I recently bought a tab4 off of ebay. When go through the start up screens it says it has gone through an abnormal factory reset. It is running lollipop, and I can't find a bypass that works. Does anyone know of one, or do you guys know if I can root it, or back up the os to allow one of the bypasses to work.

Hi guys,
I have a samsung omnia I8000 which I haven't used in ages. Now the problem is that I've forgotten the screen unlock password. Is there any way to bypass this without losing all the data? If not then how can I reinstall the OS on it?

Hello guys,
I have encountered i problem after i updated my international note 3 officially.It said there is a new update for my device so i downloaded and updated it then it wouldnt recognize my pin.I took the sim card out then it said there is another OTA available.I downloaded and updated again in hope for a fix but it didnt recognize this time either.I blocked it and tried the PUK1 and PUK2 codes neither them both worked.Im using it now without my sim card.Its not rooted btw.

Only thing I can think off is boot to recovery and factory reset, see if it fixes it.
If not then you'd probably need to flash stock via ODIN.
However you need to note that reactivation lock must be off -- do you remember/know if it is off or on?

Its off sir under the Security settings.
You can re flash your stock rom via ODIN, have a read around and make sure you are 100% confident in doing so, then when your phone boots back up, you should be able to enter your puk code to unlock your sim.
I cannot stress enough the importance of reading as much as your brain can take in so that you are absolutely confident in what re flashing etc entails.

What do you did exactly? Were you trying to flash a new Rom?
Maybe the only way to recover the device is to go to Download mode and flash a stock Rom through Odin... You'll lost root, but you'll have a tablet.

what kind is your tab? Can you boot into custom recovery?

I have actually fixed it. I'm happy that it is still alive and I didn't kill the motherboard
Yea I tried Odin but it didn't help so I had an SD card and put a stock ROM and flashed it with team win recovery and it worked. Thanks for the advice tho ??i was also able to root by flashing SuperSU update v x.xx.xx

which tab 4 is it? model number? tab 4 says nothing....
