2 years now, and always found my answer, until this point.
I was a happy owner of a Galaxy note 4 Snapdragon (910F), and always took care of it. It doesn't have any scratches or real damage, never sat on it or fell down only 1 little bump near the on/of button. So i was this really happy owner until a couple of weeks ago. My phone started to freeze, restart and showing me the MMC_Read Failed message.
so after a couple of days of searching the world wide web for answers, i decided to go the the store, since i'm still within my warranty period.
Now 3 weeks later, i called them to ask about the status of my phone. The answer stated that the issues are not covered by the warranty, because falling / pressure or impact damage is discovered and the repair costs are over 500 euro's.
After the phone call, i received an email ''explaining'' the situation: My phone was bended near the volume knob.
In the next picture you can see the bend:

}
So my question to you guys: can this bend be responsible for the error's/damage of my phone. And can I be held responsible for this? Since i never wear my phone in my backpockets, and always treat it with care! Or is there any other possible explanation for this issue? Since MMC-Read Failed is a error that happens more often with note 4 users (as stated by google)
I hope to hear from you!
Greetings
Mathieu
Hello all, I've had plenty of devices both recently being two Note 7's that were kept flawless and I ended up with an S7 edge after the recall but now I have an issue I can't seem to get any help on. Went out with my phone Monday while talking on it and I put it in my pocket once I got in my car. About an hour later when I reached in to change albums I noticed a gigantic crack on it between the home and back button. Obviously Samsung will I dropped it but I never dropped this device and it has been in an otterbox since the day of purchase.

I've always taken GREAT care of all my devices and I've seen online where the S6 edges had complaints of spontaneous cracks but I really hate to just say the phone cracked by itself.
I live bout two hours from the Samsung Service Centers in North Jersey and NY but can't get anyone on the phone so I can't get a price. Has anyone ever went through Samsung to get their device fixed?
I had a S4 with a broken screen fixed by Samsung. I'm in New Jersey and had to ship it to a Samsung repair center in Texas. I had Square Trade warranty and had to only pay a $75 deductible. They did a great job but I was without a phone for like 10 days.
