Hi, I'm new here. Is there any (complete with required programs, etc) guide for flashing this rom to ZE601KL?
Like is it necessary to unlock bootloader or root or stuff?
Step by step guide is preferable.
Thank you.
yes, it is necessary to unlockootoader, after you unlock botloader you have to flash twrp recovery, then eboot into recovry and wipe cache, system & dalvik cache and then flash the cm14 flash file and gapps

Hello.
So i've flashed Lineage 28May Build and this automaticly encrypt my device ...
I've read on the internet that if the device is encrypted the flash process is a bit diferent.
I've read about wipe data cache dalvik and system
wipe data cache dalvik system and internal storage
And flash adb ...
So, now i tried to go to TWRP and it just apears Mi Logo!
Not booting into any recovery (Stock or TWRP)
I've installed Miui.eu and the recovery is ok
I flash Lineage and i can't boot into recovery anymore ...
What to do?
Issues :
1 - Can't boot into TWRP
2 - What process is to flash a new Lineage Rom? ( I want to decrypt my device to flash more easily)
I really need help ...
I don't know if my bootloader is unlocked or locked right now, because i flashed too many roms ...
Need help !

1)Try to reflash twrp from fastboot mode.(if you can't do this, then your bootloader is locked. And no matter how many roms you install, bootloader, once unlocked remains unlocked, untill you lock purposefully).
2)In twrp wipe cache, dalvik, and if necessary data for clean installation.
3) Once any custom ROM is installed, while in mi logo , you cannot directly boot to twrp. You have to go to fastboot and from there boot to twrp.
4) First install only ROM. Once it gets installed turn it on. Once it successfully turns on, then you can install gapps ( this is not always necessary to be followed)
5) formatting data completely will decrypt your device. Just goto format data and type "yes". You need not goto advanced wipe.

Hi guys
I updated my OnePlus 5 from this link
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/how-to/official-stable-oxygen-os-5-0-update-t3724247/amp/
how to downgrade oxygen 5.0 to oxygen 4.5.15
I tried many times with many recoveries
Couldn't downgrade please help
Thank you
Please help
Reverting back to the 7.1.1 will require a full install and clean flash (FULL WIPE of all data and cache). Please be aware that all data will be wiped during the revert-back process, so do remember to backup your data in advance.
Stock Recovery:
Download Rollback Build and place it on internal
Reboot to Stock OOS Revovery
Wipe Cache
Select “Install from Local” and choose the downloaded build to install.
Reboot your device after installing the build. You have to re-enter recovery mode to Wipe data cache and Erase everything(Music, pics, etc).
Reboot your device again and you're all good to go.
Custom Recovery | TWRP
Oreo Compatible TWRP
Download Rollback Build and place it on internal
Reboot to compatible TWRP
Wipe Dalvik , System, Data & Cache
Select ROM Zip and Swipe to Flash
Flash SuperSU Beta/Magisk Beta
Wipe Dalvik & Cache
Reboot to OS
hy, you can find all you want here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74629867&postcount=3

I have a formerly rooted OP 5 currently running oxygenos 4.5.14(this was dirty flashed from a rooted 4.5.3 device) and wanted to upgrade to 5.0.2 without losing my data. I have lost the root and that's fine. I am trying to upgrade to 5.0.1 or 5.0.2 and the update keeps failing. Anyone have tips or guidance on how to proceed?
unless you relock your bootloader you won't be able to update. i tried everything. make sure you backup your data before you relock bootloader beacause this process will wipe everything.
cmd code to lock bootloader - fastboot oem lock
alternatively you can try this but i haven't tried so i won't recommend this method - https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/how-to/guide-upgrade-nougat-rooted-encrypted-t3734779

would you recommend this if I just follow this tutorial up to step 8? I'm on 4.5.14 and would like to update to 5.0.2 even I lose my data and internal storage.
Step
Always succeed to upgrade in my case and not losing any data, maybe my way can help you
1. Instal codeworkx twrp not bluspark twrp, if you already have codeworkx just ignore this step
2. Wipe dalvik and cache
3. Instal update (full zip not partial zip)
4. Wipe dalvik and cache again
5. If you want to root, instal magisk 15.2 (recommended) and if you don't just ignore this step and reboot
6. Wipe dalvik and cache again (last time)
7. Reboot and enjoy your update

To elaborate some of these steps:
1. Boot to fastloader and install codeworx twrp
2. Boot to twrp (codeworx) then wipe dalvik and cache
3. Flash the signed zip (5.0.2)
4. Wipe dalvik cache
5. Install magisk zip
6. Wipe dalvik cache
7. Boot to system
Is this right? What should I do if I have xposed modules and magisk modules currently?

Although this will get me to the most recent update i will continue to run into update issues unless my bootloader is relocked right?
i follow the instructions as per omnirom thread... flash the vendor/firmware, wipe data , reboot recovery, and flash the rom, but the omni rom does not boot at all and just shows the OMNI sign on/off. How should i proceed?
Which ROM were you on? What Firmware were you on? Were you Encrypted? Did you only Wipe /Data or did you wipe everything?

