Because apparently we went so far off topic in the other thread, people were complaining.
So, I tried calling my local Fry's with the PLU: 6575513 and nothing showed up on their end.
Is the plu the same as the sku? What is the sku?
Need it to check the Target I work at.

I called Campbell, CA store & they told me they had one in stock but when I got to the Computer Dept, the guy that picked up told me they couldn't sell it until tomorrow.
Has anybody tried calling the Roseville store with that PLU? I may go by there tomorrow and see if they have it.

The PLU is the price look up number, I'm not sure how it differs from the SKU.

Which store did you call? I've had my guy on the inside find this information for me, and it's been confirmed with someone else in a different store. Maybe those guys mistyped?

I called the Stafford, Texas location. I also called the Palo Alto store, but did not give them the PLU.

I called the Dallas store and a man with a heavy accent told me that tablet doesn't exist, then when I told him I had a PLU, he asked for me to give it to him, paused after entering it in, then rattled off some line about not having it in their system and it not existing...almost as if he's reading from a script

Pretty much the response I got.
Also, don't insult heavy accents! I felt bad for the guy at the Palo Alto store, he had a hard time understanding me. haha

I can't believe people complained. Or that this forum would go back and delete off topic posts??? It was just good natured banter and excitement for a new piece of technology.
Anyway, on topic, the ABQ Best Buy had no idea what I was asking about.
I chatted w/ Newegg's support staff, as expected they gave a general comment and said they have no info on future items and sent me a link to suggest a product. I asked about the Transformer and Iconia A500.
I really hope Newegg has it tomorrow and doens't sell out fast. For a few reasons I want to buy from Newegg only.
Edit: We really need to keep this on topic, its a b**** to go through 30 pages when I check the thread the next morning lol.

I called the Tempe and Phoenix AZ Fry's store. That PLU came up with the ASUS correctly. However, there were none in stock in either location.
That's very strange. Fry's system should be synced nation-wide, and shouldn't have discrepancies. Palo Alto is showing to have stock at the moment ready for tomorrow.
I would go down there and see someone who knows their way around the system.
Just got off the phone with a Bestbuy in Ohio. They tell me the transformer will 'Launch' tomorrow but they have no units on hand or in their system. I asked if this was common for this to happen this way and he said yes and instead of their own trucks UPS might drop them off in the morning.
I don't know how true this is, but if it is I might just drive out tomorrow and get one.

I wouldn't be surprised if these are being drop shipped straight from Asus distribution centers to individual stores. I imagine they can fit 12 Transformers in each case.
Phone is in mint condition as is the screen. Digitizer stopped working.
I don't know if it's the actual digitizer or the flex cable, but I'd rather not do it myself and ruin something.
Anyone know where I can get it fixed or get it figured out what's wrong with this thing for a decent price?

I know people here probably get tied of me posting this but his work speaks for itself. Here is a direct link to the page on his website that tells all the services for the HD2 he offers. Hope this is helpful to you.

Since this is a very common problem you can get it repaired at most reputable phone repair shops (try Google maps). The digitzer+glass costs at least $70-80 though! Even if the just cable is broken, they will replace the whole screen for you.

There is a place in Norfolk, VA you can mail your phone to. They had pretty reasonable prices when i called a few years ago about something. Here is the link. They have several in the US, this happened to be closest to me in Maryland. You need to tell them that it would be mailed in, i think but not 100% that they require an additional $10 to mail the phone back to you ontop of the charges to fix the phone but being that i hadn't called in a few years this price might have gone up.

This stupid dock has been perpetually out of stock since I got my Note 2. It would play peek a boo with us for usually 12 hours at a time before going out of stock again. Well, for those of you who want one, now's your chance to get one at half off.

This is YMMV, so take it for what it's worth. I had no trouble placing the order, and was off the phone inside of five minutes.
All you need to do is call Samsung's order hotline and place an order for the Smart dock. Tell the rep that you had been e-mailed a 50% off code last year when you registered your phone with Samsung, but the dock has been mostly out of stock since you got the code. The code is now expired, and you were told someone could reissue a new code to you when it was back in stock again.
The number is 1-800-757-0280.
The representative did not issue me a new code, but instead simply took 50% off of my order over the phone with no questions asked. She simply said, "Ok, that's fine. I'll just need your credit card and billing address, and it'll be $49.99 plus tax with free shipping."
Note that this dock also works with the Galaxy S4 as well.

Normally, they will just have you place the order over the phone, instead of issuing a new code.

Any reason this wouldn't work for the GS3 (current work phone). Also, I've heard that this only outputs to portrait mode--any recommendations on apps to force landscape mode--I see quite a few on the play market.

You could try auto-rotate switch in the market. The dock is listed as being compatible with the Note 2 and S4.

If you want a technical reason for it, ask Samsung. All I can tell you is that their website lists only those two devices as compatible.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this...I just assumed with the wealth of knowledge on this forum, someone here might know the technical reasons why this would/wouldn't work w/ the GS3, as I'm much more likely to get a quick answer here vs asking a random email at Samsung.

Their staff is actually pretty knowledgeable if you call them up. Just ask for tech support or something. I know the S3 has MHL support, but I'm not familiar with the USB pinouts, which may be different than the Note 2. Quickest answer is going to be a short call to Samsung.

I mostly just use it as a desk charger. It does make it easy to connect a USB drive though. I have a BT keyboard and a USB mouse connected to it.

Okay, so I've been using the Galaxy S2 for god knows how long and I really need to move on.. and also the fact that its battery is dying for the third time... that helped me to take the decision to go with the 6P.
There's just a major problem, I'm neither from US nor Europe... and I don't wanna pay 200$ or 300$ extra just to get it.. because the only reason i'm buying it is it has a great value in its current price..
I have seen a few nice forwarding sites, like fishisfast and usgobuy and they do look promising... I can buy from the Google Store and ship to my country and that would only cost me about 50 bucks more.. which is great...
My only concern is defective units... I've seen so many complaints on the forums here about defective units starting from the slight pink screen to speakers and the list goes on... and I'm afraid that If I receive a defective unit i won't be able to get a replacement...
is there's any safe way of getting the 6P without compromising warranty or paying like 200 extra bucks

From a returns standpoint I'd easily prefer the Google Store. However, I'm not sure how that applies (or doesn't) to your current situation & questions.

Ugh, I'm sick of this, I've always wanted to buy a Nexus.. Starting from the Nexus 4, to the 5 and then 6P... and I never did.. Why google makes them that damn hard to get anywhere else on the world !!
I think I'm gonna wait till Amazon start selling them officially.. That's probably gonna be the best in returns standpoint..

Okay, No Nexus for me then... I am buying the HTC M8.. It does have a pretty active dev community.... Definitely not as good as the 6P.. But it's currently for half its price...
As per the title anyone knows where I can buy another of the included case? I really really like how it looks and feels in the hand.

I don't think OnePlus site has the case listed and on eBay I've had no luck, maybe it's a region thing
Sorry I know I seen them on there a bit ago or maybe it was another site I'll look in my history cause I said the same thing. The free case is the best looking so far for the phone and I went looking to find backups for when I kill off the 1st one.
Go to tmobile and tell them you need the case for the display, if you had any insured otterbox/other cases on the account they wont care and they will just give it to you
