same method as old models :
Check phone version / exact sub-model, here are three hardware versions of Y300:
1.Huawei Y300 (T8833) - TD-SCDMA / China Mobile
2.Huawei Y300-0000 (U8833) - WCDMA China Unicom
3.Huawei Y300-0100 (U8833) - WCDMA International
check version (product ID) with this code : *#*#1357946#*#* , dial button (green)
there is international version ROM - Y300-0100 at Huawei site, you probably downloaded it ...
- put "dload" folder from archive on formatted micro-sd card's ROOT
- put micro-sd card into phone
- start phone in download mode = Press the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN key, and then press the
POWER key to power on the phone and enter the Software Upgrade Mode
(taken from upgrade manual - which is found in archive, pdf ... )
- wait for finish ...
p.s. if not accepting firmware - means it's not international version ....

Hi,
I have HUAWEII Y300-0000 phone I've bought in china.
Managed to unlock it thanks to your manual.
It comes with ROM: Y300-0000V100R00C17B180 (Android 4.1.1).
The only problem I have is that sometimes when I try to dial I do not manage to establish call (the call is tried to be established and then disconnects). When this happens there is also problem in incoming calls. I manage to receive the incoming call but when answered the connection drops after several seconds.
My question is whether this is an issue you are familiar with.
If so, do you have any suggestions?
Are there any new ROMs for this version that maybe handle these kind of issues.
How can I install new ROM on already rooted phone?

hi there, i believe you can only flash the official firmware upgrades from a official ROM because when you check for upgrades to the firmware it gives you a option to install from local storage which i have yet to see in a custom ROM. in future i would always recommend a backup before installing any other ROM

how to get or hack bootloader code if my phone is bricked.
or

i install chainfire 3d and when i instaling driver my phone is shut down and i can wake up him from that it only show huawei ascend logo i can go to stock recowery and i can force upgrade but fail at ste 2 can you fix it

Search playstore I forget the excat name of the app. I used swapit(the name has changed now I forget the name) this uses your sd card as ram but do take note that the more u use your sd card the quicker it can go bad.

Good afternoon .I am an owner of Dual Sim Huawei P8 GRA-UL10 Premium with 64GB Ram with 6.0 Marshmallow firmware C00B352 and EMUI 4.0 ,but this is a China rom without Googleplay services and many Chinese apps .
I already unlocked the Bootloader ,i put TWRP Recovery and i root it wirh Superuser .Is there a way to insert an Internatiol European Rom for this mobile?

This is the official Marshmallow rom for the middle eastern region(C433), you will find the same download package for many countries like(Tunisia, Jordan, Algeria...). Not sure if the Russian rollback package from Marshmallow to Lollipop works for your region though in case you want to go back to Lollipop. Anyway Marshmallow is way better than Lollipop in my opinion.

I suggest you stay on the chinese rom you get updates faster that way than any other region, more stable but the down side is the missing google services as you mentioned. There isn't a tested method for our device model of doing this but there is an old method that worked for another Huawei device if you are brave enough to attempt it. http://www.carbontesla.com/2015/09/how-to-change-region-of-your-huawei-honor-4c-root/
Some ideas that might make this work in theory( This can break your phone, so do this at your own risk and don't forget to backup the original files and restore the default permissions when making changes):
1- Follow the link until procedure: step 2.
2-You can try step 3 or another way i guess you can try: Revert back to an old chinese Lollipop rom on you phone, then download an asian Lollipop rom(ex: Malaysia) extract from the rom the "OEM Info File" needed. Then on your phone go to "/dev/block/hi_mci.0/by-name/" notice the location of these files might be different in you rom but they are there you have to search for them though. After finding the location of the folder copy and replace the files form the Malaysian rom to your phone. After that try to install again the same Malaysian rom and see if it works but this may break your phone. If this works you can then proceed to download a Malaysian Marshmallow rom and install it.

I have the exact same phone, bought in Portugal too. You have to use the GRA-UL10C432Bxxx builds. This is the latest build available (Marshmallow)

I know the title says 'preview' but it is not. It is the stable version from Huawei, and the one i am currently using.

