Hey guys,
since decrypting, my device can't mount storage anymore. I can boot into xXx no limits 2.1 but all the apps that try to download files can't do so for obvious reasons.
Any idea how to fix this? Can't seem to find anything that helps on YT and xda.
Thanks in advance.
Update [Solved]: I went back to stock recovery, flashed the ROM and then reflashed TWRP. That has fixed my problem. Hope that this helps someone

I tried flashing cyanogenmod's new nightly rom, then franco's kernel, then I flashed the .33/.84 hybrid radio (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358931) and I now I am having problems.
When I go to twrp recovery to flash the CM rom I have on the internal storage the line does not move and it keeps saying updating partition. And for someone reason I cannot find the nandroid backup I did before doing this, it somehow got deleted. I can't access my internal storage to add another rom or the correct .48 radio to flash because I'm just stuck in the recovery. It also says I have no OS installed whenever I do a restart to recovery. It is even telling me that I am not root and that I need to install SuperuserSU sometimes.
I tried loading up the adb sideloader but don't know how that works.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Hello
I already saw 2 similar posts/questions but nothing seemed really to help, people just somehow managed to make it work. miraculous
I have a backup so i restored after having this issue without any problems. But still I want to use my custom ROM
Coming from Rayglobe 3.2 I updated to the latest TWRP x.x.3.3. (i think), however. When wanting to flash the ROM, it says in the console that it was unable to mount /system. In the mount setting I can't click on /system neither.
It stays in a loop, saying it is flashing the ROM, but nothing happens.
I know how TWRP on G2 can take forever, especially when wiping. But this is a real loop as far as I can tell. Since I updated TWRP, wiping doesn't take much time neither.
Did anyone have a similar issue and/or a solution?
Thank You
I've got a 2013 tablet that I upgraded twrp to latest version 2.8.2 from 2.7.0 using Twrp manager app. It upgraded all right but now it can't see my sdcard from within recovery and I can't even factory reset. It says it will reset not when I reboot it just boots like normal. Obviously my sdcard is still there when I reboot into my system. But from within twrp recovery program it can't see it. Anyone have any suggestions on why that could be?
Thanks for any advice anyone might have ... I'm stumped.
Same problem for me. The sdcard is not mounts. Also I cant wipe cause TWRP can't wipe some partitions, like 'cache'. Think it's just a bug and we need to downgrade. Maybe the fix it in further updates.
Yeah I read that this is a probable bug in twrp 2.8.2 and to flash latest 2.8.2.2 instead. Problem is where can I place an image file that twrp is able to see? I can't even seem to MTP mount.
Actually I got it upgraded just using the twrp store app to install 2.8.2.2. The image Wagner available on the spot yet but there's another thread here where someone posted the zips for 2.8.2.2 so twrp app would recognize it for install.
The first issue I started to notice after rooting via Odin & TWRP was when trying to flash the iOS and WP ROMs from this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/3oss-project-samsung-galaxy-tab-4-7inch-t3081478 , it would fail. I was able to successfully flash the Google ROM from same post. I believe it was with one of the other ones that it even said successful yet when i went to reboot said no OS installed. So, I figured update my TWRP to newest version, maybe that was the problem. Well after updating, now when i go to wipe/factory reset it either says unable to mount or it doesnt even make it that far and reboots system. I tried flashing PIT file with Odin and issue persists. Everything still works smoothly but any help fixing this issue would be much appreciated as I do not want to dirty flash anything. Thanks in advance.
So now...after flashing stock firmware, it boots all the way to nook screen (right after samsung logo) and stops. I can boot into TWRP but it still says unable to mount data. Also, in TWRP when i click mount, the only one already checked is cache. I can manually select all others except data. When i go to install, the internal sd has absolutely nothing on it...really hope i didn's completely mess it up, sometimes my eagerness to learn gets the better of me. Thanks again for any help!
I have the same issue, im stuck
Hi,
I recently encountered a bug in TWRP where \data wouldn't mount. When I finally fixed the \data mount and installed a custom rom (Oreo 8.0), the next time I booted into TWRP recovery my internal storage would show up as 0mb not being able to install any .zip files. I tried various solutions found online and some versions of TWRP.
I found a fix that worked for me, which could (hopefully) help some people that encounter the same problems.
The simple solution I found was using a blu spark twrp recovery I found on some other post online.

Let me know if it worked
thanks.

Just format the data by going to TWRP

Didn't work for me and many others. Everytime I rebooted into recovery after the format, the data would be unable to mount again.

Then try going to fastboot mode and then type 2 commands i.e
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
Then move to TWRP and format the data by going to additional format option and type yes
It will work for sure

Did you just flash the blue spark twrp only? or the blue spark kernel as well?

I did not install the blue spark kernel. Only the twrp recovery I mentioned.

Thanks! You've saved me a lot of stress...:good:
Isn't twrp 3.2.1 the version that also has a bug that won't let it mount otg when in recovery?
