Got everything setup. This rom is based off Chinese ROM. There is an app installed called gay. It has a bunch of customizable stuff in it but it's all in chinese. Also there's a suspicious app called 360 cleaner. I uninstalled a bunch of stuff

Flashed the ROM all went ok but I lost root but when I re-root and check with Root Checker I get a No Root result. Why can't I re-root?

The first time you will request from the superpowers. Click on the message, then select "Normaly" and reboot
I'm sorry but I don't understand what you are trying to tell me. I have done all the necessary things with Superb but still cannot get root back.

The fix statement/FAQ
When the home button is pressed, the response occurs with some delay. This is due to the fact that by default, double-clicking the home button assigns an action. And the system after the first press waits for a certain time 2nd click, and when it does not follow, the action is executed. To remove this, go to the path: Settings - advanced - system - buttons - "Home" button / double-click action - DELETE "No action", profit!
Activate the dialer:
After the first start of the system, we move along the path
Settings - applications - gear (located in the upper right corner) - application for calls - and select a phone
Setting up MicroG - launching the market:
After wipes (complete) and installation of the system, it is necessary to do these actions:

- on wi-fi
- open settings - accounts - add accounts and enter your login and password.
If suddenly they could not enter the market, then go to the settings - applications - play market - turn off the application - the storage - 1) clean the cache, 2) erase the data.
Well, if you do not want to bother, put the Lucky patcher and through it we put without GOOSLE gogl play.
To sync contacts with Google Account, click the appropriate radio button in the account settings, in the system settings.

MicroG is a service that emulates gaps. These are very small in weight applications, which allow applications to work on gaps. These applications practically do not consume the battery and do not occupy RAM (in comparison with the gaps).

I dont understand how install, I go install rom boot and install this MicroG? No chance to use this with gapps?

No, microG is included. If U always use gapps, don't flash this.
How u patched the system(which method)
Xiaomi.eu is a custom ROM based on MIUI. Xiaomi.eu roms started off as a way to get a more "European" experience out of MIUI, which was predominantly Chinese. This involved better localization for non-Chinese languages, and making changes to make MIUI more global in nature. Installation procedure
Note -So far this is cross development thread so please follow the steps without any skip & also I don't recommend you people to flash any other custom kernels on this ROM .
1. Download zip accordingly to your phone
2. Install latest fastboot tools in your pc
3. Extract OOS.zip
4. Take a full backup and connect your phone to pc & boot your phone in to fastboot mode
5. double click on install.bat
6. Sit back and relax for 9min
7. Enjoy OOS

Hey, that's awesome work keep it up. Also did you test the PORT if so then how's the battery life and is the poor network reception issue still persists ?
I tried the Oxygen OS GSI but it seems there was vendor problem on that one which resulted in no network reception.
Can't wait to try it, will try after I get back my device from the service center :|

Well tested on Nokia 6.1 Plus so far Network strength is good and volte works out of the box . And also comming to battery life here rom comes with android 10 kiwis kernel we can expect atleast 6 to 7 hours
Are the system and boot.img files inside the zip at the Rom link? The OxygenOS-10.0-OP6-Stable-HMD-SDM660.zip file?

I'm also experiencing that Face Unlock and System Updater is not functioning in Nokia 6.1 Plus. Photo shots can't be retrieve inside the camera. However it resides successfully in Google Photos app.

1. system updater wont work because i nuked that due to we dont need
2. face unlock wont support in stock rom as well so i will try to fix that in next build by adding from whyred blobs

Just remove alt-ambient.apk in system/system/product/overlay and reboot
Do this process by using twrp via mount
If you are rooted you can do this using root explorer app

I have removed alt-ambient.apk from the folder but still I can't change the clock style while turning on the ambient mode is unsuccessful.

Try to remove remaining aod apk files in same location
system/system/product/overlay
Atleast this method will fix the notifications on ambient display
