Any hints on how they/you fixed this? Been having an issue where the amazon appstore wont show any of my apps so i cant install them.

When I called amazon customer service, they said it was a developer issue. Google support said developers where given since March to be compliant. So, I sent an email to amazon apps support and Jeff Bezos. Maybe Jeff actually reads customer complaints

Can anyone please help me out. Got the Android 2.3.7 update OTA. Initialized Google Wallet. Tried to input Citi Card info. Wallet was initializing Card. Received call. After the call Wallet force closed. Tried to open Wallet again, Force Close every single time.
Rebooted the phone, cleared cache, cleared info, wiped phone. Nothing works. Google Wallet won't initialize. Force close every single time.
Would anyone have any solutions to this?
I've still not seen the OTA. Hate that they announce that something's available to us when it's not going to be released for days yet.
Same thing happened to me, you should call google wallet.

Just got this email from google.
Hi Jason,
Thanks for your patience.
Please be aware that unauthorized operating systems or rooted devices may have limited or compromised functionality. Such device configurations are not supported by Google Wallet and may expose security risks. We strongly discourage use of the Google Wallet app on such devices.
Appreciate your understanding. Feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions.

Although Currys can be a pain in the backside customer service wise, as you bought from them this is where you have the most consumer rights.
ok thanks, I've contacted them and they gave me a number to call which is asus

Calling Asus is the last thing you do. Read this one page http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/sale-of-goods/understanding-the-sale-of-goods-act/your-rights/, print the page and go to the store. Tell them what is wrong and put the print out on the counter so that you can check their responses. Don't forget that in the first 6 months of ownership the retailer has to prove that you have caused the fault or its fair wear and tear.

Great question. I'm curious of the same thing. I've used Google voice for voicemail previously while running AOSP Roms, but I find it unreliable. The messages never played through all the way. I was actually hoping that the sprint voicemail app would work or be able to be ported.
I use Google voice. It fully integrates with Sprint during set up and other than the initial bug mentioned before, it has worked perfectly for me.

I've been pleasantly surprised with this phone on Sprint. I was ready to switch carriers because my HTC One could rarely get a signal and forget about LTE. However, this phone has superb signal and has been great on the network.

We really need that visual voicemail app. We are paying for service. They need to make it available to everyone either thru Google play store or thru their website. Every time you go to Sprint's forums on their website and ask about VV they recommend using 3rd party app. Very disappointed at Sprint and their lack of effort and care to provide the app for nexus devices. Every other carrier like T-Mobile, at&t and Verizon have their VV app in the Google play store. I tried using the VV , it provisions successfully but voicemail messages do not show up.
Personally, I like the Sprint Zone app but I can't find an updated apk that works correctly. I tweeted @ sprint care about it and, lol, they said it should have been pre-installed. I replied "No. It's a nexus, NOTHING is pre-installed." They didn't tweet back after that.

And here I was thinking how awesome it is that this device came from Sprint with NO carrier branding or bloat (which includes Sprint Zone).
But Sprint Zone does have some useful things with in it...I just never used it personally so I'm grateful it didn't come preinstalled and, more importantly, can't be uninstalled.

People that already have the device will still receive play store updates for now.

Existing devices will have access to play store and app updates.

Edit: first part was pretty stupid of me so editing. With this device being a google device, they wouldn't be less they have the hardware do it which is doubtful.
But for people using China phones that let them control the software, I promise they are.
So we can use nexus 6p with gapps indefinitely?

Nothing in life is indefinite. What world you living in? Trump can turn around tomorrow and tell google they can't do it.
I want to write this in case there's other people out there who had the same problem as me. I pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S10 plus and I loved it. Then about a month and a half after having it I wasn't really able to make and receive phone calls and texts. Eventually after going into a sprint store with a tech center I found out after they connected my phone to a computer and ran a Samsung program they told me it's a hardware issue. But because I don't have insurance they refused to help. I called up sprint and customer service was no help but after they finally transferred me to tech support I was able to finally get REAL help. Tech support are the only people apparently that know about the problem and there's a lot of people who have the same problem. They will do what they call a tech exchange for free to replace your phone with a working phone. I hope this helps someone because I don't want anyone to go through the frustrating situation I did. I now have a brand new Samsung Galaxy S10 plus that works.

What's the build date on your current device ?
Was it purchased from sprint directly or Samsung? Was it a sprint branded device? Cheers.
