START menu open no reason

From time to time when I do some action on the touch screen the START menu open no reason.
It is happen with no special pattern or certain point touching the screen.
And also happen with 2 different devices with the original and with the new ROM version
Is it a familiar problem ?

Hmz....peculiar problem... I ain't got it like this, but i got some other quirk that seems very close to this: every now and then when i want to single-tap an item to start it (in explorer for instance), the rotating dots show and a context menu opens (like tap-and-hold)... It even happens when i use hardwarekey (ie press enter) to activate item; it still reacts like tap-and-hold
Only every now and then though...
I guess the official ROM update takes so long because of the extensive bug-list they'll have to fix

This second problem seems more like a hardware problem with the way the screen reacts to stylus taps.

Same problem here.
As a question... do you have CE-Star installed? I do... do you guys?

I just press the little keyboard on the screen to bring the on screen keyboard up then i close the on screen keyboard

I have ce star installed and dont get this at all...

Touch Dual with screen alignment problem

I have problem with my Touch Dual. When I start the phone I get the alignment screen I press the cross and it moves to next corner. But when all is done it starts again I cant came thru this screen.
If I press Windows buttom I get the start menu but when I select one of them the phone goes back to welcome menu.
I have tried with hard rest with no success. I have search in this forum but I cant find any similar faults. Any hints please.

My phone is as follows:
R1.65.28.25
G25.98.40.07h
D2.09
If I press windows buttom I get the list with all program but when I select one
I allweays get back to welcome screen.

i have the same problem, i already bought and changed flex and touch panel, but i didn't succeded in solving the problem.
i read on the forum there's a way to bypass screen aligning and to install a preformatted aligning setting , is there a way to do this on the touch dual too?

I have tried this program but it not works for me. It just told me following msg when I press SKIP
" An error occured while trying to perform the operation"

I have the same "issue" with Insomnia ROM.
Installed it and the alignment restarted itself.
I tried it 5-6 times then it closes. Same thing happens when Screen alignment is launched from the system tools.
Did you try to do it quite often? (more than 6 times in a row)

hi every one
could some one tell us how to lock all hardware keys except power boutton
we have this problem when the device is in pocket sometimes the device wakes up by accidentlly touching any boutton (yes all of them wakes the device)
and when it wakes up, sometimes the screen is unlocked (accidentlly sliding the ring )
i'm using holo locker and this thing happends commonly
please help...

the bottom of the screen responsiveness has no ... i will install the stock before, and it sucks to not let anything drop or an hour it stopped responding and restarted, that the bottom of the screen, which includes the navigation bar does not respond, that even in recovery mode.

Just saw the video, I have the exact same problem, but in the center of the screen... You could download pie controls and use it for the time being.

did try installing other roms ...

Oh man, I think I'll restore everything, lock the bootloader and take the tour, I think it ridiculous, the problem is in the phone hardware, factory, so it's their problem, what do I install or not install on my phone not change at all ... OK, here's a little story that just happened:
I enabled dt2w today. So I've been playing around for a while, browsing, watching videos and stuff. When in the play store I used the swipe gesture to open the menu and was surprised nothing happened. I tried several times, it just wouldn't work. Back on the home screen (info: I've set it so the screen rotates in all angles and the navbar is always on the bottom) I was in landscape mode and was surprised again because the navbar would not react. So I rotated to portrait and it worked.
So I launched the phone tester app and used the multi touch test to check my whole screen and found that to the left and right side there was a blind spot from top to bottom about 0,5cm in width.
When thinking what could have possibly caused this I disabled dt2w, locked the screen, unlocked it and used the multi touch teat again. Alas, the blank spots were gone!
I'm not sure if this is helpful for you though as you use the stock kernel.
