I looked at Sammobile for an unupdate for N910T and I did not see anything - the only thing listed is the Original Stock Tar for this phone - maybe they haven't updated yet?

Maybe just for octa core version?

The way I understand it and the way it looks if you google it a bit, you will
find that this XXU1ANJ4 update will be for the international Note 4's.

I didn't get the update either.

People, there is no update.
Well there is one, but it's for the general international version. As history has taught us these devices get updates the first. T-mobile has to decide if they will implement this update (which they normally will) but this usually takes weeks (or months).

I doubt it.

I hope they roll out the update asap after launch. My battery life is less than my s5 - not terrible, , but not as great as my s5. Been off the charger since 7:30 and it's 11:30 now with 82% left , no GPS, bluetooth always on.

Yes it does. Unroots you and now I fighting to get root back

Got it back but was a pain but it all good

Just finished the update. Everything is noticeably snappier and more fluid! Woo-hoo!

I got it for 68K black color without bill ofcourse 2 months back. The reason for this high price in my case I only wanted the model number SM-N915G not another which ends for "S" or "U" etc. The 915G model is made for Singapore, Australia & INDIA. This makes it better to support indan networks and upgrading to Indian Firmwares from SamMobiles. This is atleast my thought
BTW I even have now 3 - 4 cases for the case
1. Official Note Edge Samsung Flip Case - I have 2 of them so someone wants let me know
2. UAG Note Edge Case - Love it and currently using it
3. Verus Case - in 3 colors, some of them is packed as well. I have it Red, Silver & Black. I am planing to sell the Red one.

Better you should go for with bill from flip kart or snapdeal

The stock samsung news scroller (Yahoo) is useless in India. Wish we had an alternative for a news scroller for edge

the phone is here but where is the lollipop update, this is really ridiculous of samsung.

I dont actually expect an update till atleast end march the way things are going. The note 4 hasnt even started getting the update yet here in India.

It's really horrible. My S4 is on lollipop officially but not My note edge

Actually we seem to have spoken too soon. Lolipop has just come out for the Australian G version. Which means we should also get one soon.

Hello Everyone.
I need review for the lollipop update of the galaxy note edge in india. If anyone has updated, can you please confirm the following :-
1. Has the shutter button in the camera app shifted from the edge screen to the main screen near the home button after the lollipop update.
2. Is the edge screen and its old functions working normally like utility tool such as ruler and flashlight on the edge screen?
3. Any other bugs observed after the new update?

VZW 5.0.1 Update....Finally!

So I plug my phone into my laptop at work and, to my surprise, VZW Update Assistant launched notifying me of an update. Sure enough, it's the Lollipop update! Let me know if any of you Big Red guys received this as well!

I have Samsung Kies and VZW Software Update Utility on my laptop. As soon as I plugged my phone in a message in the lower corner of the screen popped up saying an update was available.

Not a problem at all, my friend!

Surprise! The download/update started 3 hours ago and now has failed. I go to start the repair option and it said my phone is not charged enough to repair. WONDERFUL.

Ah! I just got a reimaged Verizon Note Edge back from Samsung (it had developed a line of dead pixels and was fixed) ... Kies 3 keeps saying the device is not supported, and when I plug it in the Verizon Software Update doesn't pop up.
EDIT: Surface Pro 3 doesn't have enough amps for this device ... got it working when I plugged in to the dock.

Not a problem. I was thinking that VZW may have been holding off on 5.0.1 and update us right to 5.1.1. Wishful thinking, I know. Now all we need is root.

Just updated without wiping. Going on an hour of updating a lot of apps, reactivating advanced calling, and making a few tweets. So far it's running decent after 5 or 6 restarts. Thanks for the heads up!!! Definitely wish that it would have been 5.1.
Funny thing is the Edge beat my girlfriends Droid Turbo that is getting the soak test as we speak. I used to have a turbo and got the soak and was pissed. Now she is pissed that I have lollipop. Lol.

Finally!

I used Verizon update asst. 25 mins I was all updated.. Kies takes forever.

I fought with the verizon program and I was able to recover my edge to lollipop after it had soft brick. Running the program as an admin finally got it to see the phone again when it was stuck in download mode. Just a note for any others having issues.

Is anyone else having trouble changing their lock screen animation? It says tiles but it's greyed out so I can't click on it and it's just a plain lock screen

Kies and Verizon Software Assistant
Both Kies and Verizon Software Assistant bricked my phone, in both cases they got to around 50% and then an error. I was able to fix by downloading the firmware (I could only find this on one SLOW server) and flashing myself using Odin.

New firmware released, 45.0.A.7.137

I just got the new firmware last night on my XZP dual. it comes with September security patch and improved WiFi performance, bugs fixes, optimisations & improvements (written on the update log).
What I noticed was that stuttering on Facebook app is almost gone (heavily stuttered on previous firmware especially when open some external links). Touchscreen issue is gone (I suspected this issue happened earlier due to network incompatibility that slows down the phone to the point that touch input is not recognized sometimes, it could be temporarily solved by removing sim card or swapping between sim slot 1 and 2(only possible on dual sims variant) This problem does not happen to everyone).
Will update if I find any interesting changes.

Thanks for your thread! It reminds me what i wanted to do if i got some free time. Haha... I saw that yesterday on sonymobile.com but I had no time to check it in depth. I will do that now, because they also planned to do changes for unlocked devices (no green pictures anymore) a few months ago. Would be awesome if they really did that. And I hope that they fixed the other bugs, too. I also noticed the stuttering on Facebook and some other apps.
Edit: XperiFirm actually has only the "Customized TH" @ 45.0.A.7.137 for the G8142. Have to wait for the others. But I will take a look at this version now.

Nothing here on the G8141, NL in the EU.

No, I don't use all-time 4K. XZP just automatically takes screenshots in 4K.

It's simple, open the image with the web browser (right click on it and open photo in another tab) and save it on your computer/smartphone and after go on his proprietis (right click on the file) and you will find, on the details tab, the size of the photo easly

I took this screenshot earlier cause someone said it wasn't true 4K. So yea. Even the launcher ones are 4K.

Only Thailand is having the update. I wonder why. I didn't get July patch so I am assuming Some won't get this.

I'm on a carrier specific firmware and think about flashing a generic one. Do you guys know which files should I omit in newflasher to not mess up with the encryption because I don't want a factory reset?

I have Samsung Verizon variant S10 plus and I came across this in one of the button menus when you boot up the phone. g795u

Photo is blurred but i would say your phone is in download mode.

I don't know why you think you have a S10+ - the photo is a S8+ or S9+.

Whats G795U? The S10+ is SM-G975 F or U ect.

To help you out a bit from the picture it looks like you got either an s8+ or s9+ and with locked has to be more specific because locked could be bootloader locked you can't root or carrier locked meaning you can't use it with other providers like sprint or T-mobile etc.

I dont think you understand.. the s10+ has a camera cutout in top right.. you cannot see it in a screenshot lmao.. plus all of your screenshots are so blurry you cant see anything..
to add, if you do have a g975u (which based on what youve shown so far you dont) the oem unlock in dl mode doesnt do anything.. the bl is not unlockable.

this picture clearly does not have a camera cutout like all s10+ models have hence why everyone is saying you dont have an s10+

taking some other pics with the cutout and posting here doesnt change the fact your op picture is not a g975u that you claim it to be.

doesnt matter.. it is visible if sys.oem_unlock_allowed=1 but it doesnt actually unlock the bl.. all it will do is wipe the device and not be unlocked still
