My phone starts run really really slow, that's making me feel bad and weird. is That because of the new room i installed ? or i did something wrong ? , Please anybody have a software or something to make my phone run faster ? .

Thank You in advance.
Hi billdang21,
I have flashed quite a few ROMs including several of the Energy ROMs by NRG. I have noticed different performance on my phone with each ROM I installed. There are several variations of the Energy ROMs and they all seem to have a very polished interface with nice icons as well as some of the latest versions of TouchFLO/Manila. However, NRG does state that some of his ROMs containing the latest Manila are unstable and to "expect many bugs". I suggest that you try flashing some of his other ROMs to see if they work better for you. Additionally, there are other chefs and ROMs out there and each one is unique and will have different features, applications and performance. You may need to flash several different ROMs before you find one that works for you. I really like the look and feel of the Energy ROM but I am currently using At0mAng's Fusion ROM because it was the most stable for me and gave a good balance between OEM look/feel and performs well. I think you should try flashing several different ROMs before going back to the stock ROM, but if you still want to re-install the T-Mobile ROM, you can find it here:

Reinstallation question

Hi!
I have the strangest question
My phone is reaaallly slow, so I figured I'd do a hard reset and reinstall everything.
My question is, what should I do
Basically I just want the latest version of windows mobile and HD2 updates. To get it really up to date
So can you give me any recommendations on what exactly I should update?
Thanks
The easiest way is probably to flash a custom rom..... one of the newer ones.
Should contain all the freshest updatey goodness and give the speed your looking for.......
Best thing to do is work out which apps you liked and what worked and do a hard reset back to factory spec and only install the apps you like...
After getting the phone most of us install every app that comes along, settling for a few that are essential... Hard resetting and fresh installs will help greatly...
Only go a custom rom if you really know what you are doing and only if you are dedicated to try several to find one that suits you...

I know I used to do so with my old telephone (TYTN II), but recently I spoke with a friend of mine (he has a HD2 too). He's really into computers etc, and he has the latest roms and everything. He told me that his phone is A LOT faster now.
The only thing is: I have no idea where to start. Just download the latest windows mobile? or should I download the latest HTC HD2 rom? Or both? In what order? Any other updates?

Before i went down the custom rom route i did modify a stock 1.66 rom so i can make a comparison here between as shipped stock, modded stock and custom 6.5.5. I can tell you that 6.5.5 is miles better, faster and if you get a custom rom with a newer version of sense that's even better.
Flashing custom roms has been covered so many times many people are bored of replying but i'll see what i can do in one post.
First you need a copy of HSPL3. Search for it, it will turn up. Don't ask how to install it. All you need to do is run the exe in the file you download.
Then you have a choice. You can either install and updated radio rom (will possibly improve signal and battery life but to find the best one for you and your area may take a couple of flashes and some testing) or just skip straight to the main event. I recommend that all new rom flashers use Energy 23569 standard sense 2.5 because it's fast, pretty lightweight and very close to a HTC stock rom in looks which makes it pretty easy to use. To install follow the instructions in the first couple of posts of the energy rom thread.
I also recommend that you have a look at leocpuspeed V4 and chainfire's 3D driver patch v2 (search for those). Once configured they will greatly improve the performance of the device running any rom you install and it's well worth it.
if you dont wanna go custom rom, i guess you could check see if you have all the latest updates from the HTC site, take it from there, only install apps to the device that need to be on the device such as tweaking apps and install everything else on the sd card, and get your self clean ram or bsb ram sweeper, will reclaim the ram for you from the programs you thought you may have closed but didnt really close.

Rom recommendation

I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of the best rom for me heres kind of what im looking for:
1. The rom that has the best texting support( i text alot and hate how 2.13 freezes and wont let me continue my text while im recieving one)
2. Battery life
3. performance
4. Cool homescreen
all in order of importance....
Thank you so much in advance
I would recommend the Energy series of ROMs , but you really should just browse the ROM threads and read the features ...
find the one that suits you ...
Remember you will have to HSPL first , search for HSPL3 ...
+1 on the energy ROMs. I use Energy GTX. It ROCKS!
I have yet to try out energy roms I kinda am stuck with Elegancia v9. I like it alot but i will flash Enery tonight to check what all the hype is lol.
i think it's kinda hard to make recommendations for "best rom". you should try them by yourself. or better not try to create your self your ultimate rom.

Best android rom for WildFire

I m searching the best rom for WildFire.
i l tryet all are on this section ... an nothing like s me.
For exemple : Stock roms not working Angry birds for exemple and you can t overclock you proc ( instaled and last kernel ...)
Others , at least the Froyo versions ... hmmm my opinion Battery drainers ... With Stock Roms ( mine and one i dw ed ) my battery keep my device alive 4-5 days with Froyo roms with a lil luck 2 days.
So , in you opinions guys ... What is the best rom what exist in this moment?
The best rom possible it will be a clean one (my opinion) without tweeter, facebook, youtube,Actions,Meteo,Peep,Sense .... A clean one of Froyo.
It is a personal choice however I use the WildPuzzleROM_2.1 Eclair v1.0.1 because I have not found any bugs with it. It also has HTC sense so I can use friend stream. and with support for apps2sd good for all of my apps. I personally do not like 2.2 Froyo version as of yet as the friend stream application does not function.
However If you tell us what your looking for from your custom wildfire Rom then we might be able to help more
Im a very new xda member and im also searching for a totally stripped clean rom
And i couldnt find nothin
So i thought im gonna create one by myself
im still very new to all this so if u know anybody who could help me with that?
I tried using the kitchen but also that is kind a confusing
If you want a clean rom the best is openfire 2.3 doesn't have nothing installed and is the fastest rom for htc wildfire, but I rather the cyanogenmod rom and it is by far the best rom, but how dnelson94 says it is a personal choice.
Clean Rom
yes I would recommend openfire 2.3 for a clean Rom and good look with making your own
I only got a Wildfire a few days ago, how do I go about installing a rom. Does it void warranty or anything?
Hmmmm

So if you want a custom rom ..you must root him , i use it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788776 , only in this way you can ...
in my opnion ...is irevocable, so you will lose you warranty ... But this phone never crush , until you make something wrong, search, read and make IN THIS ORDER .
+1 for OpenFire 2.3. Made my phone much faster and smoother to work with and extended battery life a little bit.
Can't comment on Cyanogen as I haven't tried it yet.
+1 for OpenFire 2.3 too.
I have started with Openfire 2.3, then tried Cyanogen, but after flashinng patched market and getting FCs after each install, got back to backup of OpenFire. This roms is blazzingly fast and lightweight. Thus, Cyanogen has way more customization options. Maybe i'll try to put it again with some nightly build this weekend.
I will try to help you in installing rom..
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App cyanogen mod
It is a personal choice however I use the WildPuzzleROM_2.1 Eclair v1.0.1 because I have not found any bugs with it. It also has HTC sense so I can use friend stream. and with support for apps2sd good for all of my apps.
Does it have contact photo's and names ? and is it stable by all means ?
Well fastest Sense ROM is SUnAaBh .. See it in my signature..

There is no way for someone else to determine what ROM is best for you. But, IMHO, that is what makes this old tablet fun. With TWRP you can download, flash and backup a whole bunch of them, try each of them for a while, and then decide for yourself which one best suits YOUR needs. I have six different ROMS backed up on mine and I still haven't decided which one I like best.