Lineageos 15.1 (android 8.1)
I first flashed OOS stock firmware, then OOS, then LOS.
I format data and then wipe dalvik cache, cache, data, system.

Is your Recovery up to date? I'd recommend the latest Codeworkx TWRP. Did you already have the Vendor partition on your device before attempting to flash Omnirom?
If in doubt flash full OOS 5.1.3 and OTA all the way up to and including 9.0.1. Then reinstall TWRP by fastboot, wipe and format everything and then flash Omni.

I still tried, it does not work. My phone got bricked, so I used MSM tool to unbrick and after that I got Nougat 7.1.1. I upgrade my Android to 8.0 (OOS 5.1.3) from system update, and after that update another one came, Android 8.1.1 ( OOS 5.1.7). I then unlock bootloader, flash twrp, flash vendor/firmware, wipe data, flash Omnirom but I get stuck into the omni loading screen. The phone does not load.

Okay, i'm not seeing anything about a Format operation there. Wipe does not equal Format. I've just finished setting up Omnirom 9 on my own OP5, so it does work. (Great ROM btw)
Backup everything from Internal Storage to your PC, including all the installation files. The following will wipe your storage!
1) Boot into TWRP
2) Wipe Menu, Advanced, Select all Partitions manually and Wipe
3) Wipe Menu, Format. (Type Yes when prompted)
4) Reboot Menu, Reboot Recovery
5) Copy Installation files from PC to Internal Storage
6) Install Menu, Queue up and install zips in the following order:
i) Vendor/Firmware
ii) ROM
iii) Gapps
7) Wipe Dalvik/Cache when prompted
8) Reboot
9) Set up and done.

I did it, but I get a bootloop. Omnirom does not boot, it just shows the OMNI logo lights.

The only difference between the two of us that i can see is that i flashed OOS 9.0.1 and booted into it once before doing the steps above.
Don't know if it's relevant but the Vendor/Firmware that i used was 9.0.1 also:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/11o0FxZ_rw5lhthGz8_iyYEXBt0dwiv3x
Make sure you nuke everything before starting. Wipe and Format everything. Move installation files across and follow steps.

I flashed OOS first and booted everything and I followed the steps and got everything right, but still I get stuck with a bootloop that does not load OmniROM.
Works fine for me;
Flashed the latest OxygenOS. Now you dont need to worry about flashing firmware later in the process.
Enabled unlocking the bootloader in developer menu.
Rebooted into bootloader and flashed the recovery image from clockworkx and booted into twrp recovery.
Wiped everything and formatted data as well.
Reboot recovery.
Flashed rom. I always use sideload but that should not matter. Dont flash anything else; first reboot into your working system.
This is my first Oneplus device and I just realized that in this device, in order to flash Custom Roms, you need to have a OOS installed beforehand plus not wiping /System partition.
So I was wondering which one is the best and quickest way to do a clean and fresh install from scratch, with the less amount of stuff from previous roms since wiping /System will end up on a bootloop.
Would it be something like this:
Starting from fresh and clean OOS latest version:
-Wipe /Data /Cache /Internal
-Flash Rom + kernel (optional) + TWRP
-Reboot recovery
-Flash Gapps + Magisk.
-Reboot System.
Is this the cleanest way to do it ?
I've seen @Koogly 's video but I dont know if theres a better way to do it.
Thank you all.

First time from oos zip
Flash latest stock rom oos
Flash twrp zip
Wipe data and cache
Reboot to recovery
Flash latest stock rom oos zip
Flash twrp zip
Wipe data and cache
Flash custom rom zip
Flash twrp zip
Flash gapps zip
Flash magisk zip if you want root
Reboot to system
If you are already on custom
Flash lastest stock oos zip
Wipe data and cache
Flash custom rom zip
Flash twrp zip
Flash gapps zip
Flash magisk zip if you want root
Reboot to system
If going from custom to oos
Back up all your internal storage pictures videos music etc
Wipe data internal storage and cache
Flash latest stock oos zip
Flash twrp zip if you still want to customize
Reboot to recovery
Flash latest stock oos zip
Flash twrp zip if you still want to customize
Flash magisk zip if you want root
Reboot to system
If you want a custom kernel on any of these methods I would recommend booting the rim first and going through setup process the rebooting back to to twrp after and flashing the kernel
Also you will want a USB c otg port bc after the first flash your data will be encoded. You can select the otg storage via twrp to make the process easier.
If you don't have an otg cable you will need to sideload each zip via cmd prompt with fastboot tools and sideload in twrp
After all flashes are complete and you boot the rom the encrypted data will no longer be encrypted on custom rom flashing if going back to stock oos rom you lose all internal data
Most ROMs threads have instructions in main thread and those should be followed first. Some ROMs may require some bits and pieces from original oxygen rom prior to custom install
Asoip for example
Is flashing oos necessary if we unlock bootloader?
I see instructions for lineage os dont mention flashing of oos bit they have the first step as unlocking the bootloader

You flash oos first so you have the correct vender and up to date files etc before flashing. Some ROMs require you to flash old oos versions bc their rom was based on that oos vender
