[Q] How to run CM11 nightly with GAPPS

I'm trying to get CM11 nightly with GApps working. I have installed cm-11-20140909-NIGHTLY-hlte.zip (found on official CM.org website) and GApps package 20140606 found there too using clockworkmod 6.0.4.8
Though when I launch the phone there are no GApps available. Does anyone know why?
I tried stable CM11 version M8 but I has no signal so it is not really an option here.

Which would you recommend gapps package etc Open Gapps,Delta Gapps..

I use OpenGapps full package often, but mini pack is a good alternative too.

I always use OpenGapps, pico package... I hate Google Photos and Google Camera, as well as Google Now, that's why I use this package!!

Pico is the best- small & suitable

I use OpenGapps,pico package because it is the smallest one.

Google store not working after new rom

So i flashed this rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/orig-development/beta-cyanogenmod-12-1-tank0412-t3285392 also flashed Gapps but for some reason google play didint instal... i instaled apk manualy (only store)it crashes when i try to download something

Maybe you are not install gapps bro.
Google play store available with gapps.

Just a advice always use the ROM which is currently supported by the developer .

google services instaled, google search, but not google play
I would like to instal new CM 13.0 but i dont know how... and probobly i need new kernel... because on this it says i can wakeup when double tap but i cant (i checked this function is enabled)

Ah , I see the ROM you used .
Use lineage os or cm 13 by xanwar no gapps problem in them . personally tested .steps for flashing them .
Code:
flash the latest twrp by xanwar for avoiding errors .
Download the ROM and other addons
Put them into sdcard
Boot to twrp
Wipe everything
Reboot to twrp
Flash ROM and addons
Reboot system

But this rom have 5,1 android i was using CM 12.

Which opengapps is appropriate for potter? Arm64?
Which opengapps version is the minimalist that still provides the password manager for apps? I like having the password auto fill for apps as they reinstall after flashing.

For custom ROMs Arm64 is supported,you can install mini or micro with minimal apps.

I prefer pico, the smallest package. You can install the rest from playstore. And yes, for custom ROMs you need arm64.

With pico do apps install and auto insert username/pw? For some reason i thought you had to install a gapps version that comes with chrome for this account sync feature to work.

That's a Chrome feature. You can install Chrome later from playstore like every other app.
Pico contains only google play services and package installer, these are not available in playstore. If you want the Google app (search) too take the nano package. Everything else you can get in playstore.

GAPPS For Syberia Project, Ressurection Remix

Hi guys, so I installed Resurrection Remix and Syberia Project, when flashing it wont accept ARM64, only accept ARM, but when installed ARM, the gapps is no where to be found. Is redmi note 7 ARM64 or ARM? Why it would not accept ARM64 GAPPS on both of the custom ROM?

Have you tried Orange Fox Recovery? https://forum.xda-developers.com/re.../official-orangefox-recovery-project-t3941822 Some other TWRPs show that wrong ARM error.
