After rooting my Galaxy A300H, it boots into recovery when completely shut down and powered on. I then have reboot the phone manually from TWRP. The same thing happens while charging when powered off. I know this isn't much of a problem since I can boot into the system but it's really annoying at times. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
TWRP version: 3.1.1-0, installed using flashify.
ROM: Currently LOS 14.1 20170529 but the same happens with stock ROM.
Root method: Odin v3.12.6 (cf-autoroot)
Come on, nobody?
Have you tried to flash twrp with odin instead, and then flash supersu in twrp?

I had the same problem before I fix it by flashing twrp via Odin

Hi,
I'm currently running CyanogenMod KitKat version with ClockWorkMod. Since the rom has several bugs and for the past few months they haven't published any updates to my Galaxy s4 I9505, I've decided to switch to WanamLite.
There I found out I need TWRP recovery so I went ahead and downloaded GooManager which installed an outdated version, as I've found out.
I tried wiping my internal storage as recommended but the recovery couldn't mount any of my partitions.
So now CyanogenMod won't boot. I know this issue is fixed in the updated version of TWRP but I'm not sure how to update it without the phone booting (Odin perhaps? It doesn't recognize it currently... Should I move to download mode for it to be detected?)
Anyways, I'm kind of stuck as of now. Any help would be very much appreciated!
Btw I have a question, what's the difference between using Odin 1.85 and 3.09? Why do people still use the old version?
Thanks in advance!!
Neta
Edit:
Alright, now I can't get into recovery either. When I try, I can see the Samsung logo and there's "recovery" written in the top left but then it just restarts again into the same logo without "recovery". I'm starting to lose my cool now. Anyone have any ideas?
Try flashing latest stock through download mode and see if it boots.

Flash this recovery through odin. It's TWRP 2.6.3.1. Worked alwys for me.:fingers-crossed:

Uncheck auto-reboot in Odin.
Thank guys
I got freaked out and just did everything I could to make the phone working again.
I found a thread on XDA explaining how to return your phone to stock version, so I followed it, rooted with auto root, (btw Odin didn't recognize my phone because I used the front usb... how annoying!), then flashed the latest TWRP (2.7.0.1, not 2.6.x.x as GooManager downloaded for me), then booted to recovery and flashed WanamLite.
Everything is working now!
Except one thing - I'm still not able to access recovery mode through physical buttons, only using boot apps. Is this a kernel issue?
Could be some incompatibility since CyanogenMod uses it's own kernel and CWM recovery.
The recovery itself is working fine, but when I try to access it using buttons it shows the Samsung logo with the recovery on the top left, and then reboots again to normal boot.
What do you think?
Thanks!
I flashed the twrp recovery but every time a reboot or turn my phone off it goes to the recovery mode, how can I solve it without reflash my ROM? Please help, I'm using H530 xxu lollipop rooted with xposed, can I solve it by flashing the stock recovery? If someone has it I'll be thankful
Hi all,
My Samsung Galaxy S5 G900H, I updated it to stock Samsung Android 6.0.1. Now I want to root it. AS I've read in some of the other threads that flashing TWRPand then the latest SuperSU works. I went ahead and flashed TWRP using ODIN. Odin was successful and my phone rebooted and phone is working fine. But when I try to go into recovery, stock Android recovery pops up. I wonder why?? Can anyone point me out?
try this recovery you will be solved...
juz flash it with Odin 3.09

As rewards hit Thanks
Use twrp 3.0 by fevax i was had same problen but when u flash it reboot to recovery then to systen
I flashed this same recovery earlier. It is not working for me.
It's the same one I flashed earlier. Not working for me. Should I try to reflash the stock firmware and try again??
"flash it reboot to recovery then to system" Important point. This worked. Instead of rebooting directly after flashing. I flashed recovery, then removed battery to turn device off. Then rebooted into recovery. It WORKED.
I think rebooting into system first rewrites TWRP with stock recovery.

Hi good morning I'm new here so I explain my problem and please hope a solution will thank
I'm doing flash with odin to enter TWRP recovery, the installation is normal but when I start the recovery with the phone, enters the factory recovery, why this happens?
there's a solution
THANK YOU!
To solve this problem unchecked the auto reboot options in Odin and after flashing removed the battery
Now try to get into recovery
It will be twrp this time
Press thanks if I helped

Works for me as long as I dont boot the stock ROM. I can boot TWRP normally, but as soon as I boot into the stock ROM, reboot into recovery again, stock recovery has replaced TWRP. I know android has na option to unlock OEM bootloader, but this option does not exist on this device`s stock ROM (dev options enabled of course). Only way I found to subvert this is flash lineageos ROM in TWRP, but for some people that might not be a solution, I think.
Hey guys,
Not sure what I screwed up... I recently tried installing chainfire root via ODIN onto my Note 4 (trltexx) running 6.x and it got stuck on trying to boot recovery.
Then I flashed back to stock 6.0.1, and rooted by installing TWRP 3.0.2-0 via Odin, then flashing latest SuperUser.
So now I'm on 6.0.1 stock, rooted, but whenever I plug the device in while it's powered off it just fires up TWRP. I don't have the charging icon screen anymore...
Does any body know what partition I messed up and how I would fix that? I'd rather it not launch TWRP whenever I plug it in to charge. (Doesn't do this when it's already on, just when it is powered off).
Thanks,
Levi

Looked into the chainfire root package and saw that it flashes not only recovery but also the cache partition. So I went into TWRP and wiped the cache. Looks like problem solved, charging screen is back.
Hopefully this post helps somebody else in the future!
