I wonder if some could make a live wallpaper of the S8 official wallpaper (purple/pink field) where the clouds are moving like in the end of this S8 advertisement. https://youtu.be/mKSVpOwB_jU?t=56s
great idea

I was planning to install the Windmill live wallpaper on my Note which I have on my Nexus One so I was pleased to find it already available on the Note. I liked how it looked on the Nexus One but when I tried it on the Galaxy Tab the icons obscured it too much. It looks better on the Note than the Nexus One and I don't suppose there is any need to worry about the amount of resources it is using as I did on the Nexus One.

Anyone know where I can get the new touchwiz theme pictured above? Im using a note 3 with an s5 rom, but I cant find that "pro" s5 touchwiz theme in the theme settings.
No. That was the original S5 TouchWiz design which was rejected due to pressure from Google.
Google was not impressed at Samsung's severe deviation from the Android experience, and the two companies have agreed to work closer together to keep certain Samsung products such as the Galaxy product category more in line with the Android experience.
What do u guys think? Will our S7 edge get the new updated Grace UX and other things like the new and improved AOD? Officially I mean of course not via ports!
btw why can't someone just port Note 7 rom without adding a ton of "features/tweaks" just a simple 1:1 port? Do u think someone will resist the urge to put his nickname in the Buildnumber section or add 7 billion things to the power off menu?
anyone?
I'm sure some will. The software stuff usually ends up in a future uodate.
HDR streaming capabilities
Someone mentioned a camera app with more features in the Note7 but there's not much I would fault with the stock S7 one. I would certainly not want them (Samsung) to mess with the algorithms.
More user flexibility in Edge facilities and AOD with 3rd party app notifications are about as much as I like.
Add a fourth 'user' screen colour adjustable slider and I'd be even happier. (I use Screen Balance at present, not bad either).
Tbh, I am more interested in Nougat (which, incidentally, has screen tint/white balance adjustments. At least at the moment but they may not make it into a final version).
Hi guys! I've searched a lot and I couldn't find anything about the "edge" customization.
I've seen there is a lot of apps/feeds/panels for galaxy note edge and s6 edge, but not for our s7e.
I am a biologist not a developer, not even a programmer. But I would like to know if there is a way to port those note edge or s6 apps te the s7e 935f.
For example, the edge clock & weather of the s6e.
Also, I would like to know if it could be possible to customize AOD display to stay on the edge or to customize night clock
To move like AOD to slow down burn-in.
I feel the edge screen and AOD capability have a lot of potential and I see no interest in these forums which has taken me for surprise, since you are always creative and develop cool features
Thanks guys!
Nico
Hello,
There are some apps, but very few, and most of them are paid. I was also wondering why this gets such little attention, I also think that AOD and even nigth clock have GREAT opportunities, but nobody seems to be interested.
I know that we will get the updated AOD with the Nougat firmware, that it nice, but nothing new for the night clock. Also no interesting Edge feeds and Edge panels to download. Even in the app store there is nothing significant for us.
I thought that maybe modders will make some cool stuff, but here on XDA it is also a dead topic....
I think the issue is more the amount of Time to put into developing a app thats only specific to two model types:
S6 edge and S7 edge.
While if you develop a standard app, your open to the whole market.
I think the time in developing and upkeep might not justify the attention and downloads on such a specific device.
I know people who have developed apps for the Note series using the Spen
That had a wider market or 3/4 device series and still his sales where not as much as he would of expected.
Hello,
Is it possible to get the S8 launcher that won't look funny without the softkeys?
I hope you understand what I mean, launcher that has the dock in the same position as the original S7 edge has..
