Hello everyone, i have a question which i cant find a real answer . Last night when i was on fb messenger , a strange blue spot appeared in left coner , on curved display. My first thought was i have a display problem because is a new phone and i was worried. I get out from app ( not closed ) , the spot was gone.I came back in app , the spot appeared again . Finally i closed and the spot is gone forever. I am interesed what was that , i search on google and i find can be some notification or something like that , but nothing clear. Well , i am curios what is that drop , if my display has some problems, and how the i can make to appear again . Here a photo wich i found on google similar like my spot , but is was somehow above

Guys,
I like to check with you all whether any solution for the below problem :
Every time I boot up my phone, it will display the messaging menu on the background and I cannot view the HTC Sense main screen till I press any button.
Please see below photo of the problem :

Mine does exactly the same thing.
mine does the same thing too, it seems to be that messaging tries to open up on top of it, if you see on your screenshot, it says messaging at the top instead of start. Seems to be an issue with windows mobile i think as i had the same thing happen on my touch pro with a custom rom. it happens to me when i use the phone too, for example if i'm watching a video in full screen that messaging thing appears over it and exits full screen playback, doesnt happen all the time but enough to become annoying
Try booting the phone without the memory card inserted. Maybe it's corrupt.
I get this too. Tried searching for a fix but couldn't find one so good to see a thread started here about it.
Touching the screen will also take you to the main screen.
Weird. I get the "Launching HTC Sense" sometimes, but never the Messaging thing instead of Start.
It only happens on mine if the phone has been switched off for a while, for example over night, if I just switch the phone off and back on again it goes straight to the main screen.
Please Check if you also have the same kind of output on your GNote.
I bought this Yesterday and it also has pink spots on the pictures taken on low light
The first GNote i bought yesterday has the same pink spot..
Then I returned the unit with claims of camera defect ( Pink Spots)
Just this morning it was changed to a new unit.
And this is the result.
I dont know if this is normal but i think its not.
Please say something..

It seems that all of their units are like this.
They won't refund says the General Manager..
They would only change unit. (but it seems all units has the same camera defect)
(Sorry it seems i posted it on the wrong thread)
Apologies.
Please kindly move this mod.

ahh the pink spot,
well its "normal" and not a hardware fault as i understand
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=pink spot
i have the same pink spot when there is not enough light. But when i change the white balance (to incandescent) the pink spot disappears, or at least is no longer in the center of the screen, as seen you can see in my two images:
no pink
i have a galaxy note from France, but no pink spot here :/
I get the pink spot in low light as shown above. It appears to me to be white balance related.
All must try an external app for camera called "camera fv-5" u ll find a big differ in pics

it just all of a sudden started doing it
According to an answer by someone a year or two ago, that's rare but can happen. Turn off phone, remove and reinsert battery then boot up again. Should be fixed. (but I assume you already tried this)
I will look for the original post 'n' see if I can find it, though I should note that the guy's screen was white, and not red.
EDIT: nope, couldn't find it. basically because I didn't know what to look for, I just remember seeing a post with a screenshot and a screen like yours (except in white) and someone replies to him, it was in 2010 .... sorry.

Hello everyone,
Last week I've dropped my G2 and it begin to show some lines white lines as shown in the photo. First, Ive thought that the screen was faulty so I've decides to buy a new one but unfortunately the issue persist and continue to show on the new screen. Also I want to note taht the phone sometimes goes back to normal and the white lines disappears but just for while and then they show again.
Is it from one of the motherboard connectors or what exaclty ? any ideas ?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi. I have exacty the same problem. Anyone encountered problem like this? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Hello - my phone is 1.5 years old and suddenly I have faint blue spot on my screen, mostly visible on white background. It's been there for a week ...

Any ideas if there is a way to fix this?
Tap it fast and gently on the 'smudge' for a minute or so. If there is any improvement, keep doing it till it disappears. If not, get a new screen.

Thanks for the tip but It doesn't seem to change anything.
If it doesn't spread I might keep it that way because changing the screen would cost me near what I paid for the phone!

could be delimitation, which means you need a new screen.
However try a screen calibration app first.
2nd a factory reset (this calibrates the screen on newer versions of Android)
if that doesn't work you probably need a new screen
The same issue arised for my screen, but it is fainter, think it is screen issue because when I was tapping screen during restart that part had a strange response. It appeared almost suddenly for me, any fix?
