Touch Screen Keys "Menu & Back Buttons"

Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you have had, or are having any problems with the soft touch keys (Menu and Back buttons) on their SGS? Mine don't work. I think I may have, by accident, updated the firmware and now they don't work. Is there a way to get it back working again? I installed Darkys V8 rom and I saw the SGS Tools app and within secret codes I saw Touchscreen Firmwareversion. I clicked on Touch Key FW update. I thought I would get a warning before it actually began to update. My version says Phone's Touch Key FW version :0xa9 and the other is part's Touch key FW version: 0xa9. Can someone with SGS Tools app run it and check to see if there's matches mine. So run the app and then go to Secret Codes and then scroll down to Touchscreen Firmwareversion and check what version you are using.

I would try flashing a stock firmware through odin to see if it would reversible. Sorry couldn't be of more help.

Looks like maybe the firmware didn't get update because your numbers are the same as mine. I've tried that, but it didn't seem to work. I'll try again. Just wondering weather that firmware is in the rom or within the hardware.

I have had two Galaxy s bought to me with this problem and both times it was hardware.
If you are around Blackpool i would be able to fix it.

So it sounds like I'll have to get a replacement. BTW how can you fix it?

Replace the LCD. As its 80% of the phone in one part.
Phone only has like 4 parts its crazy

It might work but the two I had did need hardware.
It is an in warranty fix if you have a service centre by you.

than ks for the info iammodo. my question once more is : i live in cyprus, the mobile was bought from greece as a friend got it for me as a gift. will cyprus samsungs service centre fix my problem or should i ask for a new device. i am not in any contract.
and should i flash it back to any rom eu???

I can accept any European phone to fix in the uk. But don't know about other country's. Flash to the phones stock to preserve warranty some are fussy I never am

I have GT08 clone watch and your firmware i can flash to my watch but dont work touchscreen.
It will start, show the home screen and lockcreen button is working too but the touch screen do nothing. :crying::crying::crying:
Golem_s DZ-09 Firmwares arent not good for GT08, because the screen on this watches is mirrored, camera is upside-down ,...

The problem is its a clone. It isn't official that means that the watch has some random clone firmware which no body really knows whats on it.
The screen dose'nt work because the touchscreen is incompatible with the firmware. The only thing you guys could do is keep searching for GT08 32MB firmwares and keep flashing until you find the one for your watch

I find ROM on 4DA russian forum of my GT08 clone (MTK61D_btdialer_11c) and i flash (FlashTool_v5.1420.00 Azeem) it and everything works.
Then I have a problem with Invalid IMEI.
I was use SN write tool and bplgu file from Golem_s firmwares of GT08 (MT6260) and i writen to the watch a correct IMEI number.
Now is my smartwatch like a new and everything is OK.
Big thanks to Golem_ and AerogamingHD.

What is the difference between the original firmware come in your watch and the new one which you flash.
Did you get any new options in your watch?
Did you add any new watch faces ?
Share us your experience with your watch

It is just original firmware, but it is work good. It is the same like it was in watches when i bought it.
No new options, no new faces...

Hi, I am facing a similar problem with my gt08. its a mtk6261DA, 32mb winbond rom. i have tried all the roms posted here and on the google drive. i still couldnt find one that works for me.
I have these problems when i flash with 32mb firmware:
1. the display has inverted colors like a photo negative.
or 2. the touch doesnt work
0r 3. the touch is inverted
or 4. the screen is inverted but touch doesnt work.
or 5. the screen is inverted in colors and shifted a bit up from bottom which looks like a broken display with vertical lines.
or 6. in some cases it may be the combination of two or three of the things listed above
i just got these watches a dz09 and a gt08 both have the same board and specs.. i even verified it by opening them. but unfortunately and stupidly i didnt take a back up of the firmware and because of my bad luck i couldnt find any firmware working with that. can you help me? i saw ur firmwares on the drives.. i hope you or someone can help me thanks.

