[ SOLVED ]
So, i used an app that has 2 functions :
1. Connects to Wifi using WPS glitch, and i ended up connected to the wifi i wanted
2. Read wifi passwords from data/misc/wifi/ ( uses root )
, but after using both functions, my phone gets reboot if i try to connect to a wifi ( mostly after last boot for 3,4 hours, if connect sooner than that the phone won't reboot ). And also i keep getting error message "Unfortunately, BeaconManager has stopped working" if i watch videos with Android's video player ( AwesomePlayer ). I also noticed that under the wifi icon in notification bar, it doesn't show which wifi i'm connecting to anymore, the pop-up when i connect to a wifi also says different ( Instead of "Connected to xxx Wi-fi network" with xxx = wifi name, it says "Connected to Wi-fi network" ).
Is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling the firmware? Thanks in advance
Device : SM-A800I, Version : Lollipop 5.1.1
[ Solution : i reused the app or entered the wrong wifi password on random wifi, and now it works again, wow ]

Hi I recently installed Aurora ICS 2.04 following the procedure as in the Aurora firts post.
My wifi worked perfectly in the official 2.3.5 but now I have an issue.
I can connect to any network but in 98% of them it connects, gets internet in the firts 5 seconds and than it stays connected with a valid IP but no internet connection, it always times out. I can only connect to a Fon network asking me for login every 15 minutes but all others including my home networks are a no go.
As for GPS it never works, the icon appears in Maps with no blinking, empty icon, and it gives me the last location I had before the update and it never changed.
Already made again a 3 wipe and reinstalled but it remains.
I have valid IMEI and Mac and I do not know what to do
Since I bought my new Nexus 4, I haven't managed to run Google Play over WIFI.
It's very important to mention that my WIFI connection is completely fine, and I can surf the Internet without any problems.
Whenever I open Google Play as WIFI is turned on and connected, after a few seconds I receive the following error message: "Connection Timed Out" near a button which allows me to try again. This message is not shown if I turn off WIFI connection and connect my cellular internet network. If I don't use WIFI, I can run Google Play without any errors and download any application I want to download.
This is very very weird because my brother owns exactly the same device (Nexus 4) and he doesn't get any error messages when he's connected to the same WIFI connection. We both have kept the original Android stock rom, we both haven't rooted our phones and that's why I can't explain why only I get this message.
I have already googled about it and tried every suggestion I could find (For example: http://wccftech.com/fix-no-connection-retry-error-message-on-google-play-store-app). Nothing helped. I even tried to do a factory reset but it didn't change anything.
Does anyone know what causes this annoying problem? I don't know what to do anymore
* I don't want to root my phone and I don't want to replace the original ROM which came with my phone the day I bought it.

Only one CPU core is running + having network connection issues
wifi is working fine. But SIM connection having problem
rebooted phone several times,
pattern i found is if it's downloading any files or youtube videos offline, data connection starts in about 2-3 minute after starting download. While downloading, internet works fine. but as soon as it completes, data connection stops working again, webpage not loading, ping failing.
I'm attaching some screenshots relating issues.
Anyone else having this issues?
Yeah I'm having better issue
Hey,
I recently got a used Lenovo A7600-F tablet from my office because they weren't using it anyways.
Everything seems to work perfectly fine - except the wifi connection.
Code:
Model: Lenovo A7600-F
Android: 4.4.2 (no further update available for that model)
Kernel: 3.4.67
Build: A7600F_A442_000_029_150401_ROW
Here is the thing:
I disable/enable wifi
I click my home network and enter the password
Nothing happens for ~2 seconds
"Failed to connect to network" (no "connecting" or similar)
To make sure my WPA2 security isn't the problem, I made an unprotected hotspot on my phone. Absolutely identical problem.
One thing I noticed: The tablet is able to find all the networks around me and updates their signal strength in the list without any problems. As soon as I try to connect to one, it takes around 2 seconds until it says "Failed to connect to network". If I then try again, the message pops up instantly with no delay for all networks. From that moment on, the list also stops updating and can't be refreshed until I turn my wifi off and on again.
I downloaded "Wifi Analyzer" and I can see all the networks' strength values moving. I can close the app, do something else or go to standby and come back to see the values still updating. But as soon as I try to connect to a network, it will give that error again, stop updating the list in the wifi section and Wifi Analyzer will not be able to find any more signals. If I close that app and bring it back up now, the list of networks will remain empty. Same with the networklist on the wifi settings. Turning wifi off and on again resets the whole thing.
In short: My tablet sees all networks around me and updates them, but gives an error ("Failed to connect to network") as soon as I try to connect. Then no more wifi updates until i disable/enable it again.
Factory reset did not help, I let the battery drain and charged it back up - no success! I also tried an app called "Wifi Ruler", which was mentioned to fix a similar problem in a post I found on another forum. Connecting through that has exactly the same effect.
Does anybody have an idea about what is going wrong and what else I could try to fix this?
I use MyPhoneExplorer to sync with a Windows 10 PC All seemed to work perfectly with the Android app over wifi.
The strange thing is today when I clicked sync on the PC it caused the Android app on the phone to start, as expected ... but then gave me a pop up msg that it could not connect. I checked and wifi was switched OFF, so was turn wifi on automatically, open network notification & wifi scanning, all turned off. So the phone should not be waking up when MFE on PC attempts to connect but something is obviously on & a signal is getting through from PC to activate the Android app, even though the data transfer channel is blocked.
How come? Is this a bug (Android or Essential)?
