LG Backup Issue - LG V20 Questions & Answers

Just recently noticed LG Backup had an update the other day that I think broke the app itself. After the 'loading data for backup' screen I get a blank black screen... pictures attached... anyone else getting this?

Today Screen & Messaging Issue

Hey all,
I've got a dopod 838Pro, and am having an issue booting the device, with the storage card inserted, it boots, but doesn't show anything on the Today Screen, other than the Day & Date. Also, if I click Messaging, it doesn't start anything...
Has anybody else encountered this or something similar?

[Q] Screen flicker-replacement possible from Google?

So I'm sort of freaking out here. My phone was fine one second, then flickering the next. I thought it was a software issue, so i went into TWRP and tried to wipe data, but it happened there too. I'll try to post a video if I can, but the whole screen just dims, then gets brighter really quickly so it looks like flickering. Any help would be appreciated!
Has anyone called google and gotten a replacement for a tmobile nexus (not bought from the play store). And yes I have fastbooted back to stock unrooted. It still does it.

[Q] Screen Problem SGH-1337

So, just recently I had a problem with the phone when I tried turning on the screen but instead got small coloured pixels and the screen started glowing green. When I rebooted it rebooted normally but the screen stayed the same. It seemed like everything else but the screen display was working. Don't know if that makes sense to you guys. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Only problem I encountered with S4 wqs straight out of the box after connecting to a genie to transfer data for a customer the screen on the S4 just went haywire and snowy like an old tube tv. Other than that haven't seen anymore screen issues.

That's exactly how the screen looked. Do you have any idea how it could occur?

Tapped from the Shear Galaxy Near You!
Similar screen death problem
I have had an AT&T Galaxy S4 SGH-I337 for 2 weeks and love it. I was having a battery drain issue but powering off and back on seemed to fix it (also I am no longer ending the Google Play Music process from the Task Manager which may have caused the common "Media Server" battery drain I was having).
But today, I had a similar problem as the OP =(
Unlocked my phone (using the pattern to unlock) and it lagged as it tried to display the home screen. When the home screen showed up, the colors immediately went whacky, all white-washed and faded, then a half second later and the screen went black. Screen completely dead.
I can still hear sounds from the phones and see the status light so I know the rest of the phone is still working. It responds to me unlocking the phone and pressing the home, back, and settings button.
I will be taking my phone back to AT&T this evening but just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or solutions. I will post an update after visiting AT&T.

[Q] Random Restarts?

Over the past few days I have noticed that my D800 will randomly restart. It does it in this way every time...I will go to unlock the phone by double tapping and the front LED will turn white as it is supposed to, then it will just hang there with a black screen until the ATT logo shows again and it boots back into my lock screen. Why is this happening? Has it happened to anyone else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Opps i just started a topic on this. I have sprint g2 and i was suffering the same issues. I dont know what i did to fix it. But it seems fine now.

hello, I experienced the same trouble last week. I remove Gmail (as it was proposed in an other thread) and reinstall it. Since then, no more reboot . It seems that one update of Gmail is creating some trouble.
cross the fingers it does not appear again ;0)

Thank you for the suggestion! I had just uninstalled via Titanium Backup and re-installed from the play store. I'll let you know if it happens again. thanks!

Has anyone noticed images being *soft* burnt into the screen?

Running the latest official 5.1.1 build and it seems to only happen since then.
Sometimes I'll open an app, and when I close it it leaves an image (ghost like, not fully opaque) of the previous app on the screen, as if it's been burned into the screen like you get with Plasma screens if you leave the same image on for a long time. If I turn the screen off and turn it back on, the image of the previous app even shows on the lock screen.
When I reboot it's fine though.
I haven't tried to take a screenshot yet to see if the image appears on there. Anyone else noticed this?
Yea I noticed this since I bought the phone
