will this work? - Zooper Widget Templates

I have a question for the zooper pros, as I'm new to the whole zooper stuff. will this small script to tell me the how's the weather like work?
Code:
$0<#WCTEMPN#<15?COLD AS F*CK$
$15<#WCTEMPN#<25?chilly$
$25<#WCTEMPN#<35?nice and warm$
$35<#WCTEMPN#?HOT AS F*CK$
it's not fahrenheit it's celsius :silly:

Nop. it doesn't work, noticed it just a few minutes ago but not on the temp but on the time of day. I did the same thing but to say morning, afternoon, night.

Try something like that:
Code:
$#WCTEMPN#>=0?||#WCTEMPN#<15?COLD AS F_CK!$
$#WCTEMPN#>=15?||#WCTEMPN#<25?chilly$
$#WCTEMPN#>=25?||#WCTEMPN#<35?nice and warm!$
$#WCTEMPN#>=35?HOT AS F_CK!$

that's how it's always worked for me too. I finally just pulled the weather off S2U2 because it really wasn't useful, in fact I removed S2U2 completely as it interferes with BT headset stuff....
Long story short: can't be done (YET...never count it out when A_C is concerned).
Long story long:The weather display only shows the daily forecast, not the current weather. Many people have mentioned this, and I can see where a 'what temperature/condition is it NOW' icon would be great, but the forecast is pretty cool, it will at least give you an idea of the day ahead of you, and like any reminder on S2U2, you can always unlock to get more detailed info.
Did that clear anything up, or just confure you more?

HTC clock widgets constantly fidgeting

Does it bother anyone else that whenever you switch back to the home screen, the clocks reset the hands and do the little animations to spin to the correct location? The flip clock does it like it used to in TF3D too, the numbers flip over until they catch up. It seems such a waste of time and cpu cycles. I've tried the default Android clock and it is much calmer, it is always at the correct time regardless of whether you switch back or not. The down side is it isn't as attractive and doesn't take you to the clock app when you press on it.
Anyone else annoyed by this?
Indeed I find it a little annoying...not tried the different clock....
one question, are you able to change the type of clock on your profile?
I seem to be only be able to select different front clocks under different profiles (Scenes) so you are stuck with that clock for that scene?

You can just remove it, then add an HTC Widget and select 1 of 12 clocks (think its 12)

Genuie!!!!! Thanks dude!!!
I also found that when I changed my clock to the small one (so it still fits in the same space on the home screen), my Hero became much more responsive. It still adjusts the time with an animation every time I go to the home screen, but it seems way better. Others have suggested removing the People widget, but for me it was just a change of the clock.
Bugs the hell out of me, so much so I had to remove it.
Hope the new update fixes this problem.

I like seeing the clock flip over! I'm sure it does it by design too, it's not a fault/bug.

It is a fault, the clock widgets can't store the time. So everytime you enter the idle screen it updates the clock.

I don't believe it's a fault either, judging by the way it is animated. It is just designed not to update whilst not visible.

Dave
Most if not all of the HTC clock widgets do the animation.
However, on the leaked video of the new speedier ROM, I notice the clock never updates like that, even though it is the big one with weather combined. It just changes immediately, so maybe that is part of the speed up...
i use the smallest one, digital, but not a flip. number 5 i think it is.
yes, if you look closely you can see it update when you go back to the homescreen, but it is so fast, most of the time i don't notice it, and i'm certainly not gonna sit there trying to see it happen, cos it's really not that important to me...
Maybe they added a setting to enable / disable clock animation ?
Hope so as I quite like it.
On the CDMA Hero there seems to be a bug... IN the Clock app, home location and current location show the correct time but most HTC clock widgets insist on displaying the GMT time. What's up with this?

flip clock

yeah it sounds like a question for another device from like 2 years ago but noticing my evo flip clock it doesnt flip like I have seen in numerous videos before purchasing. is there some trick to it or do I need something other than the stock sprint setup which appears to be a flip clock but just changes numbers as the time changes? thanks in advance.

Need a simple fix for 24h clock.

I'm using VillianRom 12, and it seems the 24hour clock is bugged and shows "12.03" instead of "12:03".
Someone got a quick fix for this?
Its your locale, does same with Finnish. English works fine
I detect some ocd...
Is there way to edit translations?

No.. Nor me or the Phone is high on something..
Must be some simple setting somewhere, couldn't find it after two hours so i gave up..
Sorta got used to it now, so i guess it's Ok.
"and by the 24h clock, i mean the top clock and the lockscreen clock. The vanilla lockscreen clock works fine, so the top clock is kinda annoying.."

Asus Weather Widget can't show 3 digits

I found a funny bug in the Asus Weather Widget. It doesn't show 3 digits! We just hit the triple digits here in Austin, and I've got a picture showing the widget displaying "10 degrees" in Austin. I guess those Asus guys in China forgot that we use Fahrenheit and not Celsius.
I also noticed that things like "Light rain shower" get abbreviated to something nasty like Lt.Rain.Shwr and I have had the widget break so that the temperature was on the next line below where it should be and partially cut off. It's not a very good widget!

When I read that thread I thought you MUST be in Texas. I'm in Dallas, and we hit triple well. I dumped that widget, and went with Beautiful Widgets. I actually like the Asus widgets, but for some reason the language issues are bothersome to me. I guess the weather in China doesn't go over 99 degrees.

We don't use Fahrenheit so they probably never tested what happens with 3 digits.