Download the file, then extract, put dload folder in SD memory and insert to phone, go to UPDATER and choose local update, and select the file and let the phone do update in 20 minutes....

Can you kindly assist me with the full procedure of how you did it. I am currently facing the same problem.
Forgive me for bad English. I bought a p8 lite ALE-L21 in Egypt. once unpacked and switched on the device, it received two updates one after another. I don't remember the first build. but the current build is ALE-L21 C185B160.
I unlocked bootloader and rooted with king root then flashed TWRP. while removing some bloatware I removed some important apps by mistake.
Now I want to go back to the official untouched build firmware to have these features back.
I searched for this build B160 everywhere but all I found is B170. NO B160 anywhere.
I tried to flash the B170 but FAILED
PLEASE HELP ME FIND ALE-L21C185B160 Build.
any help will be appreciated.

you need to flash C185B120 rom, then you will receive un apdate to B130 version then an another to the B160
all you have to do is to search for the rom and flash it via fast boot mod

I have the same problem and Im Kinda stuck there ..
I read somewhere that I can flash the European version "ALE-the L21 V100R001C432 B052" which I'm not sure whether it will work ..
Now I need a stock Rom to fix all the mess I made.
Plz let me know if you could fix it!

I didn't work for you, then you didn't know how to do it
I did it my self on my device and it worked like a charm
Any way, I created an auto flashable version for this rom, juste download it, plug in the phone with usb cable into your pc ( of course make sure usb debugging is on and drivers are installed and your bootloader is unlocked ) then juste click the FLASH-ALL file and the phone will reboot automatically into fast-boot mod and flash the rom.
Of course you will loose your data, also your IMEI? but no worries, juste update to B130 version via OTA ( go to update and search for an update and you wll find it ) and you will get your IMEI back. then you will receive the B160 update via OTA too.

So what if my bootloader is locked?
I have rooted my phone without unlocking the bootloader .. it's not a full root but I can't get rid of it .. the only way is to force flash the official firmware which I couldn't find anywhere .. If maybe I have the OTA update B160 alone I guess it might solve my problem but there isn't such thing on the internet.
Well anyway I finished downloading the full B132 now and I'll give it a try tomorrow morning and see If it will work .. If not .. I'll try the one you made if it works with bootloader locked. (I don't know yet)...
One last question plz: if I want to upgrade to marshmallow 6.0 .. from where should I begin?
I know it's only for the European version which starts with B052 => B170 => B188 => B524 etc...
So is there any working method to get to the B524 directly from our version without having to do it all from scratch like that?
And can we actually flash the European version instead?

no unlocked bootloader ==> no rom flashing on the phone
there is another way but due to your net speed it could take days maybe even a week... so whatever lol

plug the phone into pc with usb cable, turn it off, then push vol+ , vol - and power button together, the phone will donwload a new firmware

But I just found something weird that I don't understand ..
I booted the phone in fastboot mode and found "phone is unlocked" while I haven't actually unlocked the bootloader.
I only followed the tutorial on this thread ..

My question is ..
Is it really a full unlocking?
With having this, could I make a full root by flashing supersu files through fastboot or flash a custom recovery?
Is there any way to relock the phone as I haven't unlocked it officially?

Bootloader results unlocked (as you can see) but's acts as locked.
System partition will be mount only read mode, so you cannot update supersu anymore.
Hi Guys, I m from Pakistan, i m using Huawei P9 lite VNS-L31 C900 B055, but it have been facing some problems with my phone and now i want to put new firmware on it. i have searched for latest firmware but it is not available for C900 B055 instead i have found C432B161. Now i have some questions to be answered.
1. Can i put C432B161 in my phone however my phone build number is VNS_L31 C900 B055?
2. Is there any to upadate my phone?
3. What problems i can face, if put C432B161 in my phone?

3: I think Dload blocks a 5% fail and it will restart c900b055 or dload 100% success c900b161 or c432b161.
Network problem, I do not think so.

Yes. Its a dual sim phone. But its not based on Pakistan. Its been gifted to me. No update has been found yet

It should download 5.1.1 if you are writing the PDA and the other info of 5.1.1 firmware. Did you choose "manual" in SamFirm ?

I did type PDA in manual but showes me marshmallow again.
