im using custom android 7 rom but the sound looks really bad compared to the sound on stock rom
if i take the stock rom mixer_paths file and replace it on the custom rom
will it work fine ?

I WANT TO START A NEW THREAD COMPARING THE OVERALL QUALITY OF DIFFERENT ROMS MAINLY INTERESTED IN THE AUDIO AND CAMERA QUALITY AND ANY DIFFERENCE WHILE FLASHING DIFFERENT KERNELS.
I'M CURRENTLY USING TEMASEK ROM ON BEOFFLA KERNEL,I'M PERSONALLY NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE DSP MANAGER AND VIPER4ANDROID ON OPO.

Audio and camera quality is moreorless the same across ROMs, so the ROM doesn't really matter and it all comes down to your equipment. I can only recommend a good player.
You have opened the thread in the wrong section. This is not android development.
As mentioned above this is not ROM dependent unless the developer specifically includes some Mods in the ROM.
Viper4android should work well if u set it properly as per your requirement and .... have good earphones.
Also use kitkat roms or lolipop roms with v4a already implemented so that v4a is installed perfectly.
so here's the problem I am on KitKat the cloudy G2 ROM and I like the dorminax kernel for the sound improvements I would like to upgrade to lollipop is there a kernel that works with either stock or aosp lollipop that have the sound enhancements and improvements? I've taken a look but I haven't been able to really determine if either the kernel will have the sound enhancements or if it will be compatible. I am using a D801 and lollipop stock just came out for it... And what I mean by sound enhancements is when you flash the dorminax kernel it makes the phone output a much stronger signal providing for better quality music

What is the best rom for i9505 performance with full working all need feature like gps, camera, bluetooth and other?
For Camera stock based is best. Bes custom for me is JDCTeam 7.1.2 LineageOS ROM. Simply the perfect. Well customised, tweaked etc. Great performance and battery life compared to other ROMs. Only drawback is camera quality (like the rest of any Custom ROM)

I installed this rom. Viper sound equalizer not working for me
That's kinda a known issue. It's not ROM related. Please remove Viper or install latest version. Or just simply use Audio FX (standard). Can be selected during Aroma Installer.

In pie rom volumes are very louder with no bass we need stock rom quality in pie rom plz port anyone
