Hello guys,
Did anyone experience ghost touches on the OP2?
I saw old topics already, but it's mostly talking about the phone being in charghing.
I own a OnePlus One and I had similar issues on the past which I was able to fix by flashing a custom kernel. A friend asked me if I can fix the same issue on the OP2, but by looking on the internet, the problem is not very common so I was thinking of a physical damage on the touch panel since he says that the issue is mostly happening on the lower side of the screen.
Here's a screenshot of the infos he sent me, maybe it's OS related and I'm not aware of oxygen current problems since I'm running COS13.1 on my OPO and I'm not keeping myself updated on other stuff lately.

Yeah, i had the same issue with mine, usually just locking & unlocking helps it a little. i have no idea whats causing it, i did send mine in for repair due to this issue, but they said nothing was wrong with the digitizer at all.
According to the company it was some kind of lag.
I recommend just letting it charge before you use it.
I hope this helped you in some way =)
Has anyone encountered this before.
It happens or is most visible on dark areas of the screen and gives off a twinkling effect when scrolling. I have tried different Roms, Kernels and resorting to stock but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.

wow. thats strange. if it was a physical defect (as in the LCD is damaged) then it wouldnt translate over to the screenshot. so it must be software related...but youve changed roms....this hurts my head a little bit. can you RMA it?
oh wow, that reminds me of what would happen when i overclocked my video card too high on my old computer. i would definitely say thats a hardware malfunction... a legitimate RMA
Today all of a sudden I am facing this dead spot problem with LG G2 , it was working fine as of this morning , didn't drop the phone, no scratch or anything. Currently running Android 4.2.2. Is there any way to fix this problem.
Can't claim warranty :/

same problem
am having the same problem it showed up out of the blue this week. If you have found a solution, let Me know. If I find one, I'll let you know.
There are like.. Six thousand other threads about this issue.. There are fixes in there. Try searching.
which fix so far didn't find any fix.
Battery problems are a dime a dozen, I know, but this one cropped up in the last few days and I want to check if it's affecting anyone else.
I have a stock, 5.0 I-9505G, and the kernel (Android OS) and Android System have spiked in usage the past week. I suspect it's connected to a Google Play Services update, but I haven't seen other reports on it.
Anyone else's stock kernel acting out? What would your all recommend?

It's caused by an app, some setting in your phone etc. If you can't figure it out, then try a factory reset.
