There is no 4K in the media profiles.
But their is movie creator in the update and ar effect of course. There is also simple home.

4K needs Processor Support and HW support too. Suppose Camera can take 4K image but the processor can't process it, it's useless

snapdragon 800 is more than capable of recording in 4K. Look at the G2 and Note 3.
I am just hoping some amazing devs will port 4k recording to Z1

Its Not just abt S800 and 2GB Ram,it also depends on camera sensor.
To Shoot A 4K Vid(3840 pixels × 2160 pixels) you need at least 8.3MP Sensor,while ZU Has Only 8.0MP
G2 Has 13MP
Note 3 also has 13MP
So I think we will get 4K rec. Officially.

Hello All, Im very interested in having 4K video recording on our E7 device..As you all have seen the camera sensor OV16825 is very capable of recording 4K and our processor too is capable of handling 4k at ease.Ive contacted many devs for this but some are saying that its too much to want..only person helping me is Jishnu Sur. yes the guy porting 4k and 120fps to G2.Ive continued to study all the things and at this time i came to the conclusion that it looks there is little hope.. See the pics ive attached first is of gionee camera app second one is of one plus one. any body willing to help??

bro both devices have different sensors and both require different libs..so flashing doesnt help...btw ive tried that camera app it fc's on my device..

Well, the libs are generated while compiling.
I heard Gionee is working hard to put 4k record in the e7 with the kk update. I can´t wait to get this phone

no but dunno how gionee has messed up with front camera as other camera app detects it as 1080 capable..looks we need cam sources for this..

our sensor is capable of recording 2k and 4k videos at 60fps look over at omnision website..

Well, we should be able to get the max out of our cam once we get hold of proper kernel sources.. There are some interesting files in the sources. Look into the camera dtsi files in the source..

Yes it does change with the actual camera app. Bro don't try it. Cause it ain't made for Xperia z5 64bit system sorry. If you any z-z3 phn or any other Xperia 32bit lollipop u can use this mod. Thanks. Keep in touch.

Antutu score

Hi guys, why my antutu score is so low compared to OP3 (especially on 3D) ? It's even lower than the old G5. I'm using v10t open stock rom

Strange, my G6 scored 144325 points with the same benchmarking app.
Your test seems to lack in 3D performances.
I did not stop any app before I run the bench.

1. don't give a **** about benchmarks
2. use the onboard Smart Doctor before Benchmark
3. Stop all your social waste apps like Facebook or better deinstall it, takes a lot of performance
4. LG G6 Display got a much higher resolution, this needs more performance
5. Oneplus is cheating on Benchmarks
So, don't give a f u c k about those things

Update : i did another test with "force gpu rendering" option on and with game battery saver off. My score increased but i saw on youtube that other variant of G6 can reach up to 160k

Point 4 doesn't matter here because AnTuTu does the 3D benchmark at 1080p

Just a stock v10t-EUR-XX Vodafone IT Branded firmware (no root) with many bloatware disabled.

Excpecially the point 5 should avoid any benchmark comparison with OnePlus smartphones

also, changing to the latest available antutu (outside of google play store) changed my score too, 140k+ is on par with snapdragon 821 devices and you shouldn't fret about the small differences. Try Geekbench
