Is there a list of safe to remove or freeze apps for the Sprint HTC 10?
I've searched here and on Google. I've only found a list for the HTC One.
If there isn't a list maybe one could get started.

Here's a list of some, not specific to Sprint, but pretty much the same list of apps I manually uninstalled using Titanium.

What can't I uninstall when I root it? I saw that you can't uninstall virtual voicemail cause it is tied into the system, need to know the others.
What major things should I uninstall when I do root it?
I don't any of the bloatware applications at all.
I removed Visual Voicemail and haven't had any problems.

It all comes down to a matter of opinion and need. What do you personally use. Do a search and you'll find that some people have found that the bloatware for some things like the pre-loaded Slacker Radio and Layar may prompt you to pay. So if you want those, remove them and install the normal ones from the market to get the free versions. If you go to the top of the Vibrant General forum there is a Tips & Tricks thread started by s15274n. Search for the word Bloat. He links to a great topic on removing Bloatware where you can find tons of advice and peoples opinions on what they have removed.
I installed Gingerbread Launcher on MyTouch 4G.
But i still have Sense UI running.
Is there any way to uninstall it?
You should be able to with titanium backup.as long as you're rooted and s-off. I'm not sure if you'll have any issues from uninstalling sense tho, might want to backup just in case.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
I use launcher pro and I deleted all apks concerned with sense from my system/app folder. Just delete anything with widget after it, and delete rosie.apk. Just don't mess with the actual weather/news apks. News is labeled greader. Widgets are okay to delete. Just not the actual apps themselves. You will get lots of fc notices. That will kill htc sense. It sped my phone up a lot to get rid of it.

I deleted my weather and news apk's and don't have any FC's. Your suggestion is not totally accurate. It is safe to remove them. Removing actual apps is OK as long as you know which ones are OK to remove.
Please double check your facts before posting tips/advice.
I only posted that advice because of personal experience. I had deleted the weather apk and I got lots of fcs for com.htc.bgp. When I restored my backup, I tried again and got the same fcs.
So I was playing around with Titanium backup and used the market doctor feature and accidentally attached apps that I have from the amazon app store to the standard android market.
I'm in the situation now where apps say that they've been purchased but it denies me when I choose to install them. The market says I need to update them etc...
My question is, How do I clear the connection to the standard android market of apps that titanium backup connected?
detach what you've attached by accident
it either doesnt work like that or i dont know how to.i cant figure out how to tell the market that ive never bought or downloaded an app.
Long press on the app(s) you want detached from the market in Titanium, select detach from market.
Sent from my Droid Incredible running some random CM7 nightly.
I still have issues with apps showing up in the market as purchased when it definitely is not. Even if I have the app fully uninstalled. This is affecting me both on my tf and my inc.
This is still present even after telling titanium to detach it.
Manage Applications > Market > Clear data/cache
Nothing is working...
The apps show up as purchased, will not let me install/update saying that I have not purchased them. Data clear, new rom, new market apk, looking through the market's online website, etc has not worked.
I wish this was a simple issue but it doesn't seem like anyone else has had experience working with it.
Is there a way to tell the android market that I have not downloaded/purchased apps on my account? aka erase my market history with the apps in question.
I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before, I couldn't find it...
Is it possible to list only my purchased apps in the Play Store under my apps. I am not a fan of the way that "My Apps - All" lists every app I have ever downloaded so I have to scroll forever to find the paid apps I actually want to re-install after a ROM re-install.

Why not just backup those paid apps and save them in different location then just reinstall them after new ROM installed?

I guess I could do a restore through Titanium Backup. I don't have any good reason, I just like to re-install apps from the market.
As far as I know there is know way to do this.
I also find it a real pain in the neck as my kids have installed hundreds of games so I have to to scroll down for ages to find my purchased apps.
I wish there was a way to delete things from "My Apps" but people have been complaining about this for months but Google has never responded to this.

I use appbrain. It lets you make custom lists to only show the apps you want. You can install from appbrain OR it can send you directly to the market. It makes installing the apps you want simple and easy.
So I've done a couple factory resets while setting up my new VS995, rooting, etc.
It seems that after initial setup and sometimes even following a couple of reboots more apps just install out of nowhere.
On my last flash the first thing I did was go and freeze all the VZW apps (I'm not with Verizon anymore) and seemingly even after this some additional apps installed.
I don't recall all of them, but there was definitely:
- Yahoo Finance
- Yahoo Newsroom
- Yelp
And 2 or 3 others.
Does anyone know what is causing these apps to install? They don't seem to come back after I remove them.

Thanks. I haven't dealt with this app before on older phones. Quick google search shows it's uber-annoyingness.

Are you sure playstore is not installing them? I. Would also suggest you uninstall them instead of just freezing. No point in having them frozen if you don't use them.

I'm not freezing them. I'm freezing the Verizon system apps. It is clear if you look up what Dtignite is that this must be the culprit.
I wasn't able to actually observe if they were installed through the Play Store or through some back channel, but they were clearly getting installed as user apps after the phone was setup. The good part about it is that even though it is bloatware, Dtignite installs it all as user, so it is easy to uninstall.
I just didn't know what was triggering the installs.
Welcome to Verizon. Its dtignite in earlier versions and mobile system something in newer updates, but it still has the purple swirly icon.
