Hi,
Anyone having trouble pairing their g6 to some bt devices? My g6 won't find my car radio in any way... I can see other phones without problems, but not my radio.
With my old nexus5 and my friend's s7 edge the radio works without problems.
Any idea?
Did you ever find a solution? I'm having same issue with an ODB2 car adapter, ALL my other android devices connect fine but the LG G6 just says incorrect passcode each time?
I have the same issue.
Sometimes it connects, sometime does not.
I only have this problem with a Promat Carmate-6 bluetooth FM transmitter. I tested with other phones running 7.1.2 to connect to the transmitter it works fine. Only my LG G6 have this problem and only with this device.
Please share it here if you find a solution
I am having the same problem with my lg g6 and my 2014 subaru Impreza stereo it keeps cutting in and out and switching the audio output from the car stereo to my phone i have called lg and they were useless.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to help a friend here.
His got a Nexus 4 with 4.3, but the problem was also in 4.2.2. When connected to in dash audio system (2010 Nissan Qashqai) via Bluetooth everything is working.
But while talking there are like interference within the conversation, which occurs randomly. According to the local dealer the Nexus 4 is not supported with this system. I suspect it may be something with the modern Bluetooth standards the Nexus support and aren't maybe fully supported by the audio system.
Is there a way to solve this? Is there a way to downgrade the Bluetooth capabilities since he uses Bluetooth only in the car? Would really appreciate any solution since he would love to avoid buying an external Bluetooth headset and not using the car built in speakers.
Hi,
Has anyone had any issues after connecting to some bluetooth audio devices where it shows paired but audio plays out the phone loudspeaker and not the bluetooth device?
The issue can be resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting to said bluetooth device but it can be very frustrating or dangerous if driving. I've had it happen with a JBL Charge 2+, Logitech bluetooth receiver, and my car.
I'm wondering if anyone has been having or seen the same issue and if anyone might know how to resolve this.
Note: Running stock 7.0 on 5.2" zenfone 3.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I recently got my LG G6. I'm really satisfied with it. Especially the camera and the performance , but I have a problem with my hands-free equipment in my car .
Everytime I want to use the phone as audio source e.g. Spotify I would have to un-pair and pair the devices again .
I have a Volkswagen Passat 2014 with a RNS 315 and original hands-free equipment.
I can pair the devices without any problem. Also the "connected with audio equipment" option will be displayed on the phone. After a few seconds this option disappears in the overview of the connection details, only "use hands-free" and "sync phone book" will be displayed on the phone. Only in the overview of paired devices I can see that it is connected to the car as audio source. I can use the steering wheel buttons to switch between the tracks and the current title displays on the car radio.
The problem:
After the phone disconnects form the car (remove the key) and it reconnects gain (starting the car again) the phone do not recognize the A2DP protocol anymore and it just connects as hands-free without the ability to play music over the car speakers. I can use the steering wheel controls to switch the music title and the car also displays the current title, but the audio comes from the phone and not from the car speakers. But the car displays the phone as hands-free and audio source.
I had no problem with my Nexus 5X. I have already tried to clear the bluetooth cache and data. I have already tried with an other LG G6 and there was the same problem.
Is there any way to enforce A2DP even if the phone do not recognize it anymore?
The phone software is V11g-EUR-XX with security patch level 6th November 2017.
I hope anyone can help me, because I don't want to send it back.
Same issue here. I have to unpair and pair again if I want media playback to the car. I have tried pretty much every solution I came across and nothing worked apart from pairing again. Having said that, I think the problem is both with the RNS315 and the G6. I had a similar issue with the Note 3 but disconnecting and reconnecting was enough so I was using trigger to get around it. I have a small hope the oreo update may fix it.
Hello everyone,
I have a real weird issue with my phone when trying to connect it to my car stereo using BT. I use a MiBand 2 and whenever I connect the band to my phone(Mi Fit app active), I cannot connect my phone to the car stereo . If I unpair the band (Mi Fit app still active) I have no issues connecting the two devices.
Anyone has an idea on how to workaround this issue?
(BTW, even in the new Oreo release I still have the issue)
Thanks in advance
Do you use stock rom? You can connect a few speakers on ironman or resurrection roms.
Or maybe try turning off bluetooth settings like phone calls for miband, etc. Try different combinations
Hello,
I bought an Android radio for my car. It is an Android 8 from Pumpkin the Model ND1071B. It works fine so far, only the FM connection is not how I like it but that's more of an hardware issue I think.
At the moment I want to cennect my Sony Walkman with the radio via Bluetooth to play the music that I have on it. But I can not find a way to get it working. When I search via the radios Bluetooth menu for the Walkman, it does find it.
When I search via the Walkman for the Radio I find it and it does connect but I get no response from the radio.
Do I need an update or an other App?
Thanks for any Help

You most likely won't be able to bluetooth it. The bluetooth ability on these machines is pretty much restricted to phones and basic obd2 adapters. There hasn't ever been much success in connecting anything beyond that.
If your walkman has a wired earphone output jack then probably the best way is a hard wire connection between the earphone jack and the aux av input on your pumpkin.
Interesting, I thought Bluetooth is somewhat universal.
Is that a software problem or a hardware issue?
PS: I once got it working I connected my Walkman and the sound was played at my radio. I never got it working again.
