Hey
Had my Nexus 10 for a couple of weeks. Everything working great until I noticed a strange area on the screen. Its most prominent on blacks and when the brightness is 100%. It kinda looks like the colour has faded and has a purple tint. It doesn't seem to change when the screen is pressed. The pics attached explain it better, although apologies for poor quality
The tablet hasn't been dropped or exposed to water. The marks are not present when the screen is off.
It's in warranty so I don't mind sending it back, but thought I'd check and see if anyone else has experienced this / has advice.
Cheers!

I believe this is what they call a screen burn-in.
Hello
I recently bought used Galaxy S4 i9506. The problem is strange looking screen above Samsung logo, where sensors and front cam are located.
It looks like different color under glass, I'm not sure but rather it's not an air, cause nothing happens when I press/squeeze it.
It's only visible in very bright light, I've noticed it few days after receiving in when there was a sunny day.
Could You take a look at pictures I made with DSLR. What do You think? Is it normal?
Not normal. I suspect the previous owner replaced the glass with a cheap (i.e. fake) substitute.
Hi Guys,
So yesterday I've received my OP2, really satisfied with it. However I noticed that the bottom part of the screen is a bit yellowish.
I did a bit of research and it seems that OP1 users have had the same problem and it could be just glue that still needs to dry.
This also means that it would be gone in a week or two (or faster if exposed to sunlight/UV light some more).
Has anyone else noticed this?
My screen is perfectly white and even. Might want to contact the CS and see what's up?
On second thought.. I don't even notice it anymore... weird.. Maybe the viewing angle because when I noticed it yesterday I was lying sideways in bed.
Thankfully mine is yellow band free this time. It was the first thing I looked for after having it on my OPO, which despite all the success stories of UV rays solving it etc, it never went away.

Hi all,
Looked at my nice shiny new phone on the desk this morning in direct sunlight with the screen off and was shocked to see a huge ripple through the display.
I did some googling and it looks just like this on the Edge.

Seems they all have this minor defect. It's only noticeable under direct sunlight or a very bright light but I'm not too happy about it given the price of this device
Anyone else have the same thing?
Not that crazy, but yes we all have that.
yes normal. Even worse if if you ever use your screen in direct sunlight, and in full brightness, go look at a white background and you'll see patches of grey. That 'issue' was on the first S6 edge as well.
Hello. I attached link for 3 pictures. All 3 have strange spots. I have seen in a different situation this problem but now the spots are just too hard to ignore. Practically it displays things that are not there. I'm thinking , could it be some kind of reflection from the stadium's lighting pillar ? It sure looks that way. I noticed that this situation didn't appear on all photos. What is your opinion ? Thanks

It's the lens reflecting the light from the stadium. S7's lenses have that "problem". Happens to me often at night.
Thank you, my doubts of having a defective camera are gone !
