Is there a way to use the Edge Panel feature in horizontal viewing mode? I don't see the faint tab on the side.

Not sure when this started, but if a program has buttons near the bottom of the screen, in portrait or landscape, they're partially covered at the moment by the softkeys bar - the bar that says Calendar + Contacts eg....
It's really making my MySportTraining in particular a ***** to use, coz it's tabs are all at the bottom. Any thoughts?
Hi, I just received my PixelQi Adam Tablet today and I immediately noticed before and after I rooted my adam that the screen alignment is off like for example, when I open the market or browser (or any app), the top of the screen is cut off by the notification bar and it's very annoying because I can't access the top of the screen. Is there any way to fix this problem? Shouldn't the top of the screen end where the notification bar is and not be under the notification bar?
tap the upper left corner, this should make the bar slide to the left
i have a gsm treo pro and once i install apps on the vertical sliding bar increases in size, reducing the programs and settings page from 3 icons to 2. it also reduces the viewing space of some apps that rely on the vertical sliding bar.
is there a fix for this?
thank you in advance.
I tried toggling expanded desktop on and off but noticed no difference, so what is it for?
bye
I do have the same question
I belive it hides the top bar and bottom soft keys. Basically show the "desktop" in full screen mode.
Or it should.
Hi I just received my s10+ today.
I wanted to disable edge panels but when I do so I still have a "shadow" of the edge panel only in the home screen and in the lockscreen as shown on my screenshot.
Do you know how to fix that?
Go to Settings - display - edge screen - edge panel - 3 vertical dots on the right after the search icon - edge panel handle - transparency - slide to high.
I still have a shadow even when I disable it. But I think it is an issue with Nova Launcher cause it is only shown on the homescreen and lockscreen
