Aosp - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone know where AOSP jfltexx device, kernel, and vendor tree is

AOSP is open source program, ex Cyanogen now Lineage/Resurrection remix/Octo and few more are based on AOSP... There is no way to download device/kernel and whatelse from their site... Its all about source codes/porting... its complicated...
Be more specific, what do you want with your jfltexx?

[Q]How to build a custom rom from Open Source?

if there is a way to build custom roms(completely usable) from samsung's open source?
wooooooo thats a loaded question.
In short - not really the only thing that is "open" is the kernel and whats left of Android it self....
The rest of the OS has been haggard up by touchwiz and is closed source.
This is essentially what the CyanogenMod project is.

Original source codes..

Does anyone here have the link for Huawei's source tree? What I'm looking for is the 2.6.35 kernel source code and the tarball which has extract-files.sh inside (android_device_huawei_u8800 I think?) I could only find modified ones for Cyanogenmod and ICS. I'm in a big need for them. I can't even download the source code for the kernel from Huawei's site because it just throws "Service currently unavailable" for me.
I actually tried using some device tree from github, but it resulted in these errors.
What I'm looking for are the non modified source files which I could use to build AOSP (Gingerbread).
Thanks in advance.

[Q] How to build Paranoid Android from source

Does anyone have a recent or mako specific guide on how to build Paranoid Android builds, I'd like to cherry pick a few smaller features into the already powerful ROM.
Would following the OmniRom guide and basically replacing the Omni values with the correct Paranoid Android values work out? Or is there other specific stuff I need to do?
I've got Ubuntu 13.04 & currently building OmniRom whenever I see there's a bit of a decent update but other then that I'm pretty much a noob .

Basically just clone the PA source, add the mako specific stuff (kernel, device, and vendor from TheMuppets repo) and compile. If you have any other questions just ask in the thread a linked above.

Trlte AOSP build

Where can I find the necessary device/kernel... files for a AOSP build of the trlte. I have built lineageos already but I am looking to build the AOSP one because:
I want to use this: https://github.com/pelya/android-keyboard-gadget
All my other devices are below kernel version 3.19 so its not gonna be simple as installing USB Gadget tool.
Unfortunately the provided link to the note 4 kernel: http://www.echoerom.com/ael-kernels/ doesnt load for me.
But the patch is still available: https://github.com/pelya/android-ke...-soc/samsung___apq8084______kernel_3.10.patch
Does anybody have a source tree for everything I need to build aosp of the trlte?
Also what else is different from default aosp and lineageos?
