Hi,
I'm using a couple of languages on my OP5, and the AOSP keyboard has a great spell check (the red ling under the word). However, if I'm using a third party keyboard (I like GO keyboard, but tested also with others), it recognizes all the words except the English ones as a mistake. I've tried adding all the languages as system languages but to no avail.
I know I can disable the spell check entirely, but I like it.
On my previous phones (nexus 4 4.2.2 and s4) I had no problem with it.
help anyone?

Hi,
I am having a problem with predictive text in the stock email app.
It works fine using the Samsung keyboard with X9 on, but with any 3rd party app (Gingerbread keyboard in my case) it doesn't work. Well, it works on the subject header but not the body text. Very annoying (I have attached some images)
I have tried using Swiftkey (including X beta) and neither work. All other apps are fine - messaging, What's App, & Gmail.
I have re-booted but still nothing.
BTW - Not rooted, running Go Launcher EX on KE7 kernel.
Anyone else having this problem?
Yes, this problem is very annoying.

Ah, ok. Must have missed that forum. Cheers.
I've been using CyanogenMod for a while on my M2. BTW, works like a charm and installation was painless - thanks a lot for all the tips and your hard work.
One thing I am missing quite a lot from the stock ROM (probably the only thing, really) is having dictionary suggestions displayed at the bottom of the screen when using the physical keyboard (as when using any onscreen keyboard). I have searched the settings menus and simply can't find it anywhere. I have even installed MIUI for a while to see if it was there but no luck either.
Am I missing something or is this feature only available on stock ROM? If so, do you think it would be possible to have it ported to CM7 or any other non-stock ROM in that matter? That would be quite useful especially considering that the M2 keyboard is a little bit on a rubbish side - improved a lot with the Debounce fix though.
Thanks a lot for any suggestions!
Smart Keyboard Pro is quiet good!

But this is on-screen keyboard, isn't it?
yes, but got also auto-correct for HW keyboard with many languages
Oh, didn't know that. I'll have a look. Cheers.
This is quite odd though. Doesn't it mean that installing a stock keyboard patch would bring this feature back? I installed it and the stock on-screen keyboard was fine but I am fairly certain it didn't work. Unless there were some settings I missed.
Works fine actually. Thanks a lot for the tip wadimka.
Wonder if there is a free app with the same functionality.
I ended up using GO Keyboard. I like the interface more, the dictionary seems to be a bit better for some reason (not sure if that's even possible ) and on top of that it's free.
I am fairly certain I have tried it before as I use other GO apps including GO Launcher and the dictionary wasn't working with the built-in keyboard. Looks like I must have messed up some settings.
Hi!
I've recently updated my word game and it's sad that some Transformer users are complaining about a problem. That said, while swiping on letters it's very slow, and when a word is found green color stays very long.
To test, you may download the game here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ercu.wordfind
If you face the problem, could you please send me an email ( agadroid at gmail com )? so i can send you an updated apk file to test.
your game are very well but i'm french and i hope you export with wny languages.
and can you activate mode for tablet ?

what he said
Aside from not being able to play in landscape (which is what i assume the previous 2 comments are referring to) it works fine for me. I'm running ARHD 4.0 which is an ICS stock based rom.
Yeah allow it to be landscape and it'll be fine c:

Thank you!
I'd uninstall the apk you downloaded and get the official Google one off the play store
Sent from my LG-D803 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
ok I know my problem is kinda weird since I've searched everywhere for a solution but couldn't find any thus far. (though my everywhere is limited to Xda and some other forums)
so my problem is that my note 3 kitkat 4.4.2 is able to display almost all emojis used and show their own Samsung made emoji..
however, every once in a while some of these are replaced by a Chinese character, this issue is visible in BBM broadcasts, Twitter and Path.
I've tried using snapchat, when I add a "story" I can view whatever I wrote in caption in the title, so when I use the emojis as a caption they always appear as Chinese Characters in the title
how do I get rid of this annoying problem?
hopefully someone has the same issue and solved it
I forgot to add that I bought the phone from Malaysia and it's N-9005
