Note 3 lollipop update

Hi when I opened my phone ( SM-N9005 ) update sitting I saw a menu in it all countries
My question if I choose a country have the new android 5.0 lollipop I will get the update OTA

[REQ] [ROM] [DEV] Custom ROMs based on AOSP needed for Galaxy A5(SM-A500G). Help!

Can any developer help the Indian A5 variant users get a AOSP custom rom. As @mygalaxya discontinued his work for that variant. I am not a developer but would love to work on porting the rom if someone guides me on the procedure.

Don't worry, I can adapt BlissPop to any variant since now I have completz device tree for it. Send me a PM if you're really interested.
I'm also working on another build, it's a simple clean and fresh build, since all bugs are fixed we may adapt it to all variants.

Can u please give us a link of the AOSP ROM thread for SM-A500G,

SM-A500H Dual SIM variant.
And what about the dual sim variant Mr. @mygalaxya because these devices are not easy to configure to make the two sims working properly, I don't know what's the problem or where it lies, but for example check this: Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 cyanogenmod by mukulsoni with cyanogenmod 12.1 from 22nd November 2014 until today.
yet, dual sim functionalities -calling and internet- are not working as they should be.
I don't want to be a disappointment or frustration but, we should give our SM-A500H dual Sim a chance so, I wish good luck for all of you.
I'm eager to help with my phone.

That's right. We really need Dev's help in this area. There are many custom roms for a500f/a500fu but none for any other variant.

Hi I just received an OTA update for my a500g(India) of around 830 MB. I think this should be the lollipop update.

Can you please check if its Lollipop? because Its not yet updated in youmobile.org and i have a rooted device

Yup it is the lollipop update of 830 MB.
And just install wanam Xposed and make your device status official and it will let you download the OTA. I also have rooted a5.
Edit: After downloading OTA you can find the downloaded update in root/data/fota.

I didnt get it, I checked for update. My baseband version is A500GXXU1AOB2 build number is KTU84P.A500GXXU1AOE2

It seems like there is actually no lollipop release for a500g(India). But than why I got that update? Can it be an experimental build?
I have filed a complaint to Samsung about this a week ago. Do you think that is the reason why I got that update? Also the Russian lollipop update for a500fu was of 920 MB while mine was of only 830 MB.
Anyway I think I will wait for Indian lollipop release. Damn my 830 MB is wasted.
Edit: Just checked on gsmarena. A user there has reported that he has also got lollipop update on his a500g India if 830 MB. So I have got the right update.

Phones with CSC INS got the update . That may be the reason they didnt release official roms. I flashed INS kitkat ROM and got the update

Dnt worry buddy...its an official update.i also got da update.. whole new ui...battery back up is very gud...still no bug yet...no lag...no heating issues...only problem is i wnt to root it..thts alll:laugh:

It could be that the update on Android 7.0 is no longer available since Samsung has stopped the roll-out because of too many bugs.

Look under software info what is there. If there is G930F / G935F this method works. Should there be something different then this does not work

I guess that this does wipe data ?

The official Canadian version is the Exynos device! unless you bought the unlocked version!

If you download this firmware, you have to flash this by Odin. If you flashst them all your data will be lost. So before everything save and then flash.

How do i tell? it was sent to me when i returned my note 7. I got an unlock code with it, so i am not sure.

The 7 update isnt showing up for me after the update...

I went back to stock firmware because I had rooted my phone with a rom so I went back to stock with a 6.0.1 mm firmware. A lot of people from the uk are getting this update although I haven't yet haha?
The official one that is.

If your device is rooted and you do the original firmware flashing, your device will be officiel again

Yeah it "Was" rooted then I flashed the original firmware back on it although forgot to go into Super Su to unroot but the flash did it for me but then tripped knox lol.
Yeah I thought I was on official again but my mate has got the official update from nougat and I haven't lol (We live close)

According to a few websites, the official update was stopped because of bugs again. Wait a bit and update the OTA again. Actually, this should work. If it does not go with you Samsung has stopped the update again.

The update is about 1.2 GB, and, especially in China, ran into some bugs initially, and was reportedly pulled before being re-released today. As to when will it hit the non-Exynos versions sold on US carriers, remains to be seen, but the wait shouldn't be long now that the beta testing phase is done and dusted. So ???

2. Will i be able to install this on 935fd without any probs?

Question about nougat ota

Hello folks!
I decided to open a new topic about this because no one answered me in the few topics I have asked so...
I have inatalled the beta Nougat version following some steps from a video that I found on youtube using firmware finder app.
Now my question is... will I get the ota update since its released?
I found this version that I have to be full with bugs and it is so laggy so I just want to know wether I will receive the ota update or to risk downgrading it to MM and then wait for the ota.
I dont want to brick my phone while downgrading it to MM (if thats possible), I'd just wait for the official full ota version to be released to see if that'd solve the bugs, lags, bad multitasking and etc.
I am owning the 2gb veraion and I am currently on B335 with C432 localisation.

Super lag after unroot and bugs

Hi everyone,
I brought this phone from a phone store (not official), and it's second hand. The problems are common, LAG.
And sometimes, when i start phone data, my SIM signal suddenly stopped…
And I found that this phone had been rooted before and unroot for being selling.
I knew knox had broken.
It's common ROM same as others but it was LAAAAG.
[SM-G935FD], my phone model.
[Android 6.0], my android .
I've tried to reformat and recovery mode wiped before. And it's useless.
Any suggestions everyone?

Update your phone dude it's on old android 6.0 .upgrade it to oreo 8.0 via Odin and that should fix your issue ,even tho it shouldn't lag like that on any android version.

It's not my Oreo ,it's Samsung official firmware 8.0 Oreo . First learn how to flash something with Odin then download official firmware from sammobile or updato site. Put your phone model inside and start downloading