I no long have this watch.so I no longer now

even if you had a backup you cannot reflash it because on these fake watches there is no space allocated for installing anythink even 1mb of data.

Trying to fix my radio that stopped working the touch buttons after a hard reset, I tried to install another ROM.
I know, I know, but my radio had a strange firmware and I don't know if there is a compatible firmware for it. MCU: CVD1810-WJ_19.12.30.16, Build: ZXDZ_2019.12.30.16.
I opened the radio so that I can take photos of the motherboard and labels. I'm lost here.
The radio connects to SP Flash and enters download mode, but the ROM that I got its not compatible. The screens stay black.
Please let me know what you guys think and if you can throw me a hand with a compatible firmware better...

marchnz, Honestly, the search that I have being doing is looking for something like the MCU and Build #'s that I had.
I have read many threads and its my believe after reading the posts, that there are many different MCU's and that I should install something like the one that I had.
Mine started CVD, and I don't know if I can use another MCU like YT9217 , YT9218 or something like that.
I dont know which software is compatible with my hardware so that I can fix it.

Some of the firmware that are posted here are the two (2) .bin and .upd files that I cant flash with SP Flash.
And the ones that I download with have scatter txt with all other files, they give me errors on SP Flash, I assume that is because I'm trying to flash something that is not compatible with my headunit.

Need help with brick was trying with the 2 big test points but can get it to try to flash anymore

HELP! Flased a YT9213AJ firmware on a YT9216B, Now I have black screen

Hello, I'm neewbie on this unit.
I have a YT9216B unit and I made a mistake flashing a YT9213AJ full fimware. Now my unit is on black screen and it does not conect with my PC. There is any way to flash it again with the correct firmware?
I have read a lot but I don't find the solution

You have bricked your unit. If you haven't done proper backup you will need to restore it from scratch. There is loads of info here on how to do it - https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...-firmware-chinese-7-head-unit-ac8227-t3931863
And once it's restored, flash it with this file which is by far the best mod I've seen here for your model.

You should probably use the proper YT9213AJ dump to recover your unit, even if other mods might work, you will encounter issues. I created the perfect mod for your unit (ROOT, TWRP, ViperFx, Android 9.1 Aug2020) and you can checkout the post here. I suggest you use it instead.

Strange things on a XTRONS unit

Hello everyone,
Firstly, sorry for my bad english i'm french ....
I'm searching explanations and any help about strange things on my first android head unit (replacing my Audi RNSE in my S3 2007)
I bought an XTRONS IB80A3ALN last week
Works like intended but need more personalisation so i decide to flash with HAL9K ROM.
Flash works properly but when unit reboot got a black screen with some white bars moving on the screen and unit stay like this, can't see anything.
I try many things like recovery, same black screen and i don't do a dump before flashing, my fault i discover .....
But before flashing i take some screenshot to show to my brother.
First thing, serial number on the sticker and in the About are not the same, is it normal ?
Second thing, in the About model it's PX5(1280x720) but according to XTRONS website it's 1024x600, is it normal ?
Third thing (and i make lot's of research here) the MCU in the About show MTCH_LM_V3.75_1, but according to my research LM is for Erisin/Pumpkin not for XTRONS which should be GS, right or not ?
So i'm confused with this unit, i ask my reseller and XTRONS support, no one respond since 5 days, would get at least original stock firmware and mcu to try to flash.
I search a proper firmware and MCU but nothing (could latest MTCE be flashed on a MTCH ???)
I am able to enter MASKROM and dependind to which uboot and recovery.img i flashed i'm able to get fastboot working through usb, but always with black screen
Any explanations/help/files will be very appreciated

You should be able to install Malaysk ROM which will solve all of your problems.

It's really simple. Find the appropriate Malaysk ROM thread here on XDA and follow the instructions

If you are still within 12 months warranty, just return it.

Yes sure it would be better but because when in reverse gear the screen works i'm searching solution waiting for xtrons to allow me to return the unit ........
