Hey,
I have N910F rooted on stock MM firmware.
I have tried to flash 4 different custom roms all to which fail. Most get stuck on bootloop. Or crash and bootloop when it gets to green screen optimising apps.
I'm familiar with rooting and flashing etc but can not for the life of me get a custom ROM on this note 4. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
I've run into a little problem with my S5.
I have a G900W8, I rooted it with Towelroot and put custom recovery on it, and updated it the baseband and modem to lolipop ones.
Now, the problem is, ANY rom I put on it, the ROM would boot up fine, then after setting it would crash to the Samsung logo and boot up again and bootloop within seconds after starting up again.
In some cases after installing different roms, "process" would stop responding and the rom would crash to the Samsung logo.
If anyone can help, it's much appreciated.
If you update baseband and modem to lollipop I would assume you could only install Lp roms. I would Odin back to stock. Root recovery and go from there

I did that actually, and even with stock lp firmware, the same thing happens! And the all roms I tried after the baseband and modem update were lolipop! Any other ideas?
On download mode my note 3 shows SECURE DOWNLOAD : ENABLE in blue colour which I guess means my bootloader is locked . Whenever I flash any custom rom like cyanogen mod or any custom kernel I get stuck on kernel is not seandroid enforcing set warranty bit kernel . I'm currently on stock lollipop rom .
so my question is how to unlock note 3 bootloader so I can flash custom rom (I can flash and boot rom darkera but not cyanogenmod or aosp , aokp rom)
And how to remove SECURE DOWNLOAD : ENABLE from download mode
Please Please help
Secure download enable doesn't means locked bootloader. If your phone model is n9005, it unlocked already.

Theres no unlocking for Samsung, you have Odin for that. Flash a custom recovery with it, boot in there and install the custom ROM. Done. There are dozens of manuals for that in here ^^ (Thats the 3rd time I post this one in a row... GUYS, ONE POST IS ENOUGH!)

Information about to be flashed ROM, current ROM, current mobile, COMPLETE error message like.... by taking a picture of it, would be quite useful. Otherwise noone can help you because sadly the mods disabled glass ball support in here
Hi, I need some help.
I have Note 3 SM-N9005 Lollipop 5.0 stock rom (N9005XXEGBNL8) and rooted with TWRP recovery. I really want Xposed, tried to flash it and got stuck in bootloop, so I tried deodexing my rom, I did it with Joel Droid Lollipop Batch Deodexer, it went well until I tried to install it with TWRP, instant bootloop again, then I tried flashing any custom rom with TWRP and before flashing I always do advanced wipe, but nothing helps, roms doesn't even start installing, my phone just reboots and I'm in a bootloop again, but after flashing rom bootloop is different it doesn't show Samsung logo it just shows Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005. So my question is can it be bootloader and if so how can I unlock it? Or is it something entirely different?
Please help...

To the phone back to stock, flash the phone with Odin and a stock ROM from Sammobile.com.
Hello everybody,
I run into a strange problem with my 910F (never had this problem before with other smartphones).
Any non-stock thing I try to flash (custom recovery, ROMs like Evolution, Ketan, CM, BattleHero, SimpleROM, etc.) lead to a boot-loop.
It simply refuses to boot.
The only way to recover it is to flash from Odin N910FXXU1BOC5_N910FPHE1BOD1_N910FXXU1BOC4_HOME.tar.md5 ROM.
Then it boots, upgrades to Marshmallow, but it's a pure Samsung ROM with lots of bloatware and no root.
Attempt to flash root (like UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.40.zip) from recovery mode also fails.
Any idea what could be?
Thanks!

That sounds strange. With all other Samsung smartphones I had there were no problems to reflash them.
And, I finally installed Philz custom recovery and yes, it permits to flash any ROM, but - the same boot loop problem
You have to flash appropriate bootloader/modem though Odin first, also try to use TWRP recovery.
and which bootloader/modem would you recommend?
I flashed several ones and still had the bootloop problem.
Hello guys,
After stock OTA update phone started to randomly reboot and sometimes got stuck in bootloop.
I Flashed stock ROM over ODIN 3.14 ,got stuck at S7 logo, then i flashed TWRP and tried to flash like 10 roms with no succes, tried to reflash Stock rom, sometimes it goes to SAMSUNG logo but bootloops there.
My device is SM-G935F t-mobile version, twrp is crashing randomly while installing custom roms, tried lineage and got boot loop there,i maybe messed up when i went in TWRP and formated all to ext4.
This is stock rom i used https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/g...e/SM-G935F/CRO/download/G935FXXS7ETA7/315446/
i marked BL,AP,CP,CSC and picked corresponding files,I tried to flash older TWRP but still same problems, and also when i flash stock rom i get to blue erasing screen where it freezes, seems to me like there is no fastboot or smth.
I am trying to fix this for 3 days, any help is welcome, sorry for my bad english and thank you in advance.
Make sure you are using odin 3.13. Then you will be able to flash without problems:fingers-crossed:
I've been trying to load a custom ROM up on this Canadian G903W for a little while with no success. I can get TWRP on with ODIN but once I go to install any ROM available on XDA the phone will not boot. Just hangs at the Samsung logo. I eventually had to boot back to original stock firmware to get it working again.
What am I doing wrong?
Did you both try official LineageOS 17.1?
Same
Same issue mate. The 903W seems to be neglected, I had a hell of a time getting twrp to flash even (turns out all you have to do is stock rom flash first).
I'll see if I can get an eng build and debug the bootloops.
