LG G6 H870 went to H872 after following guide... help needed :) - LG G6 Questions and Answers

Hello everyone,
I messed up my g6 a little... I followed this guide here: cyanogenmods.org/forums/topic/lineage-os-14-1-lg-g6-h870-nougat-7-1-rom
The results are: My H870 is shown as a LG H872 in my Windows Explorer... Any ideas how to get it back to a H870?
Thanks!

Is anything wrong?? Like, is it not working properly?? If the only wrong thing is the Model name being different... I say just leave it!!
Or you can always just flash the stock H870 over.

I experienced same problem after trying to flash TWRP, but also I was stuck in bootloop. You can simply flash (upgrade) this KDZ file via LGUP and simply get back on the rails again

LG L7 - How to revert to stock?

Hello guys,
I'm going to sell my L7, it's too slow, and I'm a bit tired of installing things to make it a bit faster.
So, my question is... How to revert to stock firmware? Currently, I've installed V20A (beta, I think), rooted, and CWM. I want to install V10K.
Can you guys help me? Thank you.

Links don't work.
But I want to delete everything, including CWM. I want to put the L7 100% stock (firmware and recovery).
Up.
I'm going to sell it tonight, so I really need to solve this.
I want to install V10i from Vodafone Portugal and then I'm going to update the phone to latest firmware, via LG PC Suite. Is this possible?
Really? Nobody can help me?!
Where can I download official firmware from Vodafone Portugal?
Come on guys, help me, I have to sell the L7 tomorrow :x And if the next owner wants to send the phone to warranty, I don't want to have any problems :S
Even easier (I think).
How can I install V20A with no mods at all?

LG G2 w/ no ROM installed. Got TWRP and Download Mode working

Hey.
So, I got Windows 10 and tried the *.KDZ method but it gives me the connection error and I couldn't find anything as to how to fix it, so I tried adb sideloader, it only allows me to install custom ROMs I guess? It doesn't work with .kdz files or something I guess.
So, I have TWRP installed, my download mode is working but someone tried to do a "hard reset" and wiped out the SO on TWRP, can anyone tell me what to do now please?
Thanks!
PS: I already got my stock .kdz downloaded from LGs official website.
Which model G2 do you have? Which version of android are you coming from and which did you try to flash? Which version of TWRP do you have and is it bumpted?

Hello, it's my sisters phone and it's a D805 from Brazil
She had a OPTIMUS G3 installed and I tried flashing with the D80530A .kdz that the LG website gave me. She's got the 2.8.3 release and I don't know whats bumpted but it's rooted and I got it to reinstall the OPTIMUS G3 (latest version) to it, but I still can't get it back to stock.
Thanks for the help.

Since you have TWRP you can try the method discussed in the link below ..... I recommend you upgrade your TWRP to 2.8.7.3 first though.

Find the latest .kdz and use LG UP or LG Bridge to install and this will return your G6 yo stock and remove TWRP.

Use lgup and uppercut to flash stock kdz file
If you're wanting to send it in for warranty repair the boot loader will still be unlocked, flashing a stock kdz will not relock it. They may not honor the warranty.

Using another kdz on LG v20 AT&T model

I have a question I was thinking of using the h915 kdz on my AT&T LG v20 variant. I saw the post about using patched lgup with common dll. I tried this method without success. Lgup kept saying that I it cannot flash h915 to h910. I cannot seem to get around this. My query is can I use another carrier kdz on my phone and which one should I use? And an someone assist with the process? By the way I am using LG V20 H810 currently on nougat. Stock firmware don't want to lose root, just want Android Oreo. Thanks in advance. Also is there an easier way to gain root besides dirty Santa. Seems so lo d and risky.

Use pathed LGUP file in thread:
[GUIDE][UNBRICK] Patch LGUP to unlock features & unbrick V20 (Variant mismatch fix)
and you will can to flash h915 kdz, or us996 kdz. Don't flash other kdz, you will loose your phone.
only one method to access root -- dirty santa.
You can just run follow the instructions in the root thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/how-to/root-h910-v10m-t3664500 on any version H910. Backup anything you need, including from the internal storage and SD card, before you start.
Follow the instructions exactly as written, until they tell you to flash the h910-10r ZIP. Go here, https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/development/h910-att-lg-v20-stock-oreo-rooted-t3846384 get the proper version of TWRP, download the v20h ZIP, download the proper mk2000 kernel, and the Magisk 17.1 ZIP,then flash the rooted v20h ZIP.

Reflash the H915 KDZ until you get TWRP. You can flash your DUMP with TWRP I think?

The only way to go back to stock H910 is to first root your device and flash the stock H910 twrp zip file.
[ROOT] HOWTO: AT&T H910 up to v20g (FULLY TESTED)
[ROM] H910: FULL return to stock v10q
