Hello
My HD2 does have full signal, but sometimes when people call me they get a phone is not available reply. I have tested this with a different radios, roms even on android and wp7. I've even tried switching to 3g even though im on a prepaid card. Please help!
You have a faulty SIM card, I would try getting another SIM card. If this does not help you may have issues with the SIM card tray in your device. If you have full signal then you do not have a reception or antennae issue and what I have mentioned is really the only next logical reason for your issue. ssIM cards just like anything else go bad from time to time even if they are not that old.

He's right, this is what I suspect too: a faulty SIM card.
Even it looks a bit odd, faulty SIM cards can be (more often than expected, and I mean it!) a p.i.t.a.
As a side note: I encountered a SIM card that was working perfectly with some common phones (nokia, zte or whatever), but not working at all with a Samy Exhibit 4g until SIM card replaced!

Its not a faulty sim card. Used 3 different sim cards including 1 from another carrier. Had the same problems

Currently I flashed the 2.12 radio and it seems to accept calls better sometimes but I still recieve the call error less frequently now.

Well seeing as you have tried different SIM cards then it very well may be a issue with your SIM card tray then. But I do suggest you flash the 2.15.50.14 radio and see if that helps, but I have a feeling you were already using it before you flashed the 2.12 radio.
Hi guy,
There is a strange problem with sim cards in my country (Romania).Every now and then you can find that you have no signal and your sim is "demagnetized" (thats what they say) and i have to play @ 10E to change my sim card.
This can happen 5-6 a year or not even once in 10 years.
And my question is: is this happening in your country too or is this just a mode of making money?

Here in the US, the only time i run into issues with a Sim card, is if changing phones... for example, the sim card would be an older type, and the phone woulnd't support it.
Other than that, i personally have not had a Sim go bad.
does this happen to multiple sim cards in one phone? or is this in different phones you observe this?
Cheers
Hello guys, I had this phone XT1685 for about 2 months now, and today I tried the second slot or SIM2 but it doesn't recognize the SIM card. Did anyone else had this problem with the 2nd card slot? I have the latest update on Moto G5 Plus Build NPNS25. 137-33-11
Please someone let me know if you had this issue and fixed it
Hello. I also have dual SIM XT1685, sometimes the phone doesn't recognize SIM 2,usually after restart, but sometimes even when I was using the phone.
Picking the slot out and putting it in helped each time, but only in the system (don't disable or restart the phone)
I got decision for myself: I've put a small peace of paper under SIM 2 in the slot. 1 week since then, SIM card works perfectly.
Cleaning cards with IPA, or eraser for pencils did not help.
SIM cards are both new

I faced it two times on XT1686, SIM cards disappearing out of the blue. I got it fixed both the time by just popping it out with the pin and cleaning the the contacts and popping them back in.
Thanks, I will give it a try....

Hi, I do own a XT1685 device and face both SiMs problems: SIM1 not recognised, SIM2 no service. I will replace sim card reader with one ordered from internet because nothing else works.

I have tried this, it doesn't work. Recently I flashed 8.1 version for TWRP, it seems to me that this issue is gone, sim cards are both recognised after reboot
So I got the phone Friday and everything was working perfectly except for the texting coming so I called Verizon and had them the cdma_less feature. After that my text came flooding in. So I used the phone all day and later on I lost signal completely. So I shut my phone off and on multiple times and I would get LTE but no voice over LTE so I couldn't make phone calls and then my phone signal stopped again.
I called technical support and they did a bunch of resets on the network side and still couldn't get it working so they suggested that I get a new SIM card. I got a new SIM card and still didn't work so I called technical support again and they went through a bunch of things with me and finally they had me move it over to SIM card slot 2. They did get it going in SIM card slot 2 but I've also read people online having troubles with this when they had it in sim 2 and that most were using sim 1.
Has anyone else had this issue and what slot are you using? I'm worried that it's going to happen again. Which SIM card slot are you using and do you think the SIM card slot is an issue? I don’t understand why it would work for a whole day in slot 1. Thanks in advance.

I have been having this same issue after updating to 9.0.10. I was on the phone with Verizon and OnePlus for 50 minutes. Still have not gotten the issue resolved.
If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.
Have you switched Sim card slots? Ever since I went from 1 to 2 I haven't had one issue
I read somewhere that a factory reset fixes it
9.0.10 breaks Verizon connectivity. You might get some LTE, but no voice or messaging. Looks like people can fix it with a factory reset.
FYI: Same issue on the new beta.

I tried everything except for a factory reset on 9.0.10. Decided to try the open beta. That resolved the issue for me.
Are you forcing the update by using a VPN or getting it OTA?
I have a OnePlus 6t with the latest OS version.
I have 2 sim cards.
First is from the provider O2 Germany.
Second is from the provider Drillisch Germany (Drillisch using the O2 network).
The first works fine in my device with the VoLTE and VoWIFI.
The second doesn't work at all.
I tried them both with with many different situation, like one every time or changing the slot for every Sim. Nothing change.
I tried my second sim in another device, doesn't work.
I also tried a friend's sim from the Drillisch network in my device and for unknown reason it works.
I thought there is something wrong in my sim card. So I contact the company to send me a new sim card. They send me a new one. But it also dosn't work.
Any help with the situation.
Thanks
any help here?
not sure if its related but i was having some issues with volte/vowifi on 10.3.7 and volte was getting dropped frequently and vowifi was not consistent at all even when i was using my home wifi all the time. I downgraded to 10.3.5 and its better and more stable now. you can try the same if you started seeing the issue only recently.
