My phone has just recently started going into bootloops and it seems to happen when the phone is shaken (ex. Turning on the flashlight) and I think it has something to do with the battery, because sometimes it won't turn on unless plugged into the charger and even then it will show the Moto screen for a few seconds, go to black, and repeat. For some reason when it does successfully, boot, it goes into factory mode. Running a check on the battery tells me that the battery isn't being detected by the phone at all. What is the issue here, is the ribbon cable disconnected? This is the second Moto Z Force in a row this has happened to me on. I haven't attempted root or anything of the sort, it's running completely stock firmware and software. It seems to start happening a few days after taking the 7.1.1 update.

I was recently on vacation taking a "Photo Sphere" with my Nexus 4 and suddenly my phone just turned off. It didn't power down, it just suddenly was off. I felt the back of my phone and it was particularly hot right in the center of the phone. Since that event, my phone is highly unreliable when unplugged and will continue to immediately turn off when I either try to use the phone's camera, or sometimes: try to make a phone call, watch a video, and other random things. After the phone has powered off, it gets stuck in a reboot loop. The phone is bootable and works reliably when it is plugged in. When I am able to successfully reboot the phone, when plugged in, I can see that the battery has plenty of charge remaining. The phone will work for hours or minutes after it has been unplugged as long as I am doing very little with it.
Things I have tried so far have been rebooting into safe mode and formatting my phone with the stock Android 4.4.2 image. Both of these things have not worked out.
I'm trying to determine if I need a new phone if there is something else. Is there anything that would be indicated by a crash log and if so, how would I access that log.
Think it is a hardware issue
I can't help but think that this is a hardware issue. So, I just bought a new HTC One (M8). It is a fantastic phone. I am going to keep my glitchy Nexus 4 as a development/test device.
My AT&T LG G2 (plain D800) is rooted, and has Xposed installed on it (I'm not sure if this caused the issue or not), but here's what I'm having problems with:
I was playing a game, when all of a sudden the phone froze (no biggie, it's done it before, I've held the power button to force restart it, and it works), but the phone shut off on it's own, and would/will not turn back on.
Tge LG boot logo comes up intermittently when I hold power and volume up, but only sometimes. The phone has only twice now gotten to the AT&T logo, but freezes immediately and shuts down. I've tried literally every combination of holding buttons, for up to 70 seconds at a time, both on the charger, off the charger, and while plugging into the charger.
I cannot get to download mode, I cannot get to TWRP, and can obviously not boot into the phone. I had made no changes in weeks prior to this happening, so I can't see why or how something with my phone being rooted would cause the problem.
I've left the phone charged overnight before performing the actions (the phone won't even show battery percentage), so I don't think it's a dead battery issue. Everything I've read so far seems to say that the battery chip has died and needs to be replaced. Somehow I don't think it's the problem.
I'm fully willing to completely wipe the rom, and everything on it, as long as I can get the phone working again. However I cannot boot into download mode to use ADB or anything.
Is my phone completely bricked? Or is there a chance that the battery chip really is fried? Please help!
Update!
I left the phone charging some more, and decided to try volume up and power (while plugged in). The phone actually went into download mode for about 5 seconds before shutting off again. I tried doing the same steps, but nothing will come up again. It appears to be an issue with the battery on the device. Does anyone else think otherwise? Or will I have to send it in for a new battery? (The phone is less than a year old so I don't want to void the warranty anymore than rooting, which they wouldn't be able to tell since it won't turn on anyways).
Update Again:
I can get the phone to show the LG logo/download mode on a fairly consistent basis, sometimes showing a static screen (colored noise, not monotone), sometimes a blue screen, but it will shut off after 5-6 seconds every time.
Hey, I do not want to announce bad but by your description it seems that did you mother board, go to the lab to make sure, I had something similar and I replaced the motherboard and my phone came on time, check if the device is still under warranty has a good chance to replace you under warranty, good luck.
A few days ago while charging my Moto X Pure, it suddenly turned off. I was not using the device, it was just lying on a table charging. When I go to turn the phone back on, it goes to the battery icon percentage screen and turns off again. I have no idea what happened. I tried to enter recovery mode and do a factory reset but it wont go into recovery mode either. It's the most bizarre thing that has happened and I have no idea what is wrong. The phone seems to work because it indicates that it is charging but it doesn't do anything else past that. PLEASE HELP.
Also, the phone doesn't turn on (and by turn on I mean go back to the battery screen) unless it is plugged in. That made me think it was a battery issue, but I don't understand if it was a battery issue, why it would restrict the phone booting regularly while it was plugged in.

Try charging it with laptop / desktop for a while 30 /40 mins.
Then try to boot into bootloader.
If you are successful then disconnect the USB and connect your turbo charger and start the phone.
Hello,
I received the YotaPhone 2 (YD206) today.
The box was sealed.
When I tried to turn on the phone, it didn't start. I thought it was empty so I put in on charger for 2 hrs.
After that I tried again , but still nothing happened -- i was holding power button multiple times, as long as 5 minutes at the time, but there was simply no response -- no vibration, no sound, screen remains black (not turned on), anything at all.
I tried different chargers as well (Xiaomi and Samsung one) -- they weren't working with this phone either.
When I connect phone to a PC, I just hear sound that something is connected (I saw installing drivers notice first time I connected it), but nothing happens at all. I don't see the phone in my computer or anywhere else.
Is there way I can fix this somehow? What else can I try?
Thanks!
You can try unlocking the bands like described here.
Not sure it will help but you can at least try.

Sounds like the phone is defect. The only thing I can think of is that it somehow freezed up and you will need to let the battery drain so all power is off the phone and then try to recharge it. Draining the phone completly without screen use can take up to 7 days.
I finally managed to turn it on,by keeping it on charger for whole day and night and after a couple of attempts it was on.
I thought battery voltage was pretty low which prevented it from turning on.
I used a phone for a day, completely discharged it and then recharged it to 100% again. I thought everything is gonna be good now.
Then I wanted to upgrade to Lollipop, I decided to use YotaFlasher to flash EU KitKat first, and that worked fine. After that, I used OTA update to download Lolipop.
Download finished, and I was offered to "restart device and apply update", but as soon as I confirmed, the device went off and I can't turn it on anymore. What the heck is happening with this yotaphone? (battery was at 97%)
I can't turn it on, restart, put in download or recovery mode, get it to charge or get the screen on. Also PC don't recognize it *AT ALL* -- not even sound that something is connected. It looks completely dead (again).
Any ideas what I can do to fix my new problem?
Hi. Last year I left my G2, and the screen broke, but everything worked fine. Recently, my new screen came from AliExpress. When I charge, the phone does not work anymore. Sometimes when I plug in USB or charger, it automatically goes to the firmware update screen. If I remove the cable and turn it back on, nothing happens, and if I leave it for about two hours, the cycle occurs again, ie it turns on and automatically goes to the firmware update screen. I do not know what to do, I tried to flash the ROM stock, but nothing has changed.
I do not know what to do.
Thanks.
